Wait, you mean to tell me that I've been able to prevent 5 trillion ghasts from spawning in my nether for years now, and just didn't lol
a quick switch to peaceful mode and back to normal also works
Ok.
@@Aweh_Electrohardcore bugrock is soon, so perm bugrock hard mode
The only reason I never colonized the nether is because of the ghasts, its over for them
Actually no, not really. It's more complicated than that. Technically you could but it didn't match Java. Because on bedrock even if you changed your simulation distance to 12 mobs would only spawn 128x96. Meaning mobs always spawned 2 chunks closer on bedrock. But I pointed this out as a reason that the nether is so hard, in the bug post over a year ago and now we have 128x128.
I forgot that Simulation distance can reduce the distance of where mobs can spawn.
Well what else would it do tho
@@Jimmyer_Qwaffect the distance where mobs are able to do anything at all, whether they're already spawned or not
Yeah...
@@SawBSketch ok
“One of the best sources to follow if you want Minecraft bedrock videos that are intended for real adult human beings”
Perfectly summarized why I love this channel. You have taught me so much about how to play this game and you do it all without screaming and stupid editing ❤ never change, you’re a hero baby
didnt realize nether spawns were a bug. always played on sim distance 4 cuz all my farms work specifically on Sim4, i just thought the nether was alot harder for some reason
In 5 years of bedrock PS4/5, I have only once went to the Nether (I largely play for the creative) and I basically got spawn killed. And it wasn't even a bad spawn.
...yeah, I'm going to keep playing on Sim4 for my over world XP farms. It works better.
7:04 don't worry, you can only put it up to 8 on switch
And then it doesn’t want to run 😅
(I always keep it on that, though)
Edit: Oops, I was thinking about render distance. I think it still applies, though (but I tend to have it on 4 or 6).
Mojang should at least put more "What is this?" buttons for these features/options so we can know what it does.
Can be helpful.
Yeah. I would put a question mark button next to every setting.
I very much appreciate having minecraft videos that don't feel like they're intended for children. Thank you for the content for real adult human beings
3:40 for mobile and pc players-bedrock tweaks texture pack on google gives option tk remove pumpkin overlay, and the pack is fully customisible
i always wondered what simulation distance is
If I'm not mistaken, realms run on sim 4. As far as I can tell, I can't adjust that, so just gotta cope.
Yeah jesus christ. This is terrible. I thought im just bad at using a controller lol
R.I.P us I guess.
Minecraft is SO Powerful! My friend is in the hospital. i showed him a week ago, you could cook diamond ore in a furnace after cooking coal ore, with itself. hope he gets well soon.
Can you explain that a little more?
I don’t quite get it. Do you mean; you can smelt coal ore using coal ore, then smelt diamond ore without a fuel?
@@Tyler_Skye77i mean you can cook coal ore with coal and use the cooked coal to cook the diamond ore.
@@MoonieLovegood
Ah, ok. I get it then. Thanks 😊
How does this symbolize Minecraft as powerful?
@@miqa_lmao you wouldn't get it
You just like it cause it's a cat face, it's not that much easier to see lol
The Tricky Trials soundtrack was relased on the Minecraft channel. Sounded pretty good. Currently wondering which tracks will be on the three new music discs.
Nice video
*Turns Day Counter On:*
*Day Counter:* Too many days to count!
10/10 feature...
There’s no way you’ve played for 90k days in your world
yep... had one job lol 🤦♂
Shhh I like being a fake adult human watching this, don’t kick me out!
I figured higher simulation distance would mean more mobs able to spawn and stay loaded so good to know I should actually keep distance up even though I finally got sniper dual. It was so frustrating to think “that’s the furthest I can get a skeleton to be and not despawn playing alone, what else can I do?” Until oh yeah extra simulation distance.
Can’t wait for the Minecraft preview video
Recently got into a fatal car crash.. Then I remembered about this Minecraft setting that I enabled. And now I'm alive! Thank you ibxtoycat
fun fact bedrock does have a debug thing just go into settings then go to the creator tab see all the things you can turn on like the things about the Content Log File and that can help with debugging addons and has not a lot of use for other people. (The ability to copy Coordinate might be the most useful as it enables the UI to do that)
Toycat you forgot to add that F8 toggles the Paper Doll in the corner
FINALLY THE NETHER SPAWNS Dx I thought I was going crazy.
I know casual players never touched the simulation distance toggle, I always maxed it out without really know what it did
5:50 if we started taking advantage of the neather mobs bug they will fix it before we go to bed tonight. But if it makes us upset and ruins the game. Its literal bedrock in the game.
