F80/F82 Differential Oil Change DIY

For the F8X series M3/M4, BMW recommends that you change your differential oil every 50k miles (or every 5th oil change following BMWs 10k mile oil change interval).
Drain and fill plugs should be replaced.
SIDE NOTE: It seems like a lot of other tutorials mention the torque spec as 60nm. This is INCORRECT and it seems to have started from a DIY in the F80 forums and other RUclipsrs have copied this misinformation. ALL of our torque specs come from the official BMW service manual / ISTA.

I usually change 1. When I first buy a vehicle (unless previous owner has proof of work recently) 2. Every 50k miles

@@tuned_auto Nice video. I had a knocking sound coming from the diff. BMW serviced and fixed it. Could the problem have been the oil?
