It varies drastically from school to school. This is all traditional systema work. You will definitely find it in the Retuinskih, Combat Systema and Kadochnikov camps. Some of the Ryabko camps integrate it as well but ultimately it is up to the teachers themselves. In my opinion, it is the root of everything.
anurruti using a tree and grass is the best. Especially in the knuckles. The wall at my dojo is concrete that’s also good. Socks on linoleum might be a bit slippery but try to engage your core rather than push excessively into the toes. That is more often the culprit.
@@Combatprofessor thanks for the prompt reply and suggestion about the core, I guess you're right I probably unconconciously push excessively as you say to compensate for some core weakness. (btw I do the exercise with sneakers in wooden varnished floor in gym, maybe the sole is that good either).
This is Excellent,Kevin..good stuff!

There are many girls who practice Systema, and there is nothing exotic about it.
i have some videos & books , how much it cost to do all that ???
You best bet is to download mobility level 1 and 2 at kevinsecours.com. They outline all of these movements
I have tried some of the wall exercises but my feet always end up giving up. I wonder if is the laminate floor or the sole of the shoes that help you

It actually is. It's one of the most beautiful Martial Arts in the world filled with plenty of interesting motions.
