What excuses specifically do you have gripes with.
All allegations aside Smith was clearly not himself, you could see it physically.
Eubank was much improved, stuck to a rhythm and boxed his way to an easy win.
Any rational observer would conclude both the drop off from Smith, and the improvement from Eubank was evident in the fight.
The parabolic logic of some comments has blown my fragile little mind, one fan boys is the same as another. 😏

Benn has somehow made more in few fights against pensioners/no one with no real fanbase or ppv & has made millions of £ which even British world champs after 15 year careers haven't. Local essex lad/mate funded via dazn losses to make him into a 'star'.
Eddie shouting about vada testing but when Benn pops he says the board don't recognise vada so continues to put the fight on! 🙉
But they didn't, and they have a track record of ignoring VADA test results prior to the Benn failure, when Billy Joe Saunders failed a VADA test some years ago they stated "We don't recognise VADA tests, we recognise UKAD tests and the UKAD tests were clear so we are happy for BJS to fight".....with this in mind and given there rules hadn't changed from the BJS failure to the Benn failure why change there tune and treat Benn differently to BJS?
Note Benn nor Hearn not Kalle, nor Eubank Jr had any issue with the fight being cancelled, there issue is that the BBBoC spend 5 weeks knowing the testing failures and then waited until the week of the fight (4 days prior) to say "No we aren't sanctioning this fight because of the VADA failure" (a testing body that until then they'd ignored and at that time according to there rules wern't there officially drug testing body).
The BBBoC are the bad guys here not Matchroom or the fighters, BBBoC's actions and attitude in this entire affair has been slow to react, unprofessional and frankly now smacks of vindictiveness against Benn (when you consider the testing body who failed Benn has now rescinded that decision based on evidence brought by Benn and his team, the WBC who do recognise VADA have accepted that rescind decision and have lifted all sanctions against Benn...why are the BBBoC still hounding Benn and not accepting the judgement given there own testing body UKAD found no adverse findings?)

Based on the Benn legal case against UKAD, no one who fails a VADA test can be investigated or punished as its not part of UK jurisdiction. It's the same reason now why Whyte can not be punished. Its a complete joke.

I can’t believe how many people wrote off Eubank after the first fight. He was well ahead until he got caught. I understand he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he can fight and he proved it the other night
Saturdays show was decent enough. But i do miss Eddie on the domestic scene. Since he left Sky its never felt the same. And the Dazn fight nights dont seem to hit the spot in the same way.

VADA testing is useless in the UK if jurisdiction is a thing and UKAD can't punish VADA adverse findings.
UKAD created the rule now its backfiring . VADA cleared Benn months ago thats the issue, UKAD are just trying to do a pseudoban. The truth is he passed UKADs tests.
Except as we now know from the Benn case the Board will investigate failed tests from VADA
The court is following the jurisdiction of the commissioning body which was the WBC which already ruled. If matchroom is the commissioning body and UK based then this is not an issue.
If DAZN is insisting on VADA testing they can’t be no excuses for SKY or TNT .
If Eddie Hearn only rely on UKAD Helenus, Benn or Dillion Whyte wouldn’t have fail a test .

Benn hasn’t done much really apart from win a vacant WBA continental title back in 2018 if Hearn cared about “legacy” and Benn actually becoming a world level fighter he’d be chasing fights in welterweight division rather than a guy two weight classes above just because their dads fought. The reason Benn is choosing this fight is the same reason Tommy Fury has gone the RUclips/celebrity boxing route and that’s big money.

The point was that if he did, people would still detract from Eubank.

Put your hand in your pocket and make the sport safer. If one of your fighters fails a test put your hand deeper into your pockets to get around it. If any other fighter fails give them an instant 2 year ban. The level of hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Despite hearns motives his argument is valid , although i suspect his £30,000 is slightly exaggerated surely if hes going to be putting alot more fights threw the VADA system the business man in him will get a reduced price for each fight possibly £16,000 - £20,000 per fight if they agree a minimum amounts of fights per year with VADA

1, I never said 50% mate , like you say he and others are spin masters so his £30,000 is not confirmed and likely slightly high for effect
2 , agree the vast majority of his fights are not tested not sure if its 90% but but even if its close to that it shows how little he and others are doing , all within the boxing industry TV , promoters , managers are a disgrace in respect to PED testing
3 , ALL fighters annual testing dates should be made public with the type of test blood urine or both and who is carrying out the tests , as an active fighter should be tested 50 times a year absolute minimum
4 , UKAD stats are public and its a joke , boxing is not the most tested sport and many active fighters claim to go at least a year without a test

Fair play to Eddie. He's turned the Benn situation into a positive by using Vada (the only drug testing agency that actually returns positive findings) and left the other promoters and Jordan scratching their heads with what to do. They can't say they are only going to use UKAD after what's happened the past year when they were happily to turn the screw on Benn and Hearn when the positive test came from Vada. Every interviewer should ask on every fight what testing agency is being used going forward. Only way boxing gets cleaned up as BBBofNoControl has done nothing
