I feel like Minecraft’s pricing is super good as it has equal to if not more content than most $70 games.
Agreed. Inflation happens and Minecraft is a pretty big game now
Tbh, I personally wouldn't say it has more "content", it has more things you can DO with that content. Adding a set of new themed blocks takes a couple hours if we're being generous, and 70% of the blocks are entirely optional and you might not even ever use some of them. Of many of those blocks, most of them don't even have unique functionality, they're just decorative. Having said that, the ability to stick them together to build any structures you want allows you to play using them for as long as you want. Procedural generation of worlds also adds to that, because it guarantees you'll never play the same new game twice in a row unless you specifically choose to. Minecraft isn't a game with a high amount of content, it's a game that maximizes the potential of a medium amount.
yeah no, i live in argentina and for everyone here the price is absurd, most people pirate the game, and this applies to like every latin american country
@@Felix-ee9ze That's more an issue of price localization than anything. The price is very fair in places where it's economically feasible to buy games at full price, but in many places it simply isn't. PirateSoftware has some good shorts where he goes really into detail about price and language localization of his own game in Brazil, showing why doing it effectively led to 25% of his studio's earnings coming from there.
100% agree, that's why they get away with charging $10 more for people who don't know the difference, people think its worth it
As for the whole long drive thing, there is an American cultural tradition of the Road-trip. You pile into a car with a bunch of your friends, some snacks, and your favorite music and you turn the drive into a big party. The singalongs, conversations, stories, and general shenanigans make for some of my fondest memories with my friends. Granted that 12 hours is a really long time to drive, but if you can’t afford to fly to your destination then driving becomes not only the most affordable option but also a highly enjoyable one. I guess it just depends on the people you are traveling with.
In europe its usually cheaper to fly not because driving is expensive but because flying is cheap 5-50€
@@turtle-balloon5 $ for a flight is crazy low, how does the airlines even afford fuel for those flights.
@@citricmantis_543 it's likely subsidised by the EU 💀
Everything is so close together they just slingshot the plane into the air and let it glide to the destination.
In fairness to Minecraft Dungeons, you really should get the complete edition. Because the standard version is a little boring at least according to the Completionist.
Dungeons was a good game until they said they won’t be supporting it anymore like no more DLC no more events and updates.
@@sephirothangel2202 how does that make any sense? Just because they stopped updating it doesn't mean it's terrible????
@@raihanvarghese8553 when did I say “dungeons is terrible because they don’t update it anymore” Buddy I still play the game because I love Minecraft dungeons you gotta look at my comment I never said anything rude about it I’m just a bit sad how a game released in 2020 went so viral and popular only to be stop being supported by the creators.
@@sephirothangel2202 what does "Dungeons was a good game until they said they won't be supporting it anymore" mean then? And yeah, probably should've looked at the comment a bit further, sorry bout that. But that first clause still doesn't make sense.
@@raihanvarghese8553 nah your alright I meant was like this Dungeons had some good stuff to offer especially during season events like Halloween, winter and birthday events too but also skins and DLC’s with more stuff but they announced that there will no longer be anymore of that so no season events or DLCs nothing and it’s like kinda sad cause that game was fun
i feel like ibxtoycat hates driving
I like driving a lot! In busy cities or if you're driving on the highway for more than 20 minutes in a row it's either stressful or boring though lol. Had a lot of fun driving in Vegas sometimes!
@@toycati can see that
@@toycat Driving in busy cities SUCKS imo. But highway drives with next to no cars is bliss, but my favorite drives is driving down back country roads with no other cars, just nature and not much else. I just like nature and not worrying when I drive
Driving a cool car on some nice roads is fun but driving your daily driver on the highway is boring af
Toycat I usually agree w you on most everything except the driving thing. Yes it’s nice to be able to do your own thing while traveling but also I LOVE long drives! I get to spend a lot of time alone w music and my big bass sound system and it’s really the only time I ever go out and see the world around me. The freedom is immensely priceless imo
after hearing the copilot i just... i got no words to explain how bad that is
They literally took away what soul has left of Minecraft.
Custom super flats/ amplified would be amazing and honestly I'm surprised that wasn't a thing for tells and trails update
Peak District, you say? Just been there a week ago! Had a lovely walk from Edale to Castleton and took the train from Hope.
The view from the top of Mam Tor was amazing!
Great video!
For the Wax On, Wax Off achievement, I think the Trail Chambers will help balance it out. Yes you still need to get a bunch of wax, but you can find enough copper blocks in the Trial Chambers to make into each different block so you don't have to mine for as much copper. The only challenging blocks I can think of would be the copper trapdoors, and the doors maybe.
