Thank you for the video
Welcome!!
My fan and compressor did not worked after I switched the A/C ON (only air released),but if I put test light on the wire pin from ecu (blue mix with red wire),both are work. What is the possibly problem?
What year make model?
@@RBTheMechanic civic eg 1995
Can you leave it straight wired like this, you can always turn it on and off from the AC button in the car
No it will blow the ac system it’s only to test it for. Second
@@RBTheMechanic how will it blow it when you can turn it on and off from the AC switch in the car
My ac turns on and off every 10 seconds and when I jump it it did the same thing. What does that mean. I know my system has Freon because I put 18 oz bottle . It was empty. Pressure not high because it floats around 20-23 it’s 60 degree.
Well it’s bad idea using bottle over pressures that could be ur issue
Hi I have a different problem on my civic 2000 . AC system still running when there's no Freon on it. I think that is the pressure sensor is short but wheh I takeout the pressure cable plug also it still running!
Can you help me please!
Not sure I never had ac system ru without pressure
@@RBTheMechanic i fex it
I found a jumper between clutch relay and condenser fan relay. I take it out and it's stop running without pressure as you say...
Thanks for the video 👍
I need a new plug and wires , a rat got to them do you know the part number for the switch itself?
No part numbers bro the part store can help u with that
My car does the same thing as the one in the video so does that mean that the switch is bad?
U can test the resistance on it
@@RBTheMechanic what is the resistance of the switch?
@@michaelcultura4837 don’t have the information will look in to that for future
How do you change the switch if it’s bad?
U need to use ac machine and recover all the refrigeration pressure and then use 2 wrenches and spin it off counter clockwise
What’s the next step if you do this and nothing comes on?
Check fuse relay ac pressure power to ac compressor
@@RBTheMechanic fuses and relays are good, both of the fans and the compressor comes on when jumped individually but no fans when the compressor is jumped.
@@Michael_Prater check ac pressure low and high side
@@RBTheMechanic the only thing I have is the r134 trigger gauge for the low side and it’s pressurized. It’s not full but it’s more than enough for it to turn on but I thought bypassing the pressure switch is supposed to make the whole system turn on regardless. I think it’s not receiving a signal from the ecu. Or maybe the ac control module behind the knobs is bad. That seems to be the last two things it could be. Which I’m checking them tonight
Where?
Down below back of driver head light
@@RBTheMechanic Thanks for replying Sir however you should have some kind of pointer actual or graphic coz those who dont know, like me, really need it. Thanks again.
