    I was on the fence on the AAL one because I didn't want to loose my factory inner fenders, now I know which one I'm going to go with! Thanks for the video 👍

    Love the look. Wish that outside corner between the light and old housing flush seamlessly better. Not the installer’s fault but Rugged Ridge could have made it with a little extra lip that would cover the entire corner give it a cleaner look. Great video!

      Thanks espm! Agree with you, that outside corner could have been handled better. Appreciate your support.

      @@ExpeditionBuilds helpful indeed. I’d wanted a fender chop since I got my Jeep as well but wanted to keep the factory liners. This looks excellent! Again, thanks for taking the time to put this together!!

      Hi Ed, good hearing from you! Nice hearing the videos help. The Rugged Ridge Fender Chop Kit has been great and I can completely recommend it.
      The Sliders I'm running are the Rock Slide Engineering Step Sliders. I have several videos on them so be sure and check them out. They are true frame mounted sliders that incorporate drop down steps. Fully recommend them. If you go that way, be sure and use the 10% discount at the end of the video(s).

    I have to say that I’m kinda surprised that you didn’t go with the AAL kit. But I guess that one must require you to remove all of the factory inner fender?

    • @ExpeditionBuilds
      @ExpeditionBuilds  2 года назад

      Yep, wanted to run my stock liners as well as keep the black edge trim on the fenders. Very happy with the way this turned out.

    Does it fit on a Sahara JL 2018? Im under an impression all JL fenders are the same. Why are some website marking this as Rubicon only ?

    • @ExpeditionBuilds
      @ExpeditionBuilds  Год назад

      Hi Gavin! The Rubicon run the 'Hi-Line' fender. It seems it should fit your Sahara. I would reach out to Rugged Ridge directly to verify fitment.

      Hi Marcos. I was just checking the Rugged Ridge site. Here's a link: ruggedridge.com/p/rugged-ridge-chop-brackets/rgr-11640-96/ Make sure you select w/daytime running lights from the dropdown panel.

    The instructions are very vague for the install for this product. Where do you attach the relay bracket bracket that is found at the end of the light?

    • @ExpeditionBuilds
      @ExpeditionBuilds  2 года назад

      Hi Raymond. I think you are referencing the plug at the end of the light? The harness simply plugs into where you unplugged OEM light, same harness.

    • @raymondwu3971
      @raymondwu3971 2 года назад +1

      @@ExpeditionBuilds thanks for your response. So it’s not the plug part but the black box with the white insert. If you go to 8:44 of your video you might be able to see what I am talking about. Looks like that black box needs to be mounted somewhere, or maybe it doesn’t? Just curious? Thanks again and great informative video!

      @@ExpeditionBuilds actually at 8:56 is a better shot of the wiring harness.

    • @ExpeditionBuilds
      @ExpeditionBuilds  2 года назад

      @@raymondwu3971 I see what you mean now. After I made the wiring harness connections and sealed it into the supplied heat shrink, I zip tied all that neatly along the same path as the OEM harness used.
