    I watch every video but I never comment. I figured you have given me so much enjoyment over the last 2 years that the least I could do was to comment and thank you. You make wonderful videos. I love how contientious and detailed you are and also how positive you are. You are just a breath of fresh air every week. Not to mention that you do do great work.     I love a deep grained wood bowl,but a burl with a gloss resin finish takes a piece to a whole new level. Both of these bowls are just beautiful.

    Your burl island bowls are magnificent! Who would have thought that those two lumps of wood destined for the firewood heap were keepers of secret continents and worlds of beauty! Excellent job, Jim!

    I love the natural inlays too, but the burl and resin pieces are my favorite. The red and blue are both beautiful, and they’re a stunning set.

    When I saw the thumbnail I thought, "Superman bowls!" You got gorgeous pearl swirl in these. I could stare for hours at these burl continents 🤩

    These two are absolytely spectacular, and I'm so glad I could watch the premiere for this! I rarely have the opportunity!
    I adore it when there are fragmented "islands" in the resin like that

    I could not agree with you more. Epoxy opens up so many doors for turning garbage wood into, what I feel ,as art. We have very little control over what the pigments do, but I am sure you will agree what they do on their own is awesome. Thanks for your videos!

    The thermal crack resistance of the designer epoxy is a game changer for these bigger projects. Another nice result.

    These are both wonerful pieces. I love the figuring on the inside of the blue bowl. Then i just really really think that the red one makes the wood really stand out. Great job, thanks for sharing with us😊

    The burl / resin combos are so beautiful and such an excellent use of otherwise unusable wood. The red is nice, but the blue is spectacular. If you kept it, I'm sure we could alibi you. 😉

    Wow. Those burl bowls really pop. They turned out amazing. I also like the shotgun bowl. The worm holes are a really interesting effect. Even with the epoxy your work still looks organic. I really appreciate the voice overs too. Designer epoxy

    Jim those are the most beautiful designer epoxy bowls that you have ever designed.I am learning more with everyone of your videos on how to improve on my turning technique. I will have to purchase some additional equipment to make some projects a little easier but at the same time more beautiful.Thanks for all the great lessons.

    Love the pearl swirls in the resin. Beautiful work as always. I remember the other bowls from previous videos, they are still gorgeous. I like all the different kinds, resin, natural inlay, and the pure wood, they are all beautiful.

    Oh, I really love this bowls. The red one is my favorite, this gleaming in the wood matches the pearly sheen in the resin. Burl Islands are really so great, in every piece of art that you do. And I really hope to have a lathe sometime to do something like that as well!
    You are a master of your art, and I am learning a lot from your videos. Thank you for your work, and that you share it with us!

    Really nice set of bowls Jim. Was 100% gonna say that the blue bowl crushed the orange one... but then you showed the revolving 'beauty' shots, and man... the orange bowl was most definitely a beauty!!!

    Those burls are amazing!
    I see a bear in the bottom of the blue bowl and a dragon in the red bowl. The colours are fantastic! Love them both! Just stunning! ❤️

    Hi Jim the burl and red resin and the burl with the blue resin look really cool. The bowls are really lovely and the wood has really nice grain and markings such as spalting marks.
