    Hi, Sylvia! Very nice. This would make a great cover-up if stitched a bit longer in just the mesh pattern. You make it look so easy and doable. Thank you - Paula

    Love it!!! ❤ it's a great pattern. I have never made sleeves the way . Also, I never have done ext single crochet. The beginning of your video was blurry..not sure if you can see that on your end. It was really difficult to watch. I did let it play and listened to it, was making me cross-eyed, lol🤪 Thank you for all your hard work.

      Yikes. Yes, it is blurry at the start of the tutorial portion. It did improve fairly quickly but not quick enough for your poor eyes. So sorry! I hope you watched all the way through.

      I did see that I guess what I meant was what is considered a small, medium etc. Is it your bust measurement? If so what bust measurement is a small, etc. Sorry for being such a newbie. You probably think I'm crazy. Appreciated your prompt previous response.
      @@CrazyCoolCrochet

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  10 месяцев назад

      @@flannel3315 Consider the sizing to be similar to a store bought size small, med, etc. Don't over think it. And keep in mind that all sizing is to be considered an approximation as personal tension, yarn used and hook used will greatly affect the outcome. If you use the same yarn and hook but use a different tension than I do, it might turn out a bit bigger or smaller. This is why I hesitate to give exact measurements as you are asking for. If it helps, very generally speaking, I would say a Size small here is about a 34 bust. But don't take that to the bank. LOL

    For all us newbies out here, the ounces don't tell us how many balls of yarn we need to make the sweater, I wish I knew because I would order it and start on it.

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  2 месяца назад +1

      Hi Newbie. The reason I don't use the number of skeins is because the vast majority never use the same yarn that I use in the pattern. By giving ounces and/or yards, people can use whatever yarn they are going to use and be able to figure out how many skeins to get. If you do happen to want to use the same yarn, you can go to the Hobby Lobby website and see how many ounces are in the skein and do the math. Also, yarns are routinely discontinued, so again, having the ounces rather than number of skeins can be used with any yarn. I hope this helps.

    I am making this sweater and was wondering, is there any reason why I can't just close off the middle secion of the yoke/sleeve at the middle once the appropriate length is reached, then just contimue on and add those stitches again and do up the same number of rows as the first half? This would avoid having to have a seam across the shoulder.

      Hello again! At the very beginning of the video I say I used a #3 yarn. The detail regarding the amounts is in the description area below the video. You need to manually open up that description box. This takes from 16 - 28 ounces depending on the size. Again, more detail is below the video.
