Come out with an inner fender liner that goes with this setup and you've earned my business (and several other's), don't like wheels tossing salt and mud into the wheel well area, that's just asking for corrosion problems 3 years down the road.
Was curious about this as well. A lot of unnecessary stuff will be thrown into that engine bay and could possible damage vital parts. They do look cool though.
I love these lights. Thanks for the fantastic video. I just finished the install of the lights. Going to install the AAL inner fenders tomorrow. So excited to see the finished product.
I love this. Anyone with a JL Sport will want a replacement fender, inner fender and these lights as a kit. Maybe work on that when you get a chance. (please!)
I have a JL Sport and I'm looking into buying Rubi fenders + this light kit! I think it would make my 2 door look awesome combined with a 2" lift and 35's.
These have been for sale for several months now and have sold very well. Let me know if you have any questions - americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-jt-quick-release-front-inner-fenders/
Aluminum fender liners and I'll purchase the entire setup today. I won't run without liners however. First off, its damn ugly seeing all that crap in there and secondly, it makes a tremendous mess of the engine bay in mud, dust, dirt. NEVERMIND... I see you have them. Ordering everything today! Edit #2: UGH... backordered!! :(
What if someone was so inclined as to keeping the factory DRL setup and outer black trim so would it be possible to remove the inner part of the fenders and maybe cut around the plastic welds that hold the front DRL and cut the inside edges where it meets and clips into the outer black trim so it becomes a gutted fender with factory DRL and outer black trim and add your Fender Liners to it
Been eyeing this for a while. Do you guys offer an amber led vs the white without needing to do the RGB style leds? I prefer the look of amber running lights.
QUESTION on ORDERING... You have three choices for Bulb Out Sensor... I have the factory LED fenders now, what choice should I make when I order? thanks, guys your products are of the best in the industry!
Just got these and realize the flare just lays on top of the bracket unless you put a bolt through the side of the fender and then that’s just one bolt holding it on makes more sense to replace with aluminum flares .
Hey Stuart. First off. Thank you for the order and thanks for watching the video. Based on your comment, it sounds like you are surprised at how these install. I'm sorry for the confusion there. This video was produced to eliminate any of the confusion. The bolt is plenty sufficient to retain the outside of the fender. The fender is also attached throughout the quarter panel. In addition, we sell an optional "Fender Retention Kit" if you would like to replace the white plastic OEM clips with nutcerts and bolts - americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-fender-retention-hardware/. On a side note, "makes more sense" is completely relative. We are not claiming this to be the perfect product for every situation. However, it is a very cost effective way to add a ton of style and additional clearance to your JL without breaking the bank. I doubt you will get aluminum flares for anywhere near this price. Also, the aluminum fenders will transfer any impact directly into the quarter panels, which will be a very costly repair. The plastic will absorb that impact, and in most cases, bounce back without a lot of damage to the fenders.
Hi,. thanks for this video, super helpful .Planning to purchase this product. Quick question - do you have video instruction how to use z automotive Tazer to configure the light and prevent the Bulb Out Warning? Also, do you know if the Tazer light support it ? if not, I will need to upgrade.
any word on the inner fender? also, is there a way to just run these without the DRL, and just use it as a turn signal? doesn’t look like the DRL matches the color of the oem halos.
I just picked up a Gladiator Willys. Which version would your High Line need to be to fit my fender flares? They seem to be 2 piece fenders but I am not sure if they are the Rubicon or a new modified Sport version.
Hey Kyle. Sorry I missed this when you asked this question. Yes, we remove the black trim from the flare and install our rear inner fenders. They match very well like that. americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-quick-release-rear-inner-fenders/
A couple of customers have done that, but I haven't seen the finished result. We'll have our inner fender done in about a week. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Look like a great product and we did order it. We order it on 3/7/21 until now we didn't receive it. Unfortunately to wait 2 month and counting is no fun. I hope the product deliver good results like In the video but with that said i don't think its worth more then 2 month of waiting, even with the pandemic is too long.
Eddie Hernandez we just installed these on our 20 JLR non LED and the lights work no codes on initial startup. Going to wait a few days to see what happens. Ordered the tazer and looks like I wont need it.
Austin Harris yes. We had no codes. We added the JL mini after adding the AUX switch panel and we get the blinker out code now on the first use of signal. Everything works fine. We have the RGB version of highline.
houseofbaker2001 I have 2018 JL Sport non led and no DRL package and I’m having code for bulb out and DRL not working any suggestions. I already installed Tazer mini but so far no luck.
Vohra Hanif ok we had added AUX switches recently and then added the tazer mini to activate those switches. We got the light out message after installing tazer and after running the setup proceedure found at AAL website. So I tried turning off the led in tazer and rebooted tazer. We now have a no warning messages. So try just running the leds plugged in with out the settings for tazer. Oh we did get one light out message initially but I cleared and it has not come back. I think on the JL the tazer has its wires crossed??? LoL.
Hey Kyle, sorry I missed this earlier. Yes, we do have an optional harness to eliminate this warning - americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-bulb-out-fix-harness/
Oof be warned you need those white body clips on the inner fender at the end, for some reason I took the "some people just rip the fenders off" as them not being needed somehow, but I saved enough of them. Finally got these installed hopefully my fenders dont blow off the highway today lol
Yes, you definitely can. Take a look at the product page. You'll see the Trail Jeeps JL about 3/4 of the way down the page. That one is using the factory liner.
Yes, looks like our first bulk order will arrive in about a week to 10 days. We already have a pile of brackets here at the shop just waiting on the Next-Gen lights. Won’t be long now!!!
LOVE the video....any problems with the back of the fender flopping around at speed....seems like the only thing holding them on are the plastic clips back there. OH and LOVE the bumper...I ordered the exact one from Hauk....should be in any day now.
Thanks for watching! No problems with the back of the fender moving. In an odd wind situation the front can bounce a little, but 99% of the time the wind is pushing the fender down. We have had people ask for a way to secure the front. I'll be including a tab in case anyone wants to drill their fender for extra support.
They will. We have several customers who retained their inner wheel liner and the small black trim on the outside of the flares. Take a look at the Trail Jeeps JL on the product page - americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-high-line-fender-brace-with-daytime-running-lights/
The Sahara version will work with the Sport, but you will have to do a little extra trimming. There are some videos on RUclips where our customers have done the trimming. Unfortunately, I don't have the links off hand.
I wonder if your before and after measurement in this video is applicable in terms of true travel gained? It would be helpful to also see a measurement from the top of the tire to the lowest point on the brackets hanging down where most tires would hit first. I imagine there will be quite a few people that choose to not cut the brackets and travel gained is more like an inch for most people. They look cool though..
Hey Joe. Thanks for watching. You can absolutely leave it on and just trim it down. Check out the TrailJeeps JL on the product page for some photos - americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-high-line-fender-brace-with-daytime-running-lights/.
Do you know of an aftermarket fender for the JLU Sports that work well with this setup? I have a Rubi suspension on my Sport and 35's. I rub the inner fender liners in the rear so am interested in replacing with flatter fenders but would love to incorporate these lights as well in the front.
So if you wanted to put 35’s on a two door jl rubicon and no lift will this work with no rub on the front? I’m kinda of an slow and low crawler, and I know the rear would still rub......., or did I miss something l?
You could take the l you need out of the rear too. Now the question is, if you live anywhere they use salt on the roads, is removing the fender liners a good idea?
@Ric Hi Ric , what colour are your fenders , my jl will be white . Not sure about freight to Australia, but I would love high fenders .Let me know how much you want for them. Thanks Danny
Thanks for watching, Jonathan. If your limiting factor right now is the inside of the fender, this will help you. However, if you're rubbing the body in the turns, this won't have any affect on that.
Les Szabo asks the question I have. Or for simplicity might there be a possibility to use the stock inner fender well? I’m aware of plenty of aftermarket “wells”, but want to spend money on other gear and not the “wells.”

