Your hair looks awesome!! It's really sad that we ladies go to a salon because we don't wanna ruin our hair and $100's later, our hair isn't near what we wanted or asked for and sometimes... RUINED!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!!💞
So true I spend $300 getting my hair done for my birthday about a week ago and he destroyed my hair completely 😢
This completely saved me from spending more money at the salon. I went from orange brassy hair to a very nice ash blond. You saved me so much time and money, thank you!
I had some manic panic blue left over from dying my daughter hair and some cheap conditioner made it a super light blue/purple and thanks to that no more brass/orange I’m so happy would have never thought to do this until watching this video, amazing!!Thank you so much girlie!!!
I was really looking for a video about how to remove the orange from the blonde hair but… why no one is saying that this woman is identical to the actress Candace Cameron Bure!!!?? Beautiful
You can also use manic panic blue mixed with conditioner. Does the same thing to tone. I do it with manic panic ultraviolet and a ton of conditioner mixed in a bowl, apply and let it sit, then rinse out. No harsh anything to damage your hair. You probably could have saved yourself several trips to the salon.
hi. I had orange hair, thank goodness I found your video!! I mixed as you did but could only get dark brown colour, mixed it and let it go dark, then added blue shampoo as I had tried using it again and again....now my hair is spot on! xx 😘
I really love the little bird. It’s so cute. I’m glad you put it in the video and I think your hair looks wonderful now. Thanks for the tips. You and Little Birdie. Have a blessed day.
Thanks so much! I’m going to try it on my orange hair 🙏 your hair came out beautiful! 🙏🙏👍👍God bless you and your loved ones!
You actually look really good with the orange tones in the first one. you should go red
Wow thanks for this video never thought of Blue Hair Dye. Wow 🙌🏼💖🙌🏼
omg ur so good at explaining!!
This works AMAZINGLY. I had try it too. Life and money saver🤑🤑🤑
You look better with orange hair
Better before ,it looks muddy afterwards
Her hair looks a shade of green
So it won't dye your dark darker??
I always use a ash blonde on my orange bleached hair. Works great for me
Which number you use ?
candace cameron vibes for daysssssssssssss!
Awww, I love your bird. Thanks for sharing! 💜💚💙❤
Thank you so much for your great and helpful video. I put the color, developer and a whole bunch of shampoo, then mixed and let it sit and applied to my super orange hair. Once finished I waited like 5 min, then washed it and no change on the orange parts. The already yellow parts got nice and ashy but the orange parts remained orange. Was I supposed to mix the color and developer, let it sit THEN add the shampoo? Did I maybe add too much shampoo? Can you please help me? Thank you
Did this give permanent results?
Omg ur bird is too cute.
It looks a little green. Does the green wash out over time?
Do you leave it in the hair first or just use it as shampoo ? X
THANK YOU!! It really worked! ❤️😇
You look great! What do you think will happen to my white blond highlights that are mixed in with the orange? Will they turn dark?😳
I love your bird 10 seconds into vid
Thank you again so very much back at it again most definitely
Hard to focus on video with that cute bird doing cute birdy things
it looks green
And dull
You can also put a few drops of food coloring in your shampoo.
I tried this but it never worked for me :(
I have stopped dying my hair and have white hair with yellow tones and was wondering if this would work on my white hair 🤔
Purple shampoo is for yellow.
I always thought that salon should do a “patch test” to see what it would take to lift the hair. It’s very difficult to lift color on dark hair - it often takes 3-4 sessions for it to lift completely.
The other trick that stylists don’t know is the hair should go through a deep clean with special products that remove mineral buildup BEFORE hair treatments. A lot of people have mineral buildup on their hair from hard water and the environment, and it makes it difficult for color to “take”.
That’s becasue they want you back frequent. U are correct they don’t do that. Be honest hair precessionals… I don’t mind paying… if you’re doing right… but twice I get ripped and over processed damaged hair. Back to my RUclips to heal my damaged hair. Shame on them! Hmm or
Maybe is me for
Trusting😢
Your bird is awesome
I liked it orange
How often do you have to re-do it?