I'm kinda late here but I feel like I should mention that increasing the simulation distance can completely break slime spawning, regardless of whether it's a swamp or a slime chunk
Actually, that many mobs spawning in the nether is intended behavior, because that's what the trailer for the nether update shows at the end.
Pick block does not have a key binding by default. It is hands down the most useful control for every aspect of the game
I always have my brightness set to 0.
Makes torches valuable, and overall a better and more spooky experience.
I actually really dislike how many people have their brightness seet to 100, I mean come on.. challenge yourself!
Placing torches everywhere is just tedious
@@49272 I get that.
But the game is already tedious, I just like my minecraft being more spooky than other people.
And in my opinion, the game looks better with brightness set to low.
For the enderman, all you have to do is make sure your cross hair does not intersect with their head
11 minutes ago 700 views? Fell off toycat.

twenty minutes with only 1 400 views Toycat fell off
Farming and Redstone about to be broken with this One
11:24 So when does the "too many to count" message start?
this is why i always set sim. distance to max
HoT tAkE: i ACTUALLY kind of like how in the nether, mobs spawn in massive numbers. Sure, occasionally, ghasts can be slightly annoying, but if you have good gear and good food items, it isn't that bad, but I can see it being a LOT harder if you have little or no armor, especially if you play hard difficulty. Still can be a fun challenge though.
I remember when I stopped getting jump scare killed by creeper when I changed the simulation distance
They kept spawning behind me it was unplayable at times
i love how no one notices "f1- brrom brrom cars :D" 11:27
Super Nice
You are the goat
Hi y’all I need some help with Minecraft bedrock in pc! I’ve been playing bedrock on pc recently and I just updated Minecraft and now my pc does not use the GPU at all when running Minecraft and gets like 12 fps. I’ve tried going into graphic settings and putting Minecraft on high performance but it did nothing. I’ve looked online what else to do and all the tutorials are for Java and I have no idea what to do now.
minecraft is more cpu based, so it could be that. i’m not a pc pro XD
Simulation distance also makes mibs chase you for longer distances to lol
Okay this why you you should play minecraft Java with some of the main points:
1. Survival is better.
Now let me explain survival mode in minecraft Java is better then bedrock for a couple of reasons one of them is for technical minecraft players. Technical minecraft players are those players that play the game in a very precise way for example you love building huge automatic farms that can get you heaps of loot trust me minecraft Javas red stone mechanics are way better and also the game is way more balanced when building these huge farms. While in bedrock it is almost to easy and gamebreaking. Now another factor is the code Java itself the way the gameplay feels and the way entities work it brings more life to the game as well as the controversial combat mechanics. They are very good though and adds to the survival experience. The way they implemented the stats for damage on swords and axes can also make multiplayer more interesting and strategic based.
2. Updates are better
What I mean by this point is whenever there is another major game update the game developers love the Java version and will always prioritise it. Java will always get the latest and greatest update first and you can also play pre released versions which are called snapshots and get early acces to the update before it is even ready. Now this point in my opinion is very important because most gamers love getting their game updated and what better way to do so then getting it first.
3. Mods
Now I know you have probably heard this like a billion times and if your a vanilla survival player you probably aren’t that interested but hear me out minecraft has probably implemented mods in the best way I have ever seen any game do before this is probably due to the basic look of the game but basically you can play something called mod packs theses packs by the way are completely free and also contain hundreds of mods which can change the game in ways you can’t imagine. Now I personally am not really a mod player I mainly like normal survival but that doesn’t mean you can’t use mods. You could even just add a couple of mods to your single player world that can spice up your vanilla experience such as more ores and new types of tools and weapons there are also mods that add a ton of new bosses to the main game which can make late game minecraft more appealing so even after killing the enderdragon there is more to conquer I will tell you the possibilities are endless. Now you could add something as minute as a new enchantment or change how enchantments work completely. Now your probably thinking of mods are so great why does bedrock not have any well the main reason why they don’t have mods is because mods need flexibility meaning you need to be able to access to files and this means you need a computer.
