I've been turned off of epoxy by some people who seem to be using it as a substitute for material and imagination. You are using it as an enhancement, emphasizing the wood rather than the additives. Very tastefully done! And I personally think it has the perfect amount of being. Good job!

Wood turnings are nearly eternal examples of skill and beauty. Epoxy isn't eternal, though it will last a while before becoming scratched, brittle, and cloudy.

It’s been outside for several years, we use it to hold open the back gate! Quite heavy, Lilac is tough wood! It’s yours if you’d like! I sent you Myrtle Wood a few years ago!

As soon as you cut the wood in half, I was silently chanting "hollow form, hollow form, hollow form! It's been a while since he's done one!".
The movement in it is truly artistic. It's moodier than you usually do your pieces, but I LOVE it. The color of the Epoxy Resin hypershift is beautiful! Another stunning piece, the wood is awesome and I love the shape. The resin is also great but I agree with you that a little more hypershift would have made it perfect. I look forward to your videos each week, sitting on my couch with a coffee and watching you create such lovely items, thank you.

Gorgeous! Love the wood grain with that hypershift! I can hardly wait to see what you do with the mini burl you cut off! That would make a great small covered bowl

Jim, outstanding piece. Reminds me of Jupiter with the knot in the wood. The hypershift color you chose accommodates the wood perfectly.

I like that the final project wasn't in the thumbnail. Im sure it helps with views, but I enjoy the seeing the piece come into shape.

According to a poll I did a while back, most want to see the thumbnail finished. Thanks

Wow!🤩 I was saying “add more!” When you were mixing up the hyper shift at the beginning but at the end, I really like it! The subtle tones are great with the wood. Beautiful piece. Nice job!

That is the most beautiful wood I've ever seen.If the hyper shift had been more it would have taken away from the beauty of the wood. This blended very nice.

I thought it was going to be too pink at the start but it isn’t at all. Really beautiful. I have turned desert ironwood. Really hard! My source was I picked it up in the desert and put it in my suitcase! Great piece!
