Lamborghini Diablo shooting FLAMES! (4k)
mine only comes on after a launch when my wheels spin (550i xdrive) and after i dismiss it i don’t get the warning till my next launch. any idea what it could be?
Did you need to replace the wire as well or was that just over kill for the video? Im trying to decide if i should buy just the sensor or both wire and sensor.
@@learthasani6875 you could get away with just the sensor.
What grit sandpaper?
220 will work
Hey did you reuse the washer from the OEM mounts when torquing down the upper nuts? The rogue ones didn’t come with one and now that I’ve completed the job I realized perhaps I should have used a washer. Edit: after watching another video I realized these are flanged nuts and the hole is small so I should be good. Edit2: also, for anyone reading this, it'd be a good idea to get a ratcheting 13mm wrench to do the upper mount bolts. that heat shield can only be moved an inch or two back not giving you much space to turn a wrench; and you cant get a socket on there either.
Have the same issue on my 440 thanks for making this video!
Thanks for making this video, I had the same error on my f80 and for some reason I swear it was the wheel speed sensor. Installed it and got that chassis warning and even did a edc start up in ISTA. And now that I watched your video and you said vertical wheel speed sensor and it’s actually that sensor on the strut. I just went back to a screen shot and it said vertical so now I feel dumb and relived to finally know what to replace lol.
I get a thump everytime i press the throttle. I assume its the bushings
By any chance did you have the "clunk" before doing this and did this help? The clunk can also be diff bushing related so if you did that job did it remove the clunk?
Diff bushing is going to fix the common clunk issue.
Im going to do this soon on my f31 n55, oil priming is such a strange topic ... 50% say myst do then 50% say no its fine it dont need 🤔 Joys of opinions
Can you use on small parts of the seat's?
I got my car scanned and left sensor is faulty, I replaced left sensor but not right sensor. Im still getting error.
@@JTRoadz if you in fact replaced the correct sensor, I would try clearing the codes
I feel like you left out a ton of bolts that need to be bought, in the part numbers area. Diff bolts? V brace bolts that are said thats needed to be replaced. Id just like a straight forward “all needed hardware and parts” list with part numbers.
Im also confused a bit as im only doing the rear diff bushings and upgraded mount. So im not sure what bolts to keep or leave out.
The drivers side isn’t the same Becuase the battery box isn’t ont he other side so how do you run the wires from on light to the next on the left side? You can’t “repeat same steps” when the l left side do the car isn’t the same as the right…
There's no cables to run on the drivers side like the passenger.
Will this work for an i3 ? I'm having the same fault, after getting tires changed.
@@ashneelprasad5625 you might have something else going on. I would get the car scanned.
5w30 for colder weather temps, then 5w40 for spring and summer?? Or am I wrong here! I live in MN so temps get down to 20-30 during fall then it gets put away for the winter!
True you need a code cause most times it’s the rear wheel sensors
This video made me buy the product. Used it on my BMW and the results were incredible. Thank you guys for posting this.
Who much did this piece cost you? Can you provide the link?
Yo for the description you put 215Nm / 15ft lbs instead of 215Nm / 154ft lbs
Whoops! fixed.
Question, I installed the diff poly bushing on my BMW M4 DCT too and I was wandering if you have the same noise coming from the diff as me, it sounded like a knocking/ Clunk noise when gear is shifting down or when you push the gas pedal really fast or you let go of the gas really fast and I was wondering if you have this experience after installing them?
Make sure both the front and rear brackets are fastened properly. Sounds like you have something that's not torqued all the way.
@@tuned_auto they are all torqued but am not sure if it the stiffness of the bushing itself or not.
@@tuned_autoI think you might be right not sure yet but am about to go back and recheck the torque!
Had no idea there was a vertical acceleration sensor! Sounds like a little bit of German over-engineering
You’re ignorant. Every modern car has one. It’s to prevent you from swerving all over the road, flipping over and then dying. Has nothing to do with over engineering. It’s a simple sensor.
does this error cause poor ride quality?
No change in ride quality. It will just disable your ability to change suspension stiffness with EDC
Ugg I’m having this same exact problem
I know this is an old video but hopefully will get an answer. For the bolt that is covered by the gas tank, couldn’t you use a torx ratchet wrench to fit in there without having to drop everything more?? Great video 👏
@@azdannyboi it's not that old 😅 and no because the bolt is too long
Just wondering cause my car is staring to have a slight clunking noise in the rear when cruising and getting on the gas and letting off the gas is this what you experience?
@@khalidali8482 yup! I'd confirm by looking at the bushing. You might be able to see it without jacking up the car by using your phone.