We're already on it. Should have something to show in about a week. Thanks for commenting and watching!
Any liner updates?
Was curious about this as well. A lot of unnecessary stuff will be thrown into that engine bay and could possible damage vital parts. They do look cool though.
Okay so I want to buy these but I, like the rest, want it to look good, clean and almost professional.
Any updates on when it will be finished?
@@AdventureLab Looking for uptakes on these Fender Liners....
I love these lights. Thanks for the fantastic video. I just finished the install of the lights. Going to install the AAL inner fenders tomorrow. So excited to see the finished product.
I loved mine for 3 years. Sadly the turn signals no longer work and they are yellowing.
Do you guys have one for JL Sport models?
The description of the tools was hilarious

Awesome to see that your Company is making a impact. Good Job - when will the back orders get filled, lol
Cool. Really like the added wheel space.
Still keeping a great look.
Thanks, Spencer.
Looks really nice and clean. The added clearance is good too.
Inner liner is a must.37 in rubber is dandy
How do you now when to stop!
Took explanation was spot on… I call those the same thing 😂
Very clean look and greater function. Great product.
any solution for when washing the car using the pressure washer ?
Any JK highline coming in future?
Possibly. Its definitely on the radar. Thanks for watching.
Pretty sweet product if I had jl I would buy this.
thanks!!!
Those lights look awesome! Nice video!
Thanks! I appreciate that.
Do you know how to fix the "turn signal lights out" error using superchip/flashcal after installing this ?
Looks great but the Jeep definitely needs a rubber apron style inner fender now. Nice product!
We'll have our inners done in about a week. Thanks for watching!

Great install dude. Love the Benny Hill music.
Ha ha. Thanks.
this is only for a Rubicon that has a different fender than my JL Sport correct?
Well this mod be available for the jK

Absolutely. It takes some custom trimming, but we have had a ton of customers do that.
Can you leave and off road with no inner liners?
Someone give me an opinion. I have a 2021 Sahara. If I installed these lights and removed the inner fenders. Would I still need a lift for 35s??

For the inner fender, do y'all think satin black or textured black would look better? String grey with non painted fender flares here.
