Did you bend your struts running these extenders? I’ve got mine set up the exact same way and it keeps bending my struts but I had the ride height to low and it was bottoming out
Nah never had them issues but I seen your post this morning on the group. That’s the problem with the strut spacers, you have to have the front end high & looks goofy.
@@BmoreFox it’s just hard to belt hat bottoming out should bend struts, the pick I posted was what came on my car. The ones I just bent aren’t near as bad. Do you street drive with yours?
No. Only bc I have motor mounts not a mid plate so that would drop the engine, turbo & everything down & im sure I’d have clearance issues bc it wasn’t built around that. But now, I don’t have this set up, I have actually long travel DA struts.
When I was on a race team… they used similar setup but would strap it to control max travel distance…. Just after I posted this you mention travel limiters.
The longer front travel also helps to keep from upsetting the chassis. Like you noticed, when the car hits the end of travel, it spins. That's because the rear end unloads, having longer travel and slowing the front end down a bit allows you to hit the end of that travel gently and keep the chassis planted
I know it's off topic but I'm interested in buying a VS 7875 t51r for a 6.0Ls, what was the AR of the one you had? The biggest one they sell is a 1.28 V band, what do you think for a 6.0 street/strip?
Thank you man!!! Exactly what I needed because yes Turbojohn just kind of glossed over it. Watching this in preparation to do it to my fox now. Because yes, she is totally running :)
Nice separation! Here’s a tip about ramps and jack stands. It can still roll if it’s not in park or in your case you had the trans out. I usually face one ramp the opposite direction of the other one. Helps keep it from rolling away. Of course you can’t drive on or off so the car has to be jacked up.
The trans is in the car right now & in park. Also just temporary. It’s usually on all 4 jacks. Just not in this video lol. Thanks for the heads up though.
Gotta love narcissist neighbors. I deal with the same shit.. they’re just intimidated and jealous that you’re a somebody and they’re nobody’s..
sooo annoying
plus electric weed wacker.... at least get a stihl 😂

Has anyone found the strut spacers
Just saw this video today, just an idea but did you consider a k frame spacer to alleviate some ball joint bind at full droop?

12-150 are more than enough I run that on my 997 cobra Car weighs 2950lb
this is old now, I run 16x125 now
coilover extensions you can find them anywhere
So why can no one find them? Oh ok.
they literally pop up on the screen instantly

Nice vid thanks! I’m planning to use those 10 way struts. How noisy are they? Do you get a lot of rattling/clacking!
they're kinda quiet

That’s the plan! Still have yet to test it out
@@BmoreFox Subscribed to see how it goes 👍
Thank you!
So I actually just did this same thing. The guy I got the parts from actually told me to use 16” 100lb springs. How did yours work out for you?
How did you like the 16” spring setup ?
@@Fastlife660 haven’t tested it out yet. Very excited to though
This you experience the ball joint issue @dwb
I still have 16 inch springs up front 125lb. Works great!
Nope
Where do u get them
Someone I know made them for me
Did you go with single or double adjustable in the front?
Double & about to go with double out back too
Are you running fox struts or new edge struts?
I was running Foxbody
Cut the spacer down half inch or so. Also don’t forget to play with rear weight . Lots of testing to get it right
The springs alone are gonna help a ton!
I hope so!
How can I get a set of spacers like this for mine
I mentioned it on the video. Damb Racecars they’re similar to mine
Been watching your vids for a bit, thanks for all the info. I have some videos up if you are interested

I had the 1.25 at housing. It was great for my 4.8. My dad ran low 9s with his 6.0 in a 4000lb STREETcar so it’s perfect.

Where did you get the extensions
Same question
This does not look like travel. More like lift kit. Shok is not traveling any further
Lmao OK
