I can verify with my 2010 acura tsx 2.4, the 3 pin connector, you make the jump between 1 & 2. After I did that, the compressor ran without cycling on and off. It was just ON. It allowed me to add the appropriate amount of freon. Now i need a new ac pressure switch 🤑 thank you so much RB the mechanic. You helped me big time with these diagrams.

Just a word of caution to all you guys, anything more then two wires has a 5 volt reference wire going back to the computer...PLEASE identify this 5 volt wire before you attempt any bypass. I have seen it go wrong. The motor will stall and the computer will be fried and suddenly you could be out a grand and maybe even a tow to a dealer.

I have a 2006 jeep liberty. I tried recharging the system, but it wont take refrigerant. If i jump the ac clutch relay the compressor kicks on but it wont kick on when i try to jump the low pressure switch. The low pressure switch is new. I replaced the compressor because it burned up. I put the gauges on and the ac system and it has no leaks, it holds a vacuum. I haven’t changed to orfice tube or the receiver drier. What could cause the low pressure switch to not be jumped?

2 is the 5 volts from the computer, and 1 is the signal, so you jump from 1 to 2, then you have a direct 5 volts straight to the computer, and telling the computer that, the pressure is so high, and it may not run the compressor. It has to be a certain return signal in order to get the compressor running. That is my guess

My old car has just a simple two-wire switch screwed to the top of the receiver-drier. Is that the high-pressure liquid side ?
Do I just pull out the connector and jump the two pins ?
I find this switch a nuisance and unnecessary expense. My previous car never had such a switch on the receiver-drier.

How I can check it with multimeter.
I just don't know what position should switch will be either closed or open ,when car ac is on and when car Ac is of.
I am Checking it with Continuity .
When my car ac is off ,the switch shows no continuity means switch is open.
And as soon as I turn my ac on switch shows continuity means switch is closed .
It it how it works .
