Every time I do it, exactly like this, I immediately get a tangled mess that locks up the machine after about, oh, four stitches or so. I've redone it about 20 times tonight and I'm about to throw this machine through the window
Jams can be frustrating. Please see the link below for more information: help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/124056 If you are still experiencing the same issue, please contact Brother Customer Service directly at: www.brother-usa.com/support
You and me both 😡I’ve been at it for an hour and did everything this video is showing and I am still jamming it up. I even clicked the link she posted for you and it’s still doing it 😭
I had the same issue and just about gave up. I read through the link above and it turned out that my stitch length was too short. Turned it up to 4 and no more tangles or jams.
Mine was doing this and what happened was all this lint got into the little cradle thing the bobbin sits in. I took that out, cleaned it, put it back in making sure the white dots lined up, and boom fixed so simple but so irritating
Thank you for watching! For more information on drawing up the bobbin thread, please see the link below: support.brother.com/g/b/faqend.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=hf_xr3774eus&faqid=faqh00000477_005
Hi, I have the LS14s model, which does not give you the option to wrap and cut the thread as seen at the 0.20 second mark. Any recommendations of how to do that step/something similar for my model? Thanks!

If I lined up the bobbin marker with the projection while winding the thread, where do I line the marker when inserting the bobbin of the lower thread?

What if the top thread isn’t picking up the bobbin thread? I’ve checked every troubleshooting idea on the website (plus everything else I could think of), and it’s still not picking up the thread. I’m at a loss. I’ve never had this happen before. (I’ve been sewing for 15 years and I’ve owned several different sewing machines.) Please help!
I actually figured out what was wrong. The timing was off so the hock on the bobbin casing wasn’t catching the upper thread. I used RUclips videos to learn how to fix it. Then I put it back together, and it sews perfectly.
My Bobbin tension is a bit low. Like, top thread is at 2, and bottom is still the looser side. Anything I can do? Top does seem unusually tight, thread snapped twice in 1 use (tote bag sewing project).
We are sorry to hear that your sewing machine is not sewing correctly and the tension seems to be off. Please see the links below for more information: help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/126241 help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/137019 If you are still experiencing the same issue, please contact Brother Customer Service at: www.brother-usa.com/support
I've a brother sewing machines, I went to a travel agency to ship it to Europe, came vandalized, one broken bovine, if turning the power bottom it is supposed to make a sound , it seems they touched the digital screen, messed with the settings, I tried to put the compartment where the bovine comes, it is kind of stuck, if putting the thread it is supposed to do it automatically , nothing happens, I do not know what to do
We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced while traveling. If we can assist you with any questions or help on your machine, please contact Brother Customer Service at: www.brother-usa.com/support

I mean I had to put it on 25 speed because like the part that people can't do and that I apparently have been doing wrong is the winding at part like how does it go around the little thing like your hand obstructs it and it's not the fall to the woman in the video it's brother. And it seems like it's a thing across all their products like getting explanation for how something works or what it even does in some cases is impossible I don't know what the hell is going on there
I didn’t purchase a sewing machine!!! I purchased a $15k 6 needle embroidery machine and registered it but it has memory problems that Ivreported to some novice at brother’s v support who has no clue and has probably never embroidered with a 6 needle machine. I should have bought snvElna or Janine!!!
