Drew I gotta give you and Paul credit. You guys work harder than the young bucks I work with....Hats off to real men
Thank you so much for the comment my friend. I feel blessed
Paul said thank you.
Hard work pays off.
If you pay your help good you get good workers. Paul gets 300 a day 8 to 2 is our normal day it’s just to hot after that. When we work it’s non stop. Start to finish. We get stuff done. No time for bull crap. Thanks for the comment
I can testify. When they start, they start. They're friendly and you can chat with 'em, but your best choice is to get out of their way; they want to get it done. You can chat with 'em during their very few breaks!
Nice to see Paul back working with you..😊
More to come!
lets goooooo you the man drew
Thank you so much
It came a hella rain last night. It was the first measurable rainfall since Drew and Paul did their expert workmanship replacing my roof. Not a single drop of water came into my house. It doesn't get any better than that. You WILL get what you're paying for with Drew's team and experience. As an aside, he also did some impromptu patch work on my sister's house which is right next to mine. She couldn't afford a whole new roof and she was fortunate that someone sponsored her for the cost of patching. Drew examined the situation, came up with a plan and called it out for what it had to be, temporary patching, and said within 6 to 12 months she will need to get on the ball for a more permanent solution. But, there was not a single drop of water that came into her place either. You will not go wrong by choosing Drew. Trust that.
What an awesome story. I like hearing this stuff. It was a pleasure for Paul and I Loved every minute of it. You’re in great shape now. To be honest, your neighbor roof might last longer than that, but I basically said that to get them on the ball.
Great work Drew
Thank you drunken seller now go drink one on me
Great video brother
Thanks for the visit
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair your welcome brother
Sailor to you brother Drew. I've been following you for alot of years use to go under "the 390feking" decided as a joke to change it to an ole past time as a Sailor did 22 months overseas on a carrier airwing squadron.
Well, thank you so much for watching and that sounds like a very interesting job you had thank you for your service
looking good there guys
Thank you buddy
The owners will sleep better knowing they have a leak proof roof!
Great job!
What a huge improvement in 3 days!
We agree! And thank you so much. My dad always said hard work pays off. And of course do god work.
I am actually looking forward to the forecast rain on Thursday. I know I will be reveling in my decision to get this done!
Is about 11 hrs too far Drew?
Maybe. Can you text me your address address or call me 910-294-1761
I noticed you didn’t paint the termination bars. I bought my house and everything was painted including the termination bars. Are they not supposed to be painted?
Thank you in advance
I just like it unpainted
Ive watched nearly all of your videos over the years but Im confused as to why you started top coating. Has the EPDM material been failing?
No, not at all. No failure whatsoever it’s the heat. It’s the heat is the reason why we’re painting it white it makes it so much cooler inside. This is only the second one I’ve ever done and the difference is amazing as far as I’m concerned.
Would you rather have a white roof or a black roof?
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair If you put the EPDM over insulation board you wouldnt need a top coat. Correct? I have 3 inches of dense fiber board i'm going to put down under the EPDM. I think in one of your videos you say insulation board will disperse the heat.
Yes, I like insulation board. It will disperse the heat, but to be honest I don’t use it that much anymore because it’s expensive so I would rather just put OSB up there. Cover it with rubber and then paint it white with Hydro Stop made for Rubber. You can buy it at ABC Supply.
I may have missed it. But what is the cost of doing something like this?
I should leave that up to Drew to answer but he does not fool around with his quotes and so I will go out on a limb and tell you what I paid. I have a single wide 14 x 60 mobile home and I happily shelled out $10k for a completely new roof. I am newly retired and this is my forever home. I am going to die here but I am going to die in a dry, safe and mold free home. I only paid $3k the mobile home 10 years ago so for what I have invested in it and the time I expect to be here, I got a bargain. Your mileage may vary. I will also go out on a limb and tell you, if he travels outside of his normal operating area and has to stay overnight for a few days to resolve your issues (and resolve them he will), that, too, is on your dime and I can't say as I blame him for that. It is additional expenses for him and he has to be away from his family. I am totally satisfied with the outcome and it is hands down some of the best money I ever spent. Best wishes to ya.
@@ElbertPoling thanks for getting back to me I have been watching Drew and Paul for almost a year. I just moved to East Texas and new I was going to be getting a fixer upper. I got mine for 5k delivered and set. So far I have replaced the outside panels and have just started on replacing all of the subfloor. I was just wondering what I should budget for a roof. I was not sure if I wanted to go full metal or rubber like they did on yours
