Taylor! You have got to build a pond, and stock it with fish. My grandpa had 175 acres and he built two. Your kids will loooove fishing! It’s a great way to bond with your family. Sophia! Build yourself a little goldfish/koi pond with a little waterfall lol tons of flower beds and vegetable gardens! Ugh yall are living my dream.

My bestfriend lives on a family property with a man made pond and I second this!we have jet skis and boats a tire swing and doc!I've been friends with her since I was 15\16 and am now 24 and we take my kids to her "beach":)))
I just want to say this. I absolutely love how simple this is. I love all of the detail and how “homey” it feels. It’s not too extravagant and it gives y’all time to really enjoy where you are now and gives y’all a chance to create your actual dream home on the same property. It won’t feel rushed either. It’s so beautiful. I just love how content y’all are with such a simple life. ♥️
I'm not huge into watching influencers videos and have just seen a few of yours but I just have to say thank you for buying a realistic home and doing a realistic, thrifty makeover. It's actually achievable unlike most the homes influencers show.❤
That's quite a transformation! It went from a dark, cabin style feeling to a bright and welcoming home. It doesn't even look like the same place. I suddenly feel inspired to freshen up my place too, with a new clean coat of paint. What a difference! I absolutely love it, especially the hydrangeas and touches of blue! The driveway lined with trees is gorgeous as well! I love that you show the rooms that are still a work in progress. I have rooms like that too.Thanks for sharing your story. You have been through a lot of changes in a short amount of time. I applaud your hard work, smart choices and amazing progress. I'm watching again!

Okay… Soph’s style is grandma chic! But I love it!!! It’s very old farmhouse shabby chic! Then all the property you have, you can do so many things! The porch is beautiful! I love everything about this! You can do SOO much stuff with that much property! I’m really happy for you both and this fun new adventure!

I really like what you’ve done with the place! So cute! I like how Sophia’s tastes have decorated the place. Previous decor choices seemed mostly white, but you gave this house character & charm with your color choices. Well done!
I just want to add, that they say you should be married 10 years before you build a house together. So whenever it happens, make sure you have some good counseling to go to, whether that’s your parents, pastors, friends, or counselors, talk everything out.
I’m OBSESSED with the classic grand-millennial/chinoiserie style! It’s so gorgeous and timeless! I would get a good sized shed and insulate it + run electrical to it and use it as onsite storage just so it’s easier on y’all to put things in, get things out. Plus, when you finally get your forever home built, it can be utilized as a play house, a school house (if you lean towards homeschool), a place to watch football games, etc. Until then, I think this home is perfect for y’all! It’s not always about having more rooms than you need or a bathroom for everyone but the love within the walls that make it a home.

Going from a 5 bedroom to a 2 that’s a huge jump. Are you guys not planning anymore children? All our children are grown and out, but we still have our 4 bedroom for our grand babies. Building a larger home there is so exciting! So proud of you guys ❤❤❤❤❤
