    If the system gets to low it wont come on. So if you try and charge the system it will not pull the freon in. Jump this then charge. as soon as it takes some freon you should be able to remove the jumper and be fine. This is a safety switch to keep from burning up the compressor.

  • @TheMichaelNason
    @TheMichaelNason 2 года назад +6

    not to be a downer but its best to jump or bypass with protection, recommended fuse size would be 7.5A to ensure you do not burn anything up...cheers

    Hey thank you for showing me this. I have 2007 honda accord. For some reason my stopped working . It was blowing just hot air. I showed to the mechanic and they said i have to replace compressor. I worked by myself to replace the compressor. Now i see that the compressor wasnt working. I mean the clucth was not spinning. I try your jump start the pressure switch and it worked. @@RBTheMechanic yeah thanks, im just starting the diagnosis process. Ill be checking the relays tomorrow since I could buy 3 for $12 but after that the low and high pressure switches. Unfortunately the cabin air filter was completely clogged up so I hope that didn't strain the compressor to the point to where it wore out. The compressor itself looks as though it has dirty oil on it. Im wondering if high pressure could've cause the compressor o-ring to fail.

      No, I haven’t. I guess I might take it to local shop to check it out and hope it’s not the part itself. But I do have another question, my radiator fan is constantly on but when I plug in my obd it’s unable to communicate with it. So is It possibly ac refrigerant pressor sensor is causing it to not communicate with the system?

    My freon is full and i see that compressor start spinning when i turn AC on. But the pressure is low. Do you think the reason is this pressure switch or some problem inside compressor?