Yo I have the same noise, I thought I did something wrong but I guess I wasn’t the only person, I try to find a video of after they installed them and test drive to see if the noise was there but I couldn’t find any video🤦♂️
Thanks for the video very informative. Did you have to clear the codes once the sensor was fitted or did it go away by itself? Thanks
Went away on its own 👍🏻
The dual mount bracket looks a great solution, good job and tutorial. Is this job worth doing on a 2019 car with the later bush? Thanks
I guess it comes down to preference. How does the drivetrain feel when shifting? Are you tracking the car?
Liqui shitly is trash
Was the $5000 worth the 100hp?
@@sammunroe389 If that's the truth, that's definitely worth it
@@kylepatton2423 commented with my personal account on accident lol. I got it from one of the moderators in my Facebook group "E46 Owners" for 1800$. So worth it. VF was supposed to charge me 500$ to tune the ECU and never did so that was free lol.
@@tuned_auto Oh nice!!! Lol. Yeah if I can come up on a deal like that I'll do it too. Thanks for your honesty most people on YT aren't so nice to strangers
So I did mine and it vibrates a lot I know you said if you over tighten them it’ll vibrate but why is that ?
You're squeezing the bushing making it harder for them to move properly and absorb vibrations
You might find this video with the truth about leather coatings interesting! ruclips.net/video/qIiZDqN2pDo/видео.html
Hi. Could you share me the information on the bushing removal tool ??
There is a whole kit for the job: amzn.to/45bY65O
Thanks mate for this DIY, I was looking to restore the blue 12 clock marker on the M performance steeringwheel because I have also some wearing on it. Will give it a try!
Yesterday followed this instruction and it went perfect! Thank you👍🏻
Hey my passenger side light sequence for these oled tail lights does fully start anymore. Any information on how to solve this would be legendary
You checked all the connections? Nothing broken from closing the trunk? Make sure nothing was pinched. If everything looks good, VLAND offers a pretty fair warranty.
@@tuned_auto I have not checked anything internally yet I will do that tomorrow morning! Thanks for the quick reply much appreciated! Fingers crossed it’s just a pinch🤞🏾
I have perform these two mods and have transformed the shifting experience. I do recommend removing the clutch delay valve inside the slave cylinder.
How much time between coats
Awesome video, I will have to try these on my F87 😎
I sanded it too super smooth but it became rough after applying the paint, what should I do?
Let it dry, sand lightly, and re apply dye
@@tuned_auto i did that too. I feel like after applying paint it will not feel as smooth as prior to applying paint.
Buy a new steering wheel
Great video! I see they sell a 'Pale Blue' as well, I wonder if you can just use that and not have to mix in the white.
Possibly!
Does it come with a valve controller? As in can you manually open and close the valves? Or does the bmw ecu control it?
Hi there, where do you plug in the black connector that is on the boot lid light?
Yo bro manual says 5w30 on S55 engines. I see that you used 5w40 instead. Have you had any issues? I have a couple mods to my car and wanted to try liqui molly but they only sell 5w40
Updated manual includes 5w-40. Believe it started on 2017
Gutes Video 💪🏽 Wieviele Lenkräder kriege ich mit einer Packung Aufbereitet? Was glaubst du?
Ich denke, ich hätte aus dem Rest ein zweites Rad machen können. ..Übersetzt von Google. Ich hoffe, es klingt ok, lol
do mine!
Awesome clips!! This is stock downpipe and the full Dinan exhaust? (Midpipe + Axelback)
Yup!
The OEM battery has a small connector port 6:12. I currently have a non OEM battery and that battery does not have a connection port. The connection is supposed to be a battery module inside LI-ion battery which allows you to program the battery. Do you know a way to program the battery without buying an OEM battery?
You can code in batteries with carly and I guess Bimmerlink.
So aftermarket batteries dont have a battery module inside. As you can see at 6:12 there is a connector and that connector is for the battery module inside the battery. @@Salpeteroxid
Your choice on where the modules were glued to the trunk wasn’t a good option, my trunk cover didn’t wanna fit back on. Had to remove them and hide them inside the trunk
Are these exact tail lights compatible with the 435i?
Yes
@@tuned_auto thanks! Gonna order me some for my Christmas gift to myself😂
Same procedure for F83? And how do u know whether or not to replace driveshaft?
Yes. You don't need to replace your driveshaft when replacing the rear bushings.
@TunedAuto_Official subscribed to your YT and requesting to join your F8X owners FB group. I think I need to replace the bushings but have another primary issue in diff or driveshaft. . .or Trans 🤦🏾♂️
hey what wheels setup are u running?
