On this same Nissan Live Set, they did a version of Understanding that I really like. One of my favorite early Evanescence tracks. As for my favorite song off of The Open Door, that's gotta be Your Star.
I usually don't like watching videos about reactions, but man, I love yours, I do love the facts that you're paying attention to the instruments and the small details. I'm a huge fan of them but I haven't notice these details till today (I don't have a musician ear). Thank you for all the videos. Please don't stop making them.

This song always hit my heart! There is so much there, especially the “following” at church. And also her acknowledgement of pain and suffering, the bridge is my favorite part!! Don’t forget “All that I am living for” and “Good enough” before you move on to self-titled. Good enough, do studio version with full piano intro (it’s a ballad). Love your reactions!

Interestingly enough, they chose it to perform it for the Live at the Rock Falcon in 2020 Studio which they included in the deluxe edition of The Bitter Truth. It’s a SHAME it’s not easy to find those performances on RUclips because they ROCK

This song is amazing , for me some early evanescence songs are dark, epic, atmospheric it can just put in silent hill soundtrack and it would perfectly fit. basically whole Origin(2000) album for me it's like another silent hill album🤣 Here some my faovite :) Field of Innocence (SH5 string vibe) Missing demo version (SH4 room of angel vibe) and so much more....

You should check out “understanding”. It’s also from this live set in 2007. Doesn’t get a lot of recognition but I personally thinks it’s one of there best songs.
Here's a thought for another double react. Try a 2003 live version of "Whisper" off the Fallen album, then try the 2016 /NY version with the new cast. See which one you like better.
Amy does bottom her voice out on this one. She right at the bottom of her range. On parts of it. Then she goes the other way and goes almost to the top of it.
Please tell me someone has been requesting their demos and eps to you…you’ll fall hard for the old stuff. Sadly the best amount of guitar and best album as a whole stopped on The Open Door. The sound and writing really wasn’t the same after Terry left. If you’re in the mood for some of the best but old Evanescence, you gotta chip away at Sound Asleep and Origin Eps. What songs I think you’ll love specifically are Field of Innocence, Lies, Bleed, Understanding (Sound Asleep version) Before the Dawn. I also really love how heavy the drums are in Farther Away - Anywhere But Home version. There are some good ones scattered about after The Open Door but the old stuff really is something special and unmatched