I think the bulbs are challenging 🙂
@@guitaekm That was another one I considered to be challenging; but you can find lots in the Trial Chambers
They should rename the stonecutter to cutter and add all the wood variants to it
Or just add a Woodcutter... Which could double as being a new villager job block, for a Lumberjack Villager or something.
@@lasercraft32 Nice idea, a lumberjack Villager would be pretty nice, especially if it offers different biome trees as his Master level block. (For example a taiga lumberjack offers sabannah trees, viceversa)
11:30 I think that your end goal for the Nether Challenge, should be to obtain a MAX Beacon. It's doable, it adds a layer of difficulty to it and honestly, knowing you play Bedrock Edition, even just beating the Wither (in a very easily destructible Environment) is going to be a big enough challenge thanks to that 2nd phase. If you do consider this as a challenge, I'd definitely love to see a video form of it like you did for your Superflat challenge as I live in Australia and can't watch Streams that'll be at about 4am for me lol
Nonetheless, love you videos, they're super informative and even though I just subbed today, I've been watching for at least a few months. Keep up the excellent work Toycat !
Edit: I just realised that Glass and/or Sand is impossible to obtain in the Nether so you could just claim the Nether Star as the ultimate goal (pretty much the same challenge) or you could enter the Nether with 5 Glass and just keep it in a chest. Nonetheless, the Wither fight in the Nether should be a great challenge
From the past three updates I think it’s going to be announced for any where between June 8th and the12th
I’m getting these numbers based on the release occurring within 72 hours of an Apple developer event
The event was announced for June 10th
From the first pre-release from last year to launch day it took a month or something, we had today the first prerelease patch. If they do things the same way they did, we're looking around a month from today. I hope it launches on the 7th though
I'm feeling like they are missing out on a few recipie ideas they could have added with the breeze rods, like where is the redstone contraptions for like a wind puzzle, like they had in Minecraft dungeons? Because I feel like it's not tricky enough.
Man, I'd love to see you do a pure-nether challenge! Hardcore optional, because personally, I've tried it myself (currently doing one now) and it's... well, maybe I've got a skill issue, but I need to start myself off with a recharge anchor every time ._.
Although, saying the most valuable thing you can acquire is a respawn anchor isn't quite right, because fighting the Wither is still possible, and even though you can't get glass for a beacon without a trip to the overworld, that Nether Star will still be quite the trophy imo (especially on Bedrock lmao)
Is it me or are previews always late on iOS, I have preview and it always takes a hot few hours for the new preview to reach my device. However on my computer it comes immediately.
On my Wii u that I had in 2016-2017, the tutorial world I played was TU31, now I'm trying to recreate it in my world but using playthrough videos to copy it will be hard so I hope they add it back.
EDIT: I downloaded the world and Imported it to Bedrock!!
You can put the update on a usb stick turn off Wi-Fi load the tutorial world, plug in usb stick and add the updates to hard drive.
always good to see a Toycat upload! Hope you have a great day Andrew!
I love transit and walking. Im 35 and I maybe still haven't ever driven a car. I tried once. The car didn't move and I cried.
Should've tried turning it off and on again
@@toycat I'll try that next time xD
"I know whats wrong with it, It ain't got no gas in it"
Lol I don't feel like as much of a disfunctional as I did a few minutes ago. Thanks for that
The go go juice in the vroom vroom machine go all fucky
finally someone else who agrees that a 12 hour drive is hell
What ever happened to the secret camel name tag Easter egg? The one where they said it had some effect on the camel’s ears? Was it revealed what it was? Was it even added at all?
Almost every year my family drives far away for vacation bc we can't afford plane tickets driving sometimes up to 17 hours, but bc of that we have seen rocky mountains, oceans, and deserts, all of which are unavailable near our home in central USA
i wish there were stone cutters for wood blocks because it's just that nice to have a 1:1 conversion
The issue with your transport argument is that getting somewhere via quicker means (train, plane, etc) than car usually costs a lot of money (which is the same thing as spending time, fundamentally). You're always trading a lot of "time", it's just that in the car-alternative examples you're not the one driving
I place stonecutters everywhere, honestly one of the best utility blocks they've added
It may be crazy but I love driving, I think that spending a whole day on the road appreciating the world can be really fun
the end goal of a nether only world would probably be a beacon or netheright or potions or one of every block that you can get in a museum or something.
Most valuable thing you can get in the nether is a respawn anchor? 10:51 A nether exclusive suvival is fun because you get witherskulls and have a really unique wither fight in the nether which is the ultimate test of minecraft skill. The best item you can get is a nether star not just a respawn anchor toycat. Nether survival is the most fun way to play imo.
