Acccessorizing something you must live with, for whatever reason, can really make you fall in love with a room. Adding movement, texture, color, etc can really make the room!

@Nonamebabe95 after you cut a board on the saw there are sharp and rough edges, and her boards look thicker than her door trim, so I would sand to achieve a more finished look. I hope your husband approves of my comment now 🙄
Pro tip: Lowe’s and Home Depot both have a clearance section of paint that people ordered but never picked up, or was mixed wrong. So instead of like $30 they’re like $2-10 and really fun shades! They change daily

Agreed! I feel like I saw this every video & then I feel bad but eye and ear protection. PPE is important!!!! Hearing loss is so common and permanent 😅 I just want Morgan to be healthy & happy

You don't need ear protection lmfao my dad is 69 so he has been in the installing building making cabients and everything else for bathrooms, bedrooms and so forth.
Never once did he nor any of his family ever use ear protection nor did us(the daughters, sons and etcetera) we grew up with our family and these loud machines and guess what are hearing is still perfectly in tac..
Granted they use protection for everything else but hearing aid protection naw never and we are still good heck I am 35 like I said been growing up around these loud machines even the strong paint fumes, saw dust getting in my nose & eyes and etcetera this is normalcy for my life and all of my cousin's lives as well... @@bethlovesthings

You taking three years on a house makes me believe that it all happens within its own time. I rent a nice house but I want to own a nice house and I know that it will happen seeing you get to where you are rn 😭❤️
You're supposed to pull off the painters tape with it still damp or wet to prevent cracks and paint stripping
Or you can just score it before removing
I just know all that paint leaked under the tape. But at least she can caulk over it again to create a clean line.
@@elscheib Tip: Paint from the tape out around the perimeter. That seals it as it dries, but most importantly you're not shoving paint under the tape.
@@chippychinThat's a good tip. I've heard another tip for using painter's tape, which I have yet to try just because it sounds time consuming (and I would rather use a high quality brush, steady hand and patience to cut in than mess with tape)- lay the tape and go over it once with the same color that's already on the wall, so if any bleeding occurs, it won't be the color you're planning to use. Then once dry, proceed with your intended paint color and you should get a perfectly clean line. Sounds good in theory but whether it's worth it depends on the type of project.

I am so curious how much this 3 year build is costing. Does Morgan have other income streams or is the sporadic posting every few months really sustaining her and this kind of project? It seems super costly…no hate just genuinely trying to fit the pieces in my head

@@melissak8892 I mean there’s no way she isn’t in some sort of debt I think that’s a given. Most people accumulate debt when building like this but the difference is that they can afford to pay it off quickly in phases if they’re staying within their affordability. What I’m really wondering is if the finishes and design details that she is choosing for a house and project of this size is snowballing the debt into a territory that is way out of her affordability. And wheres the income coming from. It can’t just be RUclips
Part of me feels like she’s going to finish this project and then sell it within the next 3-5 years to recoup loss

You remind me of my younger self. Learning some trades can be invaluable. I took drafting (high school 70s) and electronics (certification 80s), and it led to an amazing career in technology. I'm so grateful that I had a dad like yours. ❤

It’s beautiful & luxe but I think it needs warmth! Maybe amber glass (or plastic) bottles for products on the shower bench. Get some baby blue eucalyptus to hang from your shower head. On the wall entering a shower, some hooks or better yet a towel warmer 😍

decor advice even though i hate the color of the paint ! thrift some wall art or sconces , goldie lil things it will compliment the counter top as a back splash of the miror so like your gonna see those decor behind u from the miror , the toilet place need wallpaper just to break the monochrome look obv in the same earthy colors
I got so excited to see you using a bold color for the bathroom wall but then you went GRAY?! Girly please add some pops of color in there, it deserves it and it would make it more personable and less “home magazine”. Your personality gives off such a more vibrant vibe! My favourite part was using your foot for everything. When you grabbed a pencil, holding the timber down to cut it. Legs came in handy

You should always take the tape off while the paint is wet for good lines, otherwise you may pull up some of the paint on the wall! I can’t wait to see it finished:)

Ooooo! You should do a really glamorous wallpaper in the closet, toilet room and maybe an accent wall in the vanity area. A pattern not too busy not too blingy. Just right not to take up too much attention. Unless you want that.
Get a huge mirror to go across the vanity. Bring it out a bit and put lighting behind it. And put lighting underneath the vanity to make it look hotel like. Then maybe a chandelier. I think 🤔

I just had my bathroom redone. Once you open the walls theres a whole new world of problems. I had to have my outside electrical moved, my roof patched, a new window put in. 19 days using a camping toilet. 3 people showering wherever we could. Husband at the health club, me and my kid at my moms. I wish I could send you a picture because I love my bathroom. It feels like a spa. Yes, it definitely went over budget.
