Giddy with the success of knitting my first sweater several years ago, I bought some Lang Canapa hemp yarn in the now discontinued blush pink for a nice summer sweater, and promptly hit a brick wall. I loved how that yarn looked, and hated working with it so much. It looked sloppy when I tried to knit it, it felt like trying to knit with high test fishing line, I started it and frogged it so many times, and I was determined not to buy any more yarn until it became a sweater. Well, it's finally almost a sweater now, and I love it. It's a beautiful pattern for that yarn, it just wanted to be crocheted instead, so this will be my first crocheted sweater. I bought the pattern on Ravelry and it's been very clear, but it was nice to have the video to check when I got to the front neck. Thanks so much for helping me put this yarn to good use.
Love this top. I might have a go at making it. I made your Kiah cardigan for my sister. She loves it. Thank you for your videos, very much appreciated.
I’m currently working through your Palmar pullover with the picot mesh stitch! I reeeally love how that pattern doubles as a swim coverup. I’ll have to add this newest top to my list of “must makes” lol
I love this pattern. I just realized this stitch is the same as The Mountain Sunrise blanket - which I made one and currently working on my second. I’m also working on this particular pattern as well. Thank you! ~Sage
I just finished making this. It's my first crocheted wearable and it's far from perfect, but it came out way better than I thought it would and I love it. I made mine in the lilac color. Thank you for a great tutorial!
Love this stitch! I’m almost done. I used a different yarn but I would like to order the kit and see how it comes out in that yarn because it looks so nice! I will say that I would classify this pattern as intermediate or even advanced. Stitches were kinda hard to see and I definitely had to refer to both the video and written pattern a lot!! (I have 20 years experience) Thanks for a great garment!!!!❤
Mine looks sooo much wider then what it’s suppose to be but haven’t sewed together yet so we’ll see! Just completely the Morning Mug Cardigan you did with similar pattern and I LOOOOVE IT! I make so many appeal pieces and it’s quite literally the only piece of crocheted clothing I find myself wearing constantly!
It stretches down when you sew it and wear it! The panels look wide beforehand but as long as your gauge was fine than it should be ok!! So glad you like the morning mug! One of my faves!!
I love this pullover and even though I am a newbie at crocheting anything other than blankets, scarves, and hats, I ordered your kit through Lion Brand. My order was just delivered and I am so excited to get started, but don't have the PDF that was supposed to come with my order. I'll try to follow along with this video, but hoping to get that paper version for peace of mind!
Hi Suzanne! When you order the kit Lion Brand sends an email with a link to the PDF digital download. Make sure to check your spam folder, if you can't find it please email me at evelynandpetercrochet@gmail.com and I am happy to send you another copy!
I’ve started this pattern but will be ripping out for the third time. The width is so big and doesn’t correlate with the pattern. My gauge is right. I’m currently folowing the lsrge size and the width is 35.5 inches instead of 27. Inches. Can anyone help? I normally wear an XL size (baggy size of clothes).
I also had size issues but I thought it was because I used a different yarn. I really just had to wing it and do a LOT of measuring and math. The good thing is the repeat is small so you can tweak the number of stitches needed. That being said, I thought it was going to be really big and baggy but I think it’s gonna turn out a little more on the snug side. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼My only advice is to try to match the panels to a shirt you already have that you like the fit of.
Have you ever made shirts with size 10. Its my faborite to use but theyre so limited to a few people who use it on patterns. I always find myself recrewting every pattern i try and just wing it
Thank you so much I just ordered yarn to make this! May I ask if this specific stitch has a name? Because it’s a bit difficult for me to see where the chain space and where the stitch are.
Very pretty :) I just started working on it, I am on row 5 and somehow my stitches look a bit different from your finished back panel ones... I think it would very useful if you could show slower and really zoomed in starting from 2nd chain which stitches are the chain one space and which are the normal ones, I may have done something wrong there hahah
@@ydnalion4063 yeah 😁 just kept doing the way I was doing consistently that way it looks a bit different bit it’s still ok I think. But a really close up look how she does it would help ahah I think I know which ones are the chain one space it’s the normal stitches that kinda hard to guess for me 👀😁
Sorry!! Check out my Mountain Sunrise Throw tutorial on my channel. It's the exact same St but I use a super bulky yarn and a larger hook so I think you will be able to see the stitches more clear!!
Hi can you let me know how much yarn did you use for this. I am making a size L for myself and would like to purchase the yarn at once so that I do not run short
I just sent a message through ravelry regarding sizing. I'd love as much info as possible for selecting the best size since this will be my first wearable. Thank you so much!
Hi there , I wonder if you can give advise , I really like your top , but would it look good in al kinds of different colours , as in stripes as I have so much left all different colours , thnks , love your top just desperately need some inspiration 😔regards Betsy
I used a weight of 3 so if you did a weight of 1 or 2 you might have to make some adjustments. I would check gauge first to be sure and then you might need to size up your hook and/or follow along with a larger size than what you normally would!
Depends on your bust size! you can find your bust size on the sizing chart and make the size it's listed under. Since you are only 5'0 tall you can easily remove a few rows on the front and back panel to shorten it up a bit!
Hi! That depends on what size you are making! In the video I make a size small and use 920 yards of a light (3) weight yarn. All of the yardage for all 9 sizes can be found on my blog! eandpcrochet.com ¡Hola! ¡Eso depende del tamaño que estés haciendo! En el video, hago un tamaño pequeño y uso 920 yardas de un hilo de peso ligero (3). ¡Todas las yardas para los 9 tamaños se pueden encontrar en mi blog!

In Spain is impossible to wear something like that in summer with temperatures over the 40°C 😅 But for fall it would be great

Hi, its my first time crochet a top and i have no idea how to steam block this. Pleas help 😅
How many chains should we put for medium size?
Can I use a worsted weight yarn? 4?
How much yarn did you use? I don't know if I have enough string.
How long does this take to make for you all? A few weeks or?

How much yarn do i need
How many balls of yarn is required

When you forget how to do the stitch altogether, look at 9:31.
Is this unisex? I'm trying to find a top to make for my dad.
It's written in women's sizes following cyc standard sizing guide lines!
Hmmmmm, I’m making the small, and even with an H hook the back width is coming out to 26”.

What is your length for the panel? You can go down another hook size if you need to!
