‘It's a skimmer!': Social post warns of possible self-checkout scam at DC Safeway | NBC4 Washington

A D.C. man posted a warning on social media that included a photo of a self-checkout keypad at the Georgetown Safeway and a convincing duplicate. News4’s Joseph Olmo reports.

Safeway in Butte, Mt charges you double on your bank account on their self checkout., One as POS, and the other is ATM fo rthe same amount. Still waiting 5 days for them to drop this after calling their corporate office. Better watch your bank accounts.

I don't know why people even use skimmers today. Most of this is now being done through thermo video.
