- It was very hard to narrow down the 6 that I just couldn't live without, as there are so many amazing herbs that have such incredible properties. In this video I tell you which ones I find most versatile, the ones that I use everyday, and why I love them. This video is solely my opinion and based on the information that I have collected. I am not a doctor so please do your own research to ensure that these herbs are right for you and your family.

My daughter was a month old and a Hurricane was coming. We had to relocate quickly. I was nursing my baby, but we couldn't stop. My milk got blocked, my mother in law fed her cereal. Off to the emergency room. The nurse told me to take chamomile tea to restore my milk. Worked like a charm!

Yes !!!!! First time a herbalist talk about our South African amazing Rooibos
Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I became obsessed with herbs 20 years ago. I took a class from an herbalist, outside of Austin, TX, and have never been the same since. It lead me to a large love of gardening and spreading information with friends and family. 🌿
I have stinging needle all over in my yard. My kids know not to touch it. I think more then anything we need to be teaching our kids this information and I try so hard to educate them so they have the knowledge.
For anxiety i take a proprietary blend with Valerian hops passion flower and lemon balm(stress) and i take GABA mood supplement at times and Ceylon cinnamon for my joints mood and metabolism. Plus cinnamon powder.
You are amazing!!!! Thank you for this video. Fell in love from 2nd minute :)))
So amazing! This video was so informative.
I feed my mares (female horses) raspberry leaf during their season (menstrual cycle) and it keeps their witchy spirits at bay. I throw in red clover and they think it’s their reward for being girls 🥰
Realistic information! Good job 👍🏼
I love the amount of wisdom you shared in this video!
I didn't realise that in American English herbs have a silent h.
So informational, thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you for your video. I'm new to this. I just started making a few things this year. I'm currently doing research on what would be good to use for seasonal depression. Fall and winter months are always a struggle for me. With 5 kids and holidays I can't afford to be in a slump.
Thank you ! 😊
Thank you for this 😃
i noticed that your herbs are used for Tea, for the past few years i been breaking out that green tea i bought from the grocery store to give the kids when they are sick. and this year 2019 to 2020 no one got sick. after they contracted Spanish flu in 2015 treating them with Tea was all down hill from there. and this year we also got Chinese Corona Virus on the loose in the world so hopefully that wont get us either so we got to stay on top of these sickness outbreaks.
Jonathan Black I thought Spanish flu was only in the past and it was irradicated.
I LOVE HERBS, IT'S GOOD TO SEE SOME ONE THAT LOVE HERBS LIKE ME. I'M ALSO STARTING MAKING TINCTURES.
Hello Willow. Is raspberry leaf tea specifically good for the menopause? Would appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
Great video just found your channel, where can I buy these herbs from iam in Bc canada
Just amazing! It's SO nice to have someone love herbs the way you do (and me 😊) and give your reasons why they matter to you.
Unfortunately I've been told that because I am a breastmilk donor, I can't drink teas or intake herbs. I wasn't told why, but after doing my own research, I found that it's not good because it could compromise the little infant's existing medications and underdeveloped tummy.
Have you ran into this as a naturopathic practitioner? Do you have any recommendations? I definitely feel a change in my mood and body since I've stopped my supplements and teas.
I would also like to know
@Pink Salt No. I notice I am not mt best self without these things. They support me and without them I'm missing something I feel I need. Herbs are so great.
I would listen to your body and look up specific interactions between certain herbs and meds. Pharma doesn't like ppl taking natural things that don't make them money unfortunately.
Hi there, can you tell me what would help with lickens sclerosis iam 71 and just found out I have it also my 18 year old granddaughter
Does anyone know of any other channels like this?
Hmmm I like tea tree oil, honey, cinnamon for anti inflammatory. Dandelion tea for digestion and upset stomach.
A red raspberry leaf not the leaves of a raspberry plant?? I always thought it was but it doesn’t look like it
When making a tea using these herbs, what amounts would you use?
What do you do with the leftover plant material you have after infusion? Have you ever heard of the alchemical art of calcination where you put the salts (body) of the plant back into your system thus driving the benefits deeper!
This is super interesting! I'm going to look into it now. 😊
I usually put them in my compost but now I'm intrigued and I'm going to do research on it! Makes sense to me. Thanks so much!

Can all 6 of these be put into a tea together at one time? What are your favorite recipes with these 6 herbs (including amounts for each)?
Another question; do you make the nettle tea into any soups or savory broths? Like perhaps mixing it into miso for a delicious savory soup? Because nettle tea alone strangely tastes like you're drinking a type of soup instead of tea, because it has so much of that umame flavor.
And what is your opinion/experience with nettle helping allergies/eczema? If you have had any experiences I would be interested.
I make nettle soup with potatoes, but you can also mix it with other ingredients so it tastes more like a tea, I mix it with rosehip and peppermint and have it with a bit of honey
Nettle is wonderful but if you are on blood pressure meds, be careful for it can lower BP.
Hey! What do you do with left over herbs after your tea? I feel guilty just throwing it away
Give it back to the earth grass plants etc
Can I put these in vegan capsules rather than make teas?
Hello Willow, did you see the study that said Stinging Nettle had activity against the coronavirus that caused the first SARS outbreak?
Are these herbs good for men?

Fluoride is terrible for you, but everything else sounds fine.
Where was fluoride mentioned? My entire family is fluoride free.
@@WillowWisteria 5:06-5:08. I wasn't* trying to sound rude, but I wanted to ask just in case.
Ah, yes... thank you. It does have trace amounts of naturally occurring fluoride. Flouride is fine in small amounts but if you’re getting it in excess (too much added fluoride in drinking water, toothpaste, etc, that’s when you start hitting problems 👍🏼
@@WillowWisteria All right. Thank you for clarifying. 😁👌🏾
Thank you for bringing up a very important point! 👍🏼
