    I purchased the Aveeno PHA Exfoliator about a month ago and I must say that as someone with rosacea, eczema, an allergy to fragrance and balsam of peru, dry and extremely sensitive skin that normally cannot tolerate leave-on exfoliator- this product is amazing! I had been searching for a wash-off product that was affordable and free of my allergies for awhile and it’s great when used once or twice a week. ☺️

    • @DrDrayzday
      @DrDrayzday  2 года назад +4

      So glad to hear! I am happy that they came out with this one

    • @ademure
      @ademure Год назад +2

      @rumiaktarsila6564 yes, it should be fine for your skin type! It’s great for extremely sensitive skin but I would use it a few times a week so that you don’t over-do it. If you exfoliate too much, that can set you up for more irritation potentially. It all depends on what your skin can tolerate but a few times a week would be helpful for clearing out those clogged pores. Make sure you are cleansing well every evening and moisturizing afterwards too.

I have tried every cream, painful scrubs, spoke to MD, without any real results. I have scars all over from picking them over the years. Now I’m 27 and I have stopped caring about it. I have accepted it. Thanks to you for explaining this condition. Always so informative ❤

    I use 15% azelaic acid + Tretnoin combo cream from apostrophe for the KP on my face with 10% lactic acid by the ordinary. it was the only thing that worked. i use cetaphil moisturizer for the dryness. Im also on spirnolactone. I tried everything else and this combo is all that worked. 10% peroxide gel also helps occassionally. KP also has to be treated from within. Gluten, dairy and processed sugar make it worse. a good probiotic also helps.

    I'm just turning 42, and your videos made me realize that the bumbs I've had all over my upper back and shoulders are KP. I'm extremely self conscious about the rough, bumpy forehead and red ,bumpy cheeks. My forehead isn't red, but it has skin colored bumps, fine lines, and extremely rough skin. I also lost the fat pads above my eyebrows, making my forehead stick out more. This on top of my thinning hair and disabilities, and I'm too poor to see a dermatologist. Which face product would you recommend I try first? I just ordered the kp cerave body cream and lotion..I'm too poor for everything, but I'm also depressed about my appearance.

Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy takes a little longer to work but is a much more pleasant experience and I am much more likely to use it regularly.

    I’ve suffered with KP on my arms since teenage years but only in the last 3 years has it appeared on my forehead. It’s really knocking my confidence.
    I’m pregnant so wondered which one of these products or ingredients are safe to use during pregnancy?
    Thank you so much for your videos, I love how informative and straight to the point they are!

    I used the Zeroid urea cream once on my face and it burned. 🤣. Now Aveeno came out with a lotion called Tone and Texture. It's brand new. I found it at Walmart. It has PHA in it. I don't see why someone couldn't use it on their face even though it's marketed for the body. I didn't know that Aveeno PHA exfoliator wasn't a face wash. I just might give that one a go. The only thing is the tube is filled halfway. Kind of like a rip off to me. The Inkey List does the same thing with their Oat cleansing balm and their fulvic acid face cleanser. Idk why certain companies do that. A half filled tube is not cool.

    Would you recommend this routine for children? My daughter is 4 and has KP on her face since she was very young. I don't want to draw attention to it, but would like to try to help her treat it before getting a little older.

    Wow I clicked on this so fast 🥺 I have this on my face severely.. I started putting on foundation when I was in 5th grade to try and hide it. It also makes my eyebrows sparse, thin and blonde. I’ve tried many, many products to no avail. Looking forward to trying the first three products you mentioned. I do avoid Urea since it’s not vegan.

    I am 67 years old and have had KP on both upper arms all my life. It does not respond to Salicylic Acid at all. Dr. Dray, can you recommend a product that is not too expensive for KP on the body? It got less reddened over the years, but my skin is still rough and bumpy. TIA

      Amlactin. Or there are many generic versions of this product. Walgreens, CVS or Amazon.

    So... Use AHA or urea, but not both? I use retinol in the morning and want something for the evening. I was planning to get an AHA face cream to go along with the urea face cream I'm already using, but it sounds like that might be too much.
