I forget how good this song is, and as usual you make me discover little subtleties that I don't pick up on myself. Lovely reaction. Now for the live version.
Retrospectively, I think the "Minor Earth" album will come to be regarded as one of the band's best. It's got sleepers like this, "To Let You Win", "Thought that It was You", "You'll Never Get Over Me", the three singles, and the last two tracks ("I Won't Forget You", "Mary Ellen") that don't get a lot of love.
Morten shows some skin to us ladies. I am not complaining. This whole concert is amazing and I love it when the band jazz up their music. There is a whole concert from Basel in 2005 that has this jazzy vibe.
Mike, I guess you still hasn’t listen to Analogue? Don’t forget the live version from Frognerparken. Or Locust. If you want something rather different.
I like both versions but I find that Valhall's is more timeless, less anchored in the years of the early 2000s. I appreciate the versatility, creativity and obvious musical talent of this group during their concerts. This song, among others, is a good example. Special mention for Magne's beautiful melodic piano notes in the live version. 🥰🎶
I see you've put your reactions on hold, Mike. I would still recommend the Norwegian band Wig Wam (80's Glam metal, but made in 2000+) to you, either for reactions or just for yourself to get to know. The band's song "Do Ya Wanna Taste It" is the promo song for James Gunn's HBO series Peacemaker. "In my Dreams", which was Norway's entry to Eurovision in 2005, is also used in the series. I can otherwise recommend "Never Say Die", "Kilimanjaro" and "Out Of The Dark". There are probably even more very good songs that I have not yet become familiar with.

I love the studio version...but have never bothered to watch a live version... but can I just say: LOVED the live version!!! Wow!!! 🌟💕
Totally agree with your comments on second version. It IS beautiful in its own way.
Love this song so much 💕

Absolutely second the frognerparken version of analogue, the first time they played it live, and I still think it’s the best performance of it live.

Live version totally different. Deep feelings on this one. This would be perfect to use in a movie. Not sure what movie but song would be perfect.!!
Adore it ❤
