Its terrible on a daily basis to see chunks coming out😞i have always had amazingly strong hair. Now when i see chunks falling out its depressing and i am worried 😞
I want to thank you for the suggestion to just remove excess water and not to put your hair up. I suffered a trauma late last year and lost a lot of hair. Today is the first day I didn’t put my wet hair up and twisted under a t shirt and the shedding was a lot less. Just leaving my hair worked very well.
Your videos are SO helpful...I’m going through a really embarrassing, horrible and rough time of this, so thank you for these tips. I’m really looking forward to your: “To cut, or not to cut” video - if you’re still planning on doing that one!👍
Satin scrunchies (yes, bring back the scrunchy) are much gentler than elastic bands. Keep them lose and low. When you wash your hair, concentrate on the scalp and don't drag on the hair with the shampoo. Apply conditioner to the mid-shaft down to the ends. Air-dry as long as possible. You're right; avoid products. I used rosemary essential oils are my crown area and leave it in for 15 min. before shampooing.
Baby towels are amazing to dry the hair. I use the ones that come in packs, not the terry side but the other side which is similar to a t-shirt, but much more absorbent.
Also, a good tip is to be conscious of the clothing you wear. Materials like nylon or those with a silky/satin finish won't grab your hairs the way others will. Keep away from shirts that have pilling or a loose weave, like old tee shirts or flannels. You know which clothes you own are hair magnets... throw them out! (Or at least put them away for another day)!
Agreed. I have a shirt which hair catches on, even pet hair catches on it and it's so distressing picking off the hairs all day! Makes the shedding seem worse than it is
Your complexion is incredible!!! What are your secrets for skincare!! I’d love to hear!! Or even btr see a video on what you use ❤️ Thx so much for your hair hacks while going thru this nightmare! They’re so well done and informative 🙏🏻
Weren’t you freaked out by the possibility of having genetic progressive hairloss? Could you maybe do a video about that, how can you make sure it’s a te that’s eventually going away and not female pattern hairloss? I LOVE all your videos they are very very helpful and informative!
@@prometheus6853 it stopped shedding and seems to be growing back in at the temples. I also see lots of hair on top at the crown about 2 inches in length
I wear a microfibre head cap when I work out. It not only catches the sweat and is super soft but there's no need to tie hair up, just tuck it in and go as hard as you want.
I wear silk sleeping cap, my hair feels safe and I wake up with really good hair. I also would like to add that using hair clip claw helps instead of ponys.
This comment/question is for Lauren and anyone who is reading this comment: how long did your TE shed last? I’m just wondering from everyone...mine (knock on wood) seems to have lasted only 2 months. I lost a lot of hair in that time, but it does seem like it’s starting to grow back because I have a whole bunch of baby hairs coming out. I’m still trying to preserve what’s left. These little tips help, thanks.
To avoid tangling while I sleep, before I go to sleep, I brush my hair, starting from the bottom, and work my way up. If you go to sleep with tangles, you're likely to have even more tangles when you wake up.
so I've explained a few times but my computer that i had my picutres on at the time got water spilled on it 😟 so i only have a few pics from that time on my hubs phone and old phone i will try to combine them and make a post!
I’m so devastated over my hair loss I can’t wear it down at all and I put it in a little twist with claw clips ans I feel like that is making the breakage worse @ I have no ends now it looks like a birds nest 😭 hair wash days are the most traumatic days too but I also have seb derm so o need to wash more frequently
Lisa Gardner I would suggest hair fibers. It really helps to hide the ball spots and will allow you to wear your hair down or in less compromising styles

Ruhi Singhania mine stopped, I’m pretty sure because of my pregnancy. Not sure if it will start again once I give birth

Why would bald spots cause pain? Just curious
I think just because the skin on your scalp is normally covered and protected by hair so once they are more exposed it can be a little bit painful
Really love your videos!!
Hi Lauren, thanks for your videos. Can you please tell me the name of the comb you use?
I used the comb from the "Wet Brush" brand!
your voice is soo similar to carli bybel ✨
Thanks for the good advice.🌹
What shampoo or conditioner should I use
Your fall has stopped????
Did you ever do hair masks?
Yes! organic coconut oil was one when my scalp was dry that I liked a lot just dont use too much cause it can be difficult to get out
We need more photos of your scalp and side hair. You showed us only one. We would like to understand more the problem that you faced.

LAUREN M VIOLET hi there, where do you have seen the picture? Im wondering because i cant find it... thank you!
Don't all the hairs that are going to fall out need to come out so a new hair can come in?
Hi Lauren, when you washed your hair what wide tooth comb did you use?
Hi Marie! I used the comb from the brand "wet brush" it's listed in my products for hair loss video in the description box 🤗

Elle Page I wish I could wear my hair down , the ends are see thru and broke this is devastating
Avoid using any clips in your hair.