Now in conclusion this is why I strongly believe you will enjoy minecraft Java edition so much more now I am speaking on behalf of bedrock since I have played bedrock since alpha since minecraft lite if anyone remembers that so I know bedrock better then a lot of people. And I understand it has its own experience so if you enjoy it good for you 👍. But the reason why I never played Java is because I just never had a gaming pc. And let me tell you, you won’t go back. ( ps: there is many more points I could’ve mentioned eg. servers, skins ,ability to play older versions, free resource and texture packs, redstone quari-connectivity,better duals pvp, optimization mods, hundreds of custom game clients,……. However I wanted to keep it short to some clear easy main points thank you for reading. )Also another very important thing is to make sure you can play with friends obviously if you and your friends don’t have a gaming pc then you don’t have a choice and can always enjoy what bedrock has to offer.
I⁸I li 80-90 8 I 8th would 8th
11:30 F1 - Broom Broom Cars :D
I didn't know there was a mob spawning bug, i thought bastions had become incredibly more difficult suddenly
bruh, all i do is take a simple custom homemade resource pack, take to pumpkin overlay texture and make it clear
You can set the gui scale multiplier to -2 on mobile
My big regret is not having pick block button on mobile 😢
I think the switch doesn't even let you go higher than 8 sim distance
Minecraft must provide freedom to players, so if you want to use F3 - you should be able to, if you dont want to - you can just ignore its existence. Jeb can cry about it
4 sim distance is the bomb for a ghast farm. I kill 2 and 3 more show up immediately lol
7:17 Iphone 7 got updates discontinued in 2020
Are you implying we need to take cold showers (true) but also I personally like caves to be pitch black to simulate real caves, like where's the light coming from with the brightness turned up. Guess I feel similar about the end? Would be nice if there was a moon or something to give light.
Peaceful mode:
Underrated comment
You know, I have more important question. How in the hell do you get your game so laggy in nether with rtx 4080 super at 1080p with only 4 render distance. I know that java is poorly optimized but bedrock is on another level at this point
I never even knew what simulation distance meant
The ";:" key will also toggle raytracing on pc!
I wish i could use controller on bedrock on my pc but for some reason when navigating menus the crosshair doesnt show up so i have to go box by box. Irs really frustrating
there's an option in the controller settings called 'hide controller cursor'. try checking to make sure that's disabled.
Something the Switch doesn’t need, fewer spawns
I did get something from this video
looks like someone has been playing a lot of hardcore recently and made a compilation of all the things he know about how to survive 😂
"Days played: Too many to count!"
Lol
Make a video about bedrock anarchy servers
I play with pretty high fov, at 80.40
Lol thought sim was rendering distance im always on 6 or 8 now i know😂
1:24 usually my FOV is set to 90
0 tick mushroom farm using those chests
Outro joke a bit too cerebral to really be funny, but splash text pretty funny, so 6/10 overall. I really need to start increasing my simulation distance… 😯
The chests are just entering and exiting the fourth dimension
Yeah, ima nerd
best thing you can do to improve minecraft is switch to java
i keep my simulation distance the same as my render distance
🙏
cool
Erm, I’m still bleeding out.
so I can find this later 3:13
🎉🎉
is bro lagging with a 4080 super 💀
What happened to you?!😭
And people constantly defend mojang. I would like to heal when i eat please. Not wait 45 seconds in a hole.
The amount of times i have dug through the settings to try and get nd something that Minecraft (specifically bedrock) wont let me change is frustrating, example - there is no liniarity adjustment for controllers. (I.e you cant have a convex/concave curve for the movement of the joysticks) The only thing ot lets you change is sensitivity. There is no dead zone options either. And, of course the option topause WHEN THE GAME IS PAUSED doesnt exist, even in single player.
My goto FOV is 90
Biggest L is how bad beacon beams are hoed in bedrock edition
bro I lowkey thought everyone knew this... I should of said something sooner (I always turn simulation distance to 6-8)
Eyeroll
I ALSO thought most people knew this. I’m kinda confused how a bunch of people had no idea. Like, do the same people know that more entities can cause lag? Maybe these people know fewer facts about the game, in general? Idk 🤷🏽♀️
@@js8qp2pwisos bro keep crying 🤣 why are you salty
World peace starts with bringing the gamma slider to Bedrock
what is this???
I always saw the F3 menu as "cheating" and an annoying way to know your coords. Since it is available in vanilla, it is not illegal to use and get an advantage, but it still feels cheap if you ask me.
Yay!!
I was the 1,000th like
Theres no such word as "leafs"... its "leaves"
Unless it’s as a verb.
Ex; “she leafs (flips) through the pages”, or; “ the tree leafs (sprouts its leaves) as the Spring begins”.
hello
Only affects players playing on 4 simulation distance
Ha HA
Your playing on a REALM!
