Thanks good info
Given that most riders remove the front brake for DJ riding, they only spec'd out a basic cable actuated setup to keep cost down on the retail price.
I’m actually in the process of giving a 2021 Rockhopper Comp (XS) a facelift and converting it into my DJ. Singles crank, RH Judy front fork and leaving the 27.5s on.
I agree that the P series is pricey for the “restrictive” nature of a DJ, but it is cool that they’re appealing to that demographic now. 🤙🏼
Sounds like an awesome conversion. Let me know how you like it once you finish it and get a couple of rides in!
what happen to your rockhopper comp build ?
Clarification on P2 wheel size you mentioned. The wheel/tire size is not 24.5. The correct size is 24.
Whoops, I didn't realize that I said 24.5. Thanks, I appreciate the correction!
Can a 5’10” adult ride the p1?
According to Specialized the P1 is made for sizes 3'8" - 4'4". If you're 5'10", the P3 would be the correct size.
@@BikeHombrecan a 150cm ride p4?
@@sngye According to Specialized someone that height could use the P.2 or P.3
