Best instructional video on youtube for threading the bobbin! Super concise and realistic pace. Her voice is not annoying, like many other sewing tutorials.

Kandia, this has been the most brilliant demo I have come across on the internet. I’ve been gifted this machine by one of my nieces to teach myself to sew. So exciting! Thank you so much! You’re God send. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I failed sewing my senior year of high school, it was sooooo bad my sewing teacher told me to give it up and she would give me credit and pass me from her class if I brought in something home cooked for her and I to share and talk while the other students were doing their projects and on Fridays I brought in baked goods for the entire class, I ended up getting an "A" but I've always wanted to really try to sew so I brought myself a sewing machine for christmas. I felt like I was in high school again because I couldn't wind the thread or change the bobbin without my husband (who has a gift with painting, drawing, and all types of needlework including sewing) doing it for me, but I was determined to learn on my own and thanks to your video I DID IT!!! You'd think I found the cure for small pox the way I was jumping around and dancing!!! Thank you so much, I subscribed and know that you are THE BEST sewing instructor EVER!!!!!
Do you do online classes? If so where do I sign up????

I too have my husband set the machine up when I used it..the 2 Times I used it Lol it's my mother in-laws actually but I'd like to have my own for quilting and clothes making one day. Glad I'm not the only one who's husband does this though lol

I've been sewing since I was young when Fabric was cheap I made my Daughter's clothes then store bought became cheaper they are in their late 40's now. Pillow covers only come in one size now and no longer fit smaller pillow sizes I decided to remedy that by downsizing them. My granddaughter got me a new machine and the directions made no sense. Thank you for doing these totorials. It's amazing how much you forget when you're closer to 70 than 60.

Hi and thank you for your videos. I have a JX2517 too. I always had a question that you might be able to answer. When I begin or finish stitching, what is stopping the thread from unraveling; if a kid pulls on it? I dont make a knot or anything when I begin to stitch. My worst fear is my kids pulling on the end of the string and the entire stitched string unraveling. Thank you!

I really appreciate these videos. I'm here bumbling around with a cruddy " quilt" from wish that I ended up using the flat sheet and " quilt" with batting to make my niece an actual quilt. I'm not a sewing machine person unfortunately. Great videos. Very informative and detailed but not a lot of yammering like many RUclips videos :| lol good stuff.