Since we got add ons Minecraft ain’t ever gonna make an update related to the same theme as an add on (for example we got an farm add on so now we’ll never get a farm update )
That’s not true, Addons/mods have no impact on if an idea will make it to vanilla one day or not as they are community made and share no relation as to what Mojang might want to add or not.
I heavily doubt it. I'm sure theyve added swamp related add ons before 1.19
@@Superstarzs2000 why would they add something for free if they could make us pay for it wouldn’t adding a farm update just make buying the add on less enticing me personally I don’t trust mojang to do what the community wants I believe they will do whatever gets them the most money
@@snappedtwitch7361 They didn’t make the Farm Addon for crying out loud, Mojang honestly doesn’t even control the marketplace that much besides promote stuff, it’s all handle with Microsoft and the 3rd parties that are actually creating these addons and even then Microsoft can’t stop Mojang from making a certain type of update even if it conflicts with an addon.
@@Superstarzs2000 just wait young fortniter
8:10 you get across my whole country in like 3-4 hours lol😅
that hardcore animation thing is literally fire
i like it
The only reason I won’t get a stonecutter is because I play modded and there are better options you can get quite quickly, such as Refined Storage or ore duping.
I live in North Carolina, and have made many trips to Florida and back. The thing my family and I realized is that the wear and tear on the car for the 10 hour drive is likely as expensive in the long run as just flying there every time we go. It's about a 2 hour flight with under an hour drive on both ends. Let's just say that planes are your friends.
If the wear and tear is that expensive you have an awefull car, planes are worth it because of fuel and your time.
minecraft's pricing also varies per region. i have a card with a Ukrainian address and one with a Jordanian address. with a Jordanian one i would have to pay around 20 USD (after sale) to get Minecraft (the base version, not the deluxe version), but with a Ukrainian address I could buy an account for just under 10 USD.
Thankful our family did the wax on/off achievement already because that will be a lot more tedious than it currently is. I still need to make a mule among other “easy” things but that is a task for future me and isn’t going to get harder by putting it off.
And I don’t know much to trust the stats on game completion etc. because on Microsoft Mahjong (the PC one, not to be confused with “Mahjong by Microsoft” the App which now has the Minecraft theme option and the percentages make sense) it says only 1.52% have actually completed a puzzle. Just how? lol.
Dude, I'm going to drive from Kansas to New Hampshire in the summer... for fun. Let that blow your mind.
For fun is definitely a partial lie tho
@@toycat Pff, not at all. It's a 24 hour drive and last two times I went 18 and 20 hours straight respectively.
6:45 releasing HOW MANY videos!? A DAY?!?! that is absolutely bonkers and i advise you to tread cautiously - it sounds like a recipe for burnout. good luck
8:13 I actually enjoy 12+ hour drives (but I've been from Wisconsin to Texas in 1 trip)
however this isn't fun after multiple times imo 😂
I’m really considering getting Minecraft legends now, but I have played it before when I had a free trial of game pass and I didn’t think it was amazing, but I only played the multiplayer mode
We really need a wood cutter to go with the stone cutter.
12:40 as someone who uses nether bricks as roofing material for large buildings, the stonecutter is a godsend.
L take on driving though. Gotta find yourself fun roads to drive on, fun vehicles to drive in, and fun people to drive with.
Great videos Toycat! The Ultraflat series was really helping me get through long days at work. I can't believe how fat you got and cant wait for hopefully another series like that!
Toycat you're not alone, long trips suck. Even without driving just taking public transport for 2 hours is such a waste of time.
13:40 Thanks for reminding me, almost lost it
Thank goodness about the golden apples XD I was so confused
Oh yea I always have a stone cutter In my main area, storage room, crafting room, wherever I'm building and just for safe measures a couple in a crafting utility shulker box
Thank you for another helpful and informative video. 😊
They've also released a Forza Tank hoodie in the character creator items for free if anyone is interested.
QnA Saturday Question:
There is a modpack called Re-Console for Java Edition. It emulates the console edition experience with modern Minecraft. If you add the Bedrockify mod to that modpack, would you switch over to Java? I mean the mod itself is really good at recreating the console edition menu interface + you can use controllers also.
Just got my driving permit, can't wait to drive for hours!
Already got tons of tuff. Geting honey comb in order. Kinda wish java would get the custome items. They are cute but at least I'm getting them on bedrock incase I use that one for anything.
The AI voice on minecraft is super scary to think about.
