      This is definitely a more advanced pattern, and you'll need to be comfortable with many crochet techniques to successfully make it. While it would be wonderful if we could show every pattern start to finish, we simply don't have the resources and time to produce that many and that long of videos on a weekly basis. Sorry about that.

    Wow! This is the nicest use of a front post I've ever seen. I really like how only the sc row is the cc color. Not the usual two row stripes like the ugly Christmas sweater I made for a friend one year. Oh, it was garish. The brightest red and green I could find. And....because of the "craft" yarn I used, it was so stiff before washing that it could stand on its own! 🤣 _THIS pattern is NOT that!!!_ Many thanks to Sati for a gorgeous design. 💕

    Hey-hey Chandi!
    So you inspiring me to start knitting. I can crochet already. :) This is my motto: "One stitch at a time." Even only one stitch a day .That's alright! Since I have my little son here I knit 2 raw per day and my wonderful Sonder shawl grows everyday a little. Thank you so much! Hearing this motto from you was sooooo cool! Have a nice day!

    Hi Chandi! You featured this lovely sweater last week and I came back to try it again since I bought your luster sport yarn specifically for this sweater but it looks like many of us are getting stumped by Row 4 and Row 6 (as evidenced by Ravelry and RUclips comments) and are reluctantly giving up cause the way the stitches are landing at the corners and the stitch counts seem to be incorrect (I have the updated version of pattern). Perhaps you could do a video as to how to just work the corners of this sweater? I think if you did we could all enjoy making this sweater and finally having the joy of showing it off! 🥰

    Hi Chandi! I have a question regarding the gauge. I am a pretty advanced crocheter but never make garments so this is throwing me off. It says 16 sts in 16 rounds = 4inches.
    So I make 16 sts, join, work the pattern for 16 rows/rounds and when blocked that piece should measure 4 inches across? Because mine is looking small or should I not be joining the foundation row? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I want to get going on this amazing sweater. Btw the yarn is fabulous!!

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  2 года назад

      I would not count the foundation row. Since you're repeating Rounds 3-6 (in the first section) as the established pattern, I would compare your gauge in those repetitive rounds to the listed gauge, and see if that gets you closer. I hope that helps a bit.

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  8 месяцев назад

      That's not a yarn that I've worked with, but I believe it's worsted weight. Since this design used sport-weight yarn, you might find the worsted weight a bit too heavy. The best way to know, however, is to work a gauge swatch to determine if you can make gauge with the yarn that you want to use.

      @@ExpressionFiberArts just to clarify...does the gauge working in pattern mean to DC first row, sc second row. On third row you dc (sdc if first stitch of row), FPtreb in next st 2 rows down....then alternating stitches across, and alternating rows 3&4 till you work the gauge amount of rows?

    OK, so this is completely off topic, but was wondering if the North DK was a limited edition base or if there would be more colors coming?

    I cannot handle any type of wool, even when it’s a blend. Feels wonderful to the touch, but when I try on the garments, I find it irritating. What other type of yarn would you recommend?

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  2 года назад

      Look for yarns made of cotton, silk, linen, bamboo, camel, or alpaca. Of course, synthetic fibers are also an option. We're bringing back our Seacoast Fingering soon, and you might like it. It's a blend of pima cotton, baby alpaca, and polyamide. If you can tolerate alpaca, then our Alpaca Silk DK is also a great option.

    Hi amazing!!

      @ExpressionFiberArts  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Natalia, thank you for your message. Have you downloaded the full written instructions for this design yet? You can find it here (the link is also given in the description box below the video): www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/pebbled.html
      Our tutorials are not meant to show how to work the full pattern, we only show parts that we feel need more visual help. Round 2 of the pattern is just double crochet stitches in each of the 68 FSC made in Round 1. I hope this helps. If you have any further questions about that pattern please reach out to us via the contact form at www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/
      Thanks and have a lovely day! 💙
