For all those wondering why Carlos wasn't pinged for crossing the white line on pit entry: The crossing pit-entry line is only punishable when crossing it and then entering the pits. Otherwise it does not matter, like Turn 9 in Austria, where the racing line crosses the pit-entry line. So the crossing of the pit-entry or exit line is only problematic when entering/exiting the pits otherwise they are treated as if they are not there at all.
I think that's because the car is not bad but very difficult to drive, very sensitive, only a great drive like Verstappen is able to control it. Former teammate Albon once suggested that in an interview, but i can't say it for sure.

I only rate Stroll performance each race on the following criteria: Finishing the race (solid Stroll performance) / Not finishing the race ( mamma mia here we go again Stroll performance)
The only time I’ve seen that kind of dominant race pace this year has been from max in interlagos…and like then Hamilton is by far the fastest man throughout the entire race.

Oh dear these DTS viewers... Zhou had to pit, just like others around him. Magnussen was the only one pulling a one stop, and he was clearly going for it early on, and ended up being off pace because of it.
P10 to P2 is a heck of a drive, and I'm glad we're seeing there's still some fight left in Lewis. Maybe that's the confidence boost he needs for next year. Just hope Ferrari doesn't get all Ferrari on him.
I actually really like this track so far. Sure it looks like an upside down pig, but it provides more spectacle and entertainment than some of the more "traditional" permanent tracks. The high tyre deg, not too dangerous and not too easy, great overtaking and low grip all come together nicely.
Congratulations to George, Lewis and Sainz. Max is the world champion the 4th consecutive time. He would have finished much higher as its normal for this guy but he didn't take any chances just because he wanted to nail the championship. If you have any doubts see him in the final 2 races. He has the championship now so he will not be afraid to take any risk in the next 2 races...

Tsunoda dropping from P7 to P9 (would have been P10 if Gasly's engine hadn't been Renault made). It was to be expected with faster cars behind but it's the amazing qually that placed him in a position to score points in the first place. Lawson started P15 and finished P16 (would have been P17 if it weren't for Gasly's engine). This weekend goes to Tsunoda. (On a personal note I think Lawson can officially kiss the Red Bull seat goodbye after this weekend.)
Say what you will about the Vegas GP, but racing under all those neon lights feels like F1 just leveled up into a video game. Love it or hate it, it’s pure spectacle!
Interesting point of view where real event evolves into video game. Jerez or Paul Ricard are far better racing circuits than city streets ad-hoc converted for the show. Drivers must be extra cautious not to hit the walls, instead of hitting floor with gas pedal, which is definition of racing. No neon light can compensate that.

Oh dear these DTS viewers... Zhou had to pit, just like others around him. Magnussen was the only one pulling a one stop, and he was clearly going for it early on, and ended up being off pace because of it.

In what's at least the third fastest car, passing midfielders.... Not really that special.
I actually really like this track so far. Sure it looks like an upside down pig, but it provides more spectacle and entertainment than some of the more "traditional" permanent tracks. The high tyre deg, not too dangerous and not too easy, great overtaking and low grip all come together nicely.
Cars on this track look and feel awesome.

He would have finished much higher as its normal for this guy but he didn't take any chances just because he wanted to nail the championship.

Tsunoda dropping from P7 to P9 (would have been P10 if Gasly's engine hadn't been Renault made). It was to be expected with faster cars behind but it's the amazing qually that placed him in a position to score points in the first place.
Lawson started P15 and finished P16 (would have been P17 if it weren't for Gasly's engine).
This weekend goes to Tsunoda. (On a personal note I think Lawson can officially kiss the Red Bull seat goodbye after this weekend.)

Jerez or Paul Ricard are far better racing circuits than city streets ad-hoc converted for the show.
Drivers must be extra cautious not to hit the walls, instead of hitting floor with gas pedal, which is definition of racing.
