I see the Athletics future as a brand to represent all of Northern California. They have green color in logo !!! A Vegas move would be a disaster plain and simple.
All of my seats this season for Oakland games will be in Diamond Level, including the final home series of the season, which, as I am typing this, John Fischer guaranteed that this will be the final season of the MLB in Oakland. Athletics supporters deserve better than this. Also, I loved the Cody Rhodes reference in the title. It seems like everyone is finishing their stories except for him.

Let me say that while you aren't lucky to lose your team I want you to know that the Giants and their fans are the best in the world. That is not even up for debate. I guarantee you will enjoy being a Giants fan everyday because people in San Francisco first and foremost love baseball.
I will say my view of how I see Giants fans has changed drastically and I respect the ones who helped my call for help to United The Bay. I appreciate and understand what you’re saying but it’s also a bit hard to change and support an organization that had helped with them moving to Sacramento. We shall see how things go

Not defending Oakland. But in this situation The A’s are the ones who walked away from a deal in Oakland. The A’s are saying Oakland wouldn’t give in but they did and were a couple million short and they chose to take less money from Las Vegas is very more money in Oakland.

@gamer_athletics Hey Man! I'll try to make this as short as possible. First, I am a life long A's Fan myself HOWEVER I am not local (like you). I am actually in/from Indiana! So I definitely see and can empathize with you and your pain. I'll be the frist to admist though It of course doesn't effect me like it would you or someone in the 510. Again, I am all in on my fellow local fans and supporting you! That being said, your videos are great and SO important to fans like me that can't go to the games (as easily and as cheap as you can). I've been to a few away games but it would be a dream to go to the Coliseum (in all it's glory lol) because it IS historical nontheless. I guess my point is it SUCKS, and I know everyone wants to stick it to Fisher (and I am right there with you!) The part I get torn about (when it comes to showing up/supporting etc.) is those kids (and that's what most of them are) kids on the field. No matter what happens this year, next year, any year - those kids DESERVE to be supported, cheered on and just because of a shitty owner I feel they are getting neglected in that area. Anyways - thank you for these videos. It gives someone who can't be there a tiny feeling of what it's like and just that little bit is amazing! (Side note - I sent a video of Glen and Ray answering a question I submitted in Facebook a few years back to the PR team. I wanted them to pass it along to Glenn (before he was fired). And they offered to send me some "items". I did get a few things, an A's sanitizer bottle, some stickers, and an LGBTQ rainbow fanny pack lol. Better than nothing). But I couldn't even imagine getting a ball, a photo, etc. VERY envious! Thanks again for all your work and videos!

And I see where you’re coming from about the players. The players know why we are doing what we are doing and most have our back knowing we love and support them just not the Ownership. And other players just simply do not care.
Which is why I don’t really feel ass bad for them. At the end of the day those guys are making millions as well. This stops when John Fisher is out of baseball, Oakland keeps the name and colors, or Oakland gets a expansion
@@gamer_athletics Agree 100% on everything you said! Just one thing I wanted to add about the players. MOST of the players (because of Fisher) are young, rookies, and aren't making much. Granted, I know the min is almost $600k - more than any of us make lol. BUT, for them (most of them) they spent years in the minor league system where WE actually make more than them. Hell in A, and some AA they have to stay with host families! I look at it like college, they have to hopefully get a good job to pay for the years they didn't get crap. Those are the one's I feel for the most (because they aren't guaranteed to even make $1mil - they are still TRYING to get there). And that's why or those are the ones I am glad you are there to support the most. The ones with the $1mil + contracts - TOTALLY get it. I know too for you it's walking a VERY VERY THIN line. I know you want to be there, you want to support them and at the same time not give a penny to Fisher (too bad your situation in this video with the free tickets in diamond couldn't happen every day lol perfect storm!). But yea - just always made it hard for me too because there ARE good people and players that don't deserve to be thrown under the bus but when their boss is an asshole, who suffers ya know? I mean there are the employees and workers at the Coliseum, within the A's Org as well (the lower paying job people I mean of course). It's just a shitty storm no matter which way you look. That's why I accept that different people will handle it different ways. I'm not one to tell someone they should or shouldn't go to the games. That said, I can thank/appreciate people like you when you do go to games and at the same time support you when you maybe do a boycott! Thanks for taking the time to read and respond as well. We're bound by Green and gold in our blood and for that we are a family!
