This video made me miss my father so bad, he was a lot like you. Your son's are very lucky to have YOU teach them the old school way. Learning the knowledge base between your ears is better than any computer DATA collected. Common sense NO computer can learn, your awareness of the track and it's conditions are amazing. God Bless you and your family! Keep up the GREAT work YOU are doing and blessing US ALL with your experience and knowledge. Thank YOU

To SR., what you've shared with us is called "situational awareness". Being in the moment of any given situation to be able and change an outcome while it's happening is what made Jackie Stewart the incredible champion he was (forever will be!). Billy is the fastest person I've EVER seen on the light! He consistently leaves on everyone. The only way anyone will get ahead of him is with them guessing at it. And being around you & all the knowledge he quickly has become one of the better tuners. Sir, you've helped so many people openly, so all who choose to do so can fully enjoy the form of racing we feel the strongest passion for..Drag Racing! (Sunday, Sunday-- sorry, flashback! Been too long since my last wiff of nitro.) Thank for being able to see through eyes of another man! A beautiful & rare ability in today's world.

Very well said! That's it he's giving awareness and some tricks! He doesn't give all but that's racing. He will get you set up and you fine tune it. Every chassis is different and doesn't matter if you have a million dollars or a thousand you can still be fast. Spinnin ain't winnin!

Coming from open wheel dirt racing, we had to look at the track change the gear when it dried up change the tuneup in the injectors I read in the plugs, no computer stuff on our race cars. That’s what makes you and Billy such a good team, he’s got great feel for the car you got the common sense and the calmness to remind him and he’s got a great head on your shoulders and listens to what your advice is. Him being so young I’m sure sometimes you just wanna shake your head because he probably doesn’t want to hear it all the time. But just sit down and talk to them and explain to him like you are too was why you do that is golden advice. You guys are awesome, especially you old man, we love your videos especially the ones where you explain your side of racing to us. That wisdom has brought success. And turbo John is a character and a great guy I follow him as much as I follow you. His little of shit box hauls ass.

I know you have a lot of people sending you messages and a lot of questions that come in on a regular basis. I watch a lot of the video's you and your boys put out. Your information videos really help me as someone who is alittle late bloomer coming into the street/no prep type of racing on a more serious level. With my grandfather recently passing and him being my only other car guy in the family, (besides my dad passing at a young age) I look to you guys as an outlet for that loss in my life. Ill keep trying to absorb the information you provide us watchers. Thank you Bill, I hope to meet you guys one day in 2021 down here in Nc. Maybe at Rockingham this weekend. God Speed Bill.

Words of wisdom and common sense from a great source that I know will save injuries, lives and vehicles. A lot of racers put everything they have into building a race car over years; time, money, blood, sweat and tears and it is very difficult to recover from. Myself, I have lost my Z-28 and 4x4 truck to fires and now I only have my daily driver. Great video once again and God Bless. Gaptize 'em this weekend!!

Last week this time was the best ever for me- this week is a very low point in my life bc I lost one of my most treasured friends that I cherish even more than drag racing which is my Dog' he is the very reason I've made huge accomplishments thru life he helped me thru hard times and days. I'm sure I was his everything also. As a part of life we find ways to deal with death and grief - I find you Bill and SRC Garage a form of recovery in both great times and bad times. Your family is a perfect scenario form of a most desired life and many people including myself watch for great desired lifestyle. Just remember Bill as you ask yourself why' we hold you as a great mentor -'you help us all in life as you do in racing even us the ones whom has raced forever, there's more to life than racing and you and the src family are living proof in all I've stated. Thank you so much sir.......

I personally feel like this "no-prep" game is really dangerous. I remember "street racing" over 20 years ago, when I got my license, and if you pulled up with a 10 second car, you were FAST. ...and those things were a bit "hairy". Cars are putting down so much power nowadays, I'm constantly finding myself clenching my butt cheeks harder than hell, watching these guys make the passes they do.
Anyway, Love you guys! Keep up the GREAT work and stay SAFE!!

Your videos make the younger crowd with less money get into no prep. This year I’ll be stepping up from bracket racing to hard tire this year and can’t wait. See you guys at the track!

Your homegrown rig is as hardcore as any racing teams. Big respect for that and your down to earth lifestyle.

My local track is 5 mins from my house and you can believe that if somethings going on there even if my machine is down, I’m at the track by myself on the starting line collecting data and watching what people do. I’ve learned ALOT just by paying attention.

You and your family are good people. The attention your family gets, is well deserved. It’s weird because we feel like we know y’all. Like my wife and I could hang out or go to dinner with y’all or something like that. But that’d be kinda weird.
I grew up at the race track. Pictures in diapers at Thompson Drag Raceway in 1978. I lost my father when I was 19. After that life just got crazy. When you have time you have no money. When you have no money do you have time. Life is crazy like that. My mom remarried. My stepfather was in research and development at Mr. gasket. He had a 64 Ford Fairlane thunderbolt nostalgia super stocker. He was 74 years old when he stop driving that car. He had prostate cancer and passed away at 76. He left behind a 69 Camaro. I was shocked when my mother handed me the title and said we need to go get this changed. That’s something that I think I don’t deserve. But everybody else thinks were crazy. I’m hoping to get to the track very soon. But again the time and money issue seems to arrive all the time. You guys need to come up north a little bit and hit up summit racing motorsports Park. The truck will fly down the track. Lace up your shoes tight before you walk out there type track. Thank you for all your help, knowledge, humor, and just all-around being a great person. And we will make it up to one of the races that you guys are at, and I will be one of those guys coming up and hugging you in tears. Much love from Medina Ohio. Just a hop skip and a jump a little north of y’all😜

This info can save your life. All the power on the world means nothing if you can't tune to the track. When it takes a 1000hp just to be a player these days, one mistake and ya dead. Thanks for sharing.

My first thought when I saw the crash, got to learn when to abort the pass...It's hard to lift sometimes, but its even harder to be racing next week, when you don't have a car. SRC, SRC garage, SRC photo, are my 5, 9 and 12...who needs bs mainstream tv when you have options like this channel. Family oriented, apple pie, middle America, kinda stuff, representing real people, living, working, and having fun. Anyhow, I'm rambling, good stuff as always Bill. Good luck and safe travels from 513