You are so adorable but it’s grayish green now. I don’t understand the trend for women to have grayish hair color lately because it dulls the skin tone and adds age. If your hairdresser had bleached it out light enough the first time, you wouldn’t have to deal with all this and would actually be blonde. Maybe go to someone else next time?
My hair turned blue and only on top 🤣
I let it develop and applied conditioner instead of shampoo.
I believe the quantity was not good. I used tree bits of color and same amount of developer. My roots are orange and the rest of the hair is platinum highlights/balayage with a bit of this new Frost and Design from L'Oreal I only left for 50 min but needed more time 😔
Do you have any idea how long would it take for the rinsage to fall off?
My hair turned blue too😭
Hi,👋 I have brown/black hair, I tried to dye it light brown but it turned out copper yellow orangish😭😭
Sooo ugly color😡
Can I use this same method to get the light ash color that you have?
Or do you think it doesn’t going to work with my hair because I have dark hair of my own😢😩
I am Sure, your friendly little bird dont need such treatment😅. Really amazing cheap and easy solution. Your blue eyes are beautiful😊
Please tell how much shampoo in 3 tbsp colour
I just tried this and it definitely helped the orange tones a TON! The only thing is some areas of my hair that were already light have darkened a little bit. Did this happen to your/ did it fade/lighten with a couple washes ?
Late reply, but maybe you or someone else needs it: if you have different degrees of orange on your head, some light, some intense and some yellow and maybe even red, than this method might not be for you unless you want to put in a lot of work. Do not apply to the yellow parts, two minutes for the light orange parts, a bit longer for the darker orange parts and a drop of green should be added for the red or redish parts. So you might need to treat a few strands at a time, some for two minutes, some a bit longer, some with a drop of green....you get my point....all the time watching closely because it can get really dark, if you let it sit for too long. I would never leave it on for more than 5 minutes. You can TRY to rinse it off, if it gets too dark but this will take a few weeks....
You just rescued me.
Its the bird for me :)
Your hair looks green
An even safer method. Do the same but instead use a mixtone, or base corrector or how ever it can be found in a local supply store. Get ash for levels 3 to 5. Blue for 6 to 8. And violet for 9 and above. Safer and more efficient. And I might add less expensive?
What brands can I find?
Does this really work you guys? I’m SO SCARED BUT IM SO BRASSY I don’t even wanna go out in public because of it :(
It totally works. Wish I knew about this years ago. The darker the hair, the more color and developer you use. My hair is long and dark with lots of orange, some yellow. Goes almost down to my waste. If you’re using conditioner, I recommend 1 1/2 cups of conditioner to cover the entire hair if you have my length. I used a good conditioner I like to help my hair health. If you’re using shampoo, you can use less. I applied the conditioner mix on dry hair and combed through to make sure if coated evenly. I let mine sit for 5+ mins after I covered everything but the whole process from start to finish was about 20 mins and I was rushing to coat the whole head. Saw a video where the guy just applied it like you would shampoo. Not sure if that would coat evenly enough but seems a lot easier and faster than what I did. I will say, the color turned out beautiful. Exactly what I wanted.
How often do you need to do this?
I followed your directions exactly and it worked on the back/bottom of my hair but the top/front turned more orange! Can I do the riseange more than once?
Nobody replied, and you propably do not need the answer anymore, but maybe someone else does: Yes, you can do it again but you should watch it closely. Apply on dry hair and watch it the whole time, so that you can wash it off immediately as soon as it is no longer orange. Roll the strands, that are really orange between your fingers and devide the hair a bit to see, if it is toned enough. If your hair is more red than orange, you will need a drop of green in there, too. You could buy directions or manic panic and just add a drop of it to the black / blue dye mixture. Those are really cheap and non permanent.
So use it like u shampooing ur hair ?
Okay even the orange looked good on you because you are so rudely pretty! Lol
If it's yellowy orange some bits go green
Really?
Yes! I can comfirm that!
I would like to try it but not with permanent colour. It causes more damage!
You can definitely do it with semi permanent, white conditioner and applied to damp/towel dried hair!
I just tried this and now half off my hair is green and the rest is still orange 😂
so is hers, look.
