I was in this class and remember this and other visits by Kevin. What a gentleman and all round scholar of combat arts. Nice work with Kalvin.

Absolutely. Kevin's school is in Montreal. He teaches there full time and does seminars throughout North America as well.

@systemacanada Laughing out very loud!!! Imagining you with a broadsword and furs up there prowling through that snowy Montreal winter :) Its in the 30s down here.
Have a great Christmas. I got Primal Power 2 so I was very pleased. I'm looking forward to the magnum opus I hear you're putting together. My birthday's in March so sometime before then would be great :)

Quick question, this book I'm reading on Systema (by Giuseppe Filotto) says to completely relax when struck.. when you were getting kicked were you just completely relaxed or did you tense at any point? I couldnt tell..

If you think about it Indiana Jones had a very systema approch to his fighting. In those movies that character Indiana seemed to always be able to use the enviroment against his attackers and he also was able to over come multiple attackers
And he always had a knock out heavy punch and he could also take some heavy hits
yeah yeah they were movies.I am speaking of the character

You are damn fluid... always moving

  • @Gitohandro

The moves all seem evasive, iv'e not seen a systema kicking video where the practitioner is attacking, infact most videos seem to be "defense against" something not how to attack

Gitonga Mwaniki They aren't teaching Spetsnaz, this is just for people to save themselves at the club. So that is why.

Anyone who does Systema is generally tricky to figure out.
