Always read through the comments before attempting to follow a pattern/video. Lesson learned. I was a subscriber but I just unsubscribed due to the missing information from this video. Ripped out my entire project after so many issues with following along. Back to my tried and true bottom up pattern. For those wondering, no this wasnt my first sweater. I've actually made over twenty of them and thought I'd try a top down pattern.
I found it helpful to watch the video for the Macchiato Poncho to get additional instructions. Many of Briana's designs are from collections for which she sells the patterns, and the videos are partial tutorials to help people with the patterns see how various points of interest are worked. She also has complete tutorials for patterns that usually don't belong to a collection. It's a bit harsh to ditch a channel over one design, but, to each their own. Just keep crocheting!
I have just started watching this tutorial, but i just have to comment this first "thank you so much for not adding music to the video". Really. This makes it sooo much better to focus.
Im making this now, but I am doing regular hdc's in stead, because I find them way easier and I like the look as well. Very good tutorial and written instructions on the purchased pattern.
I just finished making this sweater, it looks great I used a Striping yarn and it turned out fabulous. This was my first sweater ever, My daughter is going to love it. This worked up quickly and the instructions were easy to follow. Plus the videos were helpful on an item or two.
I have made 5 of these in Puzzle yarn and I just love how they turn out. I just ordered more puzzle yarn for 3 more! Thank you for such a beautiful and fun pattern!
@@Yarndragon89 So far I have made it in Crossword, Riddle, Tangram, Double Dutch and Seashore. I have a few other colorways that I haven't started yet. I'm taking a break from these gorgeous sweaters and working on a few knitted ones in the meantime. 🙂

Great job. I am left handed and could easily follow your directions. The only concern I have is which way to turn my work. I guess I need to mark the right side somehow.
Hello Love your teaching style and you often use stitch marks which really help me Could you in future make a tutorial on a v neck double crochet type top that is fast and easy to work up. Not a raglan style one. I find if you have a larger chest raglan style sweaters or tops do not fit well. Thank you for your time. Keep up the videos ❤
Such a beautiful sweater! I saw a similar pattern a while ago, but it was in Italian!! I know, theoretically, if you can crochet you should be able to follow a pattern and figure out what they’re doing in any language, but I can’t do it! It just overtaxed my brain! Thank you for doing a gorgeous sweater in English! I am in a cardigan kick! I am going to see if I can make a cardi instead of a pullover! I’m not sure how challenging it will be, probably not too bad. On second thought, I’ll try the pullover first. Liked & subscribed!’

thank you so much for sharing with us dear i was searching for that increasing and decreasing method. I am already working on a project I will share my experience with you .
Thanks for generously offering this as a free pattern on your blog . However, I question the size H hook as recommended. I am using Wonderfluff for your Enchanted poncho. Id say a size J or K is more appropriate with the bulky, fluffy yarn.
The most important thing is to match gauge. And yarn companies randomly choose what hook they recommend with yarn, there is no science behind it, so it’s important to test and see if you can match gauge and like the drape.
Dear Briana, am not so skellful in crochet but I love the way the pull top down, unfortuntely I do not know the part of division the front, bach nsleeves, could you kindly give us a chart of different sizes specially 3XL, pls pls, I am en Lebanon n i would like to know your where about, thank u for your kindness, salam
Very beautiful, but where are the sizes, Number of stitches for the neck body sleeves?? Iam a beginner. so to me, it's impossible to work without counting 😁
Hola, me llamo Merche y me gusta mucho este sueter, pero los subtitulos tapan las manos y no se ve bien el trabajo. Si puede ser ponerlos mas arriba donde no molesten a la vista en proximos patrones. Muchas gracias.
Many thanks for your video, I just get confused, when you started increasing? In which row? And what is the increase that i should do for kids pullover?
Question: shouldn’t the ribbed collar end in an even number if you are going to be skipping one and then half double in the next and then going back to the skipped stitch? If you have an odd number of rows, you’re not going to be able to complete the circle uniformly with an odd number.
Muy lindo este sweter...... quisiera saber que grosor de lana has usado y que número de crochet por favor. Muchas gracias. También me serviría de referencia cuántos centímetros tiene el cuello
I love this sooo much but i really want to make it with my Caron Lovely Layers. Its a 4 weight. Is there any instructions on converting to a 4 weight!!
I am making my 4th macchiato sweater with your pattern that I purchased on Etsy. It turns out so cute! This time I am making size 12/14 and on rows 12 and 13 of the yoke there are increases indicated but the stitch count doesn't reflect them. What is the correct number of stitches to end up with for size 12/14?
I'm a beginner I was actually following your pattern and measurements but got lost when you mentioned sizes and increases..so i basically just stopped after the second row of puffs, I think ill get lost after ..all in all it's a good tutorial I guess

This is not a stand alone video, this is a companion to a he written pattern.

These is beautiful. I love crocheting in a round and have lovely rainbow yarn for my girls
I love this pattern. So glad it's in English. Thank you for sharing.
I found the main stitch half d.c front and back slow and laborious so I did suzette stitch instead. Looks just as nice and is quicker.
Im making this now, but I am doing regular hdc's in stead, because I find them way easier and I like the look as well. Very good tutorial and written instructions on the purchased pattern.
How many chains to start for adult
The beautiful pattern .turned out to be a gorgeous sweater. I already made one vest out of this design and now I am back from the whole sweater.