If they made blaze rods obtainable by smelting breeze rods, would that overpowered?
It's cute Toycat hangs out with Harrison
how long do you think it will take Mojang to fix the bedrock mobile glitches
I'd love to see a nether survival run! It's my favourite challenge! I don't care for hardcore tho.
9:30 I don’t think anyone is really ever excited for a long drive, but often times the destination outweighs however many hours are spent to get there, which makes it feel less terrible by comparison 😌
The longer the drive, the better the destination has to be to make up for it. If it took 200 hours to drive to a friend's house then it's going to be hell, no matter who I'm going to see.
That said a lot of people in the comments here do like 12 hour road trips, but I wonder if they're the one driving or just a passenger.
When the trails update comes out can you make a Review and rate the update like on a scale of 1 to 10 or whatever?
I've been playing Minecraft since the beginning. I remember I tried a "pirated" version first and I paid for it straight away, and for my sister, and cousin, and even a friend of my sister 😅 that's how good it is... I'm still playing and I have minecraft on my phone and on the switch because even if I don't like those versions, I like having them for on the go and Minecraft can take my money in a blink at this point. I think I paid like 15€ originally, that's like a euro per year paid. The Sims have taken much more money from me and they can't get the game to work properly. Minecraft is more than a game is my comfort place.
I would rather walk everywhere rather than driving, which potentially takes up 3 times more time. But if I were to walk to work, I'd spend about 8 hours to get to the edge of my hometown before I'd have to turn around and walk back, not accounting for any pitstops or rest breaks needed. I'll settle for the hour drive.
I've just checked and you were the 16th person I subscribed to, the date was Nov 25, 2018. Although Mr.IsYes if you see this it might only say 2-3 years because that's how long my subscriptions have been public
They do have a tutorial world for redstone
Speaking of June 1st. If anyone on Minecraft Bedrock missed out on the Pride Mouth cape (like me) last Pride Month, then this time around, you could get it. Hopefully.
Man I’m just waiting for hardcore to release on bedrock
Usually before September
I've driven 18 hours in a single day before. For me I use it as a time to chill out with music I enjoy while my hands are kept busy. Driving for hours in a city sucks, but highways are pretty chill in comparison, there's no stops along them. But yeah, for folks who rely on visual and interactive entertainment I can imagine it being terrible.
i was hoping for something related to the movie.
not steam the ultimate edition is displayed as a DLC ...
As an American i agree with with your opinion on driving thank you lol but road trips have been a part of our culture for awhile the post war American culture in the 50's is weird
So toycat any plans to join multiplayer series in the future
I feel like they should just add the 15 year add on items to the game
Perhaps they should release 1.21 on the last day of their birthday!
Toycat, you’re killing me with these thumbnails 😭
I just want to know the date when it’s confirmed
never thought toycat would talk about forza however brief it was 😂
He has a video where the background for the whole thing was Forza gameplay this was 7 years ago

The video made it seem like golden apples would be made with blocks instead of ingots. At least I thought that's what you meant, too lol.
I’m a bedrock player and I’m so excited to play hardcore
12+ hours is crazy but I used to have to drive 1 hr just to go to the nearest Walmart/McDonald’s ETC
There probably driving to vacation not for fun.
Also McDonalds ain’t worth an hour drive, they’re worth a 15 minute drive max. What’s the point of fast food if it takes an hour to get there and a hour back
All i want is crossplay java and bedrock (and also be able to ad friends and play at distance with java too)
They’d have to just do better together 2 Wich neither community wants.
On the road to Minecraft: Tricky Trials!
When I downloaded the free demo of Minecraft, there was no tutorial. I don't even know what to do. It was only when I played Minecraft on Android did I know what to do.

Eyes of ender shouldn't be obtainable from strongholds.
yeah i agree, what would be the point of getting blaze rods and pearls for eyes when you get them from vaults?
True
@Alexminecrafter1 trial Chambers can be really hard and its not garantied to give you eyes of ender and you still need 12 Max to open the portal and to find it could take even more
@@Potato_Man1920 Trial chambers aren't hard, they're very easy to cheese thanks to monster infighting.
If eyes of ender could be obtained from there, then that negates the major purpose of both an entire structure and dimension.
If they could be obtained from there but not frequently thanks to RNG and vaults, then the structure at the stronghold would be pointless since it's not worth it since you'd have to finish off by going to the nether anyway.
Either way it's bad design
I think it would be good if you could get one or two. It strengthens the link between eyes and strongholds, and in the off chance that a new player stumbled into one they would have no idea what to do with the portal.
I hope they release 1.21 in June 9 because its vacation:)
