You can run radials on the front with bias ply rear and vice versa. You can't mix a radial with a bias ply on the same axle (or spindles).
If anything the radial front will provide some front stability. running a bias ply slick in the reap you need as much stability as you can get
Slicks on the back radials on the front. Been 150 @3100 lbs. no issues

I had a 70 Cuda with slicks on the back and radials on the front car was all over the track, I put a set of Front Runners on the car was like on a string!!
I've been in the low 7s and that was like 15 years ago with a skinny radial on the front and slick on the rear. 1.12 60ft and straight as an arrow. Now normal driving on the street with a sustained speed is a different story. Specially without a skinny on the front. Skinny on the front makes a difference. Also little less air in the front helps also.
The vehicle moving around also depends on the suspension setup and settings. The 2 types of tires flex differently and that's the main reason vehicles don't drive well with normal street driving. Also the weight and balance of the weight plays a part. The last issue is regardless what tire is on the front. Not everyone is use to driving on a slick. The car sways little regardless and you feel it move around more because of the sidewall. I've seen quite a few guys run drag radials on the rear make the switch to bias ply all the way around (front and back) and put the car in the wall.
Every car will act differently depending on all the factors in play.

Kind of counter productive to be setting up for “no prep” while using 2.5 gallons of track prep aint it, im assuming that was just to see how or if the suspension was reacting or in this case not reacting?

John yall need 2 put at least 4 or 6 bags on concreate in the ass end of the cow and lower your tire prssure down to at least 12 to 14 psi to make it hook up the right way
