  • In this video I will share my easiest and fastest crochet beanie pattern. This crochet beanie hat is so fun and easy to make, it's perfect for beginners.
This is the basic beanie hat I use for my character animal hats. All the instructions are the same as in the video for all sizes but just the size of the crochet hook changes. I suggest you always use medium weight yarn if you want to use a 6mm crochet hook.
Remember, these are just suggestions everyone crochets with a different tension and your beanie might be bigger or smaller than others.
Infant- Size G Hook, Babies Size H hook, Toddler Size I hook. To crochet a beanie for an older child use a size J hook and a medium weight worsted yarn. For adults you can use
a size K hook and a heavier weight of yarn (maybe even a chunky weight. The pattern is the same for all sizes. Only the size of hook and weight of yarn changes. This makes this the perfect beanie pattern for all sizes. From Baby - adult size. Follow the same pattern. Happy crocheting

This is such a fabulous and easy pattern! Thank you so much. I am just starting to learn how to crochet and have made over 40 scarves to put into care packages for the homeless, but had to purchase hats because I didn’t know how to make them yet, and now I can make the beanie hats to go with the scarves for an extra layer of warmth for them. I crocheted along and made my very first hat as I watched this tutorial. Such a blessing to find your channel! Thank you for sharing this video. 🙏🏼🧶

Thank you for this. I made a scarf for my 65 yo father the other day and he likes wearing a beanie type hat over his ears while he works, as he is outside a lot, and I could not for the life of me figure out a magic circle. I've been crocheting since I was a kid and I don't ever remember learning how to do that, and I'm 40 now. This video helped me out so very much. I too have a channel where I do makeup and sometimes handmade jewelry, but figured I'd show some love!
