    Thank you for this video and your channel ❤ I’m at the beginning of my TE journey and most other support groups, videos, etc. have only increased my anxiety due to seeing the severity of fall out that some people. This has become unsettling since I’m still not sure just how much I am going to loose. Your channel is informative, kind, and hopeful. I’ve watched this mental tips video at least 3 times to help ground me when it all feels so overwhelming. Thank you for helping this feel a little less lonely and helping me remember to look forward with hope ❤

    This happens to guys too right? My hair sheds so much now, its generalized and all over my scalp, my hairline is good and isn't receding, its just all over my head, it sheds when i shower, comb it or even run my hands through it. its crazy i lost about 50% already. I did notice this started when i started dental school around a year ago. its been so stressful and there've been lots of sleepless nights and im sure the stress is what caused this. i just dont know how to deal with it.

      yes it happens to guys and would make sense since i'm sure dental school is stressful, congrats by the way! just try your best to keep a healthy lifestyle and treat the hair you have really well so that it is in good condition!

    Hey I am going through TE rn and I am in my second year of uni so my self confidence is dropping a lot. I wanted to ask if your scalp showed during TE and did you use wigs to cover it up?

    Is there a peak shedding during TE?

    • @LAURENNEWLY
      @LAURENNEWLY  6 лет назад +3

      I don't know that there is a set "peak" - but i would say my shedding definitely had a "peak" for a bit there... but then slowed down after that!

    Yes, when does it end? I’m 7 months in and starting to panic.

      CL W. It must stop in 9-10 months. Regrowth in 4-6 months.a dermatologist told me

      Totally get the panic feeling - just have to stay positive and have faith in your body and do what you can to make it grow back - try to focus on what you can do to make it better instead of the things that are making it worse! Hope this helps a little. Also I would say my shed was about 6/7 mo or so so very similar to you!
