What is most interesting about them is that they have released many singles with b-side songs, which to me are even better than the album songs. I'd love to see you have a look and compare a couple of songs from the earlier albums to now! They have always had the signature Biffy sound with the riffs, lingering and slides on the guitar. From Blackened Sky to the new albums are always a journey and a story to the songs, even if different in sound but always true to the core of Biffy. Would love to see your opinions on Glitter and Trauma, No such thing as a jaggy snake or wave upon wave!

That’s funny you said that because my wife always thought HIM had a heavier sound. She never listened to them because of that lol I told her they are one of the softest bands I listen to. She ended up loving them which is cool because now I can listen to them with her in the car!

I think its Bro co. You should just listen to all their albums. They are amazing and even better live. I have travelled a long way to see them live once in 2019 and last fall in October 2023. I don't think they sound anything like mainstream. They are pretty bid in England they headline big festivals their. I kinda messed up my knee moshing I have bad knees from playing sports. Being 43 years old does not help either. Good thing my knee was feeling better after a couple of days.

I was waiting for you to notice the second guitarist. LOL That's Mike Vennart, the touring guitarist. He's so good at lurking in the shadows. The band being in the round made him easy to miss.

That most played part, that you called hope....I can so hear bagpipes being plugged into the song right there. The band is a 3 piece, with keyboardist and second guitarist for touring/live performance.

They've become very adept at changing tempo, keeping it melodic, but the songs are not repetitive. 14+ years as a fan in America. For me it's the Beatles, followed by Biffy.

The lesson I learned from watching this film was that if wild animals like tigers were in the same situation as Pi, they might take each other's position without using their natural instincts as one of the "Kings of the Forest". The tiger probably feels that being with Pi is safe for him because he is a stranger but not threatening. It would be a shame if Pi became his prey in a situation in the middle of the sea where the tiger is nothing more than a stranded little cat. After Pi made it to the shores of Mexico, Richard Parker landed and went straight to his natural habitat. maybe in the Tiger's mind it wasn't like the fairy tale that he would look at Pi and thank him but Richard Parker thought, "I won't eat you because you have become a safe place for me in a strange place called the ocean and it's time for me to live again as the "King of the Forest" As it should be, you are no longer my concern from now on."