*Yellow* hair + *blue* dye = green
Never apply this to the yellow parts of the hair. Only to the orange parts, watch closely and wash off, as soon as you can see no more orange. The mixture should be light enough for you to still see orange when applying.
Thank you SO VERY MUCH ❤
Does your hair have to be wet first?
Wet hair is darker. As you should watch closely and wash this off immediately, when you can no longer see the orange, I would recommend applying it to dry hair, as you can see the results better.
Omg thank you for this
Thnx i think I'll try this on my eyebrows since they always turn orange
I've seen a few other videos that do it this way also. The other is ash blonde hair dye. I'm trying dark ash blonde if it doesn't work trying this method.
I wonder if you add a "spit" of the color only tube from a blue Black kit to your mixture of color/developer when dying your hair blonde using a box dye, if your color would come out an ash or greyish toned down yellow or red color.
Interesting…now I’m curious too.
THANK YOU😘😘😘
Thank you 👍😊❤
Thanks!!!!! ☺️❤️
I do this, but some very light areas of my hair, turn to the green, so be cearfull!
How long do you let it develop first?
Angie (the original video) never ever said the color needed to sit and “develop”. You can watch Angie’s video too and you’ll see.
I watched Angie’s video too. No waiting. Just mix well. I mixed the color and developer first and made sure that was well mixed before I added conditioner. Been two weeks and brass is starting to show again so I’ll try this with shampoo next time. Hear it last longer. The color turned out amazing.
In the Uk the new Nutrisse so called blue black is actually a PURPLE base not blue...my grey bits are purple now 😢
Her hair looks a shade of green
Your hair is green!
Does it have to be permanent can it be semi permanent?
No it doesn't, you can definitely use semi permanent but it works better with conditioner! Using semi perm. is much better on your hair and it is easy to switch up if need be.
And always apply semi perm. to damp hair, it will last longer and you will achieve a more even result.
I just bought the intense blue back same if the video and the mix looks orange no blue like the video. How long I have to wait until turns blue ? I’m scared to put something orange in my hair 🥴
Or perhaps black toner?
my hair turned blue black. thanks allot. I left the mixture 3 minutes with a sulfate shampoo.
My front almost white highlights turned blue, I bleached them for a second and it came out. Rest of hair seems okay, like ash brown/blonde. UGH. If I go to a salon I don't like it . If I DIY I panic. Can't win! But I DO love saving the 200 bux! worth the minor mistakes. Yours wil fade out, I promise.
Why didn’t you google and watch the ORIGINAL video who says DO NOT LET THIS STUFF SIT IN YOUR HAIR. Also, she’s not a hair stylist bozo.
She said two minutes, and also mentioned depending on the tone or orange one, two or three teaspoons to shampoo
@@nz5988this only works for the darkish orange or mostly orange hair, for white or light you use purple.
Does this go on dry or wet hair?
Dry hair.
**Angie (the original video) said any type of shampoo could be used. I just watched it again to make sure and she never mentioned anything about needed a crappy shampoo with sulfates. (Some random girl who made a video after hers and didn’t give her credit mentioned that. So is that where you are getting this or did I miss something?)
Also, she never ever mentioned that you need to let the color and developer “sit” in order for it to “develop”. Where did you get that?
All she said was use a white shampoo so long as it is not sulfate free. Gel consistency is best but I saw another girl use BedHead which had a little blue in it and her color looked amazing.
Can y use whole box
Trying this
Where did I go wrong mine turned dark brown with dark gray 🤦♂️
Your hair is green
I noticed that too, lol. Still looks beautiful and I hear the green will fade fast just like the rest of the hair because it’s a rinsage.
The before colour looked better and more natural
im sooooo goin to try this tomorrow if my 2nd go of fanola no orange doesnt work lol ty ty ty
SAMEEEEE it’s 🍏
How long did you leave it in for?
NO MORE THAN 2 MINUTES.
You are an extremely beautiful woman.
That bird is weird..couldn't finish watching..upmost distraction
Green tinged...not flattering! Looked better before!
I wished she spoke clearly!
Nope.
5 mins I heard
No!!! No more than 2 minutes. I heard in another video that you basically apply it, wait another 1.5 minutes and rinse!!
