The Driver in Beloit,Wi. Should have rented a truck to take care of his load and then went back for his truck or hauled another load until his truck was ready.
I don't like paying $15 for 10hrs of parking let alone $150. That has to be a joke..or yes it's in NY.
The guy with the insurance claim on the frozen corn should have hired another carrier to haul the load for him or at least did something to save the load.

I would never park there. Imagine getting there at 11PM and getting kicked out at 7AM not being able to complete your 10 hour reset
Anytime there is a call from a police, you need to get name badge number and their precinct. Immediately after talking to them their precinct called the precinct and verify their badge number and name. And then from there it is a felony to impersonate a police officer.
If the drivers could ever band together. The Teamsters union comes to mind. The truckers should have complete control over the citizens. Without drivers America doesn't have anything to buy.
The teamsters couldn't ban togather a bail of hay either.

I'm a CDL instructor in Washington state. My students have always been able to retake just what they fail and continue on. But... Once they fail one of the 3 sections they have to stop for that test. Then it's a 72 hour wait to retest.

Now yes there is a lot of scam with towing company and brokers...2months ago I was assaulted by a towing company and had to pay $5800...we are sueing and going to court....
If your truck breaks down it's your responsibility to get the load delivered so it doesn't go bad. If you wait a month to check on your reefer you shouldn't be an owner operator. And yes you pronounced Beloit correctly. And there is a South Beloit IL,( Beloit grew southward into IL.)

That's what I was thinking.you better have gold on that load.they send billions to other countries but their's no parking anywhere after 5:00 o'clock pm I 71 both rest area are closed and couple others close for Habitat.InCorbin,KY there use to be a TA that was bigger than the Pilot and Loves combined.That TA use to be a 76 backing the early 90's.why these truck stops aren't bigger beats me.

Unfortunately the guy breaking down with the reefer product thats on him... Its his responsibility to either keep that reefer going at all costs or get a power only unit to the mechanic and get it delivered or atleast cross docked.

There is a place in my town that charges less than that monthly for people to park their semi trucks and trailers. They also allow people with RVs to park there. It’s like $80 a month.

They most likely leave that up to the lease owner or the owner operator to do.
I guess if I had a load of cooking spices. At least when I delivered my load after paying that much to park. I would have a scentsational experience 😊

Airport park in orlando isnt even that expensive i domt remember how much it is but its got a night attended lit paved parking lot and showers and nightly qeekly or monthly parking for 18wheelers just gotta call them and see how much!! Hes responsible for that corn simple as that! I got arrested awhile ago at a scale and the cop that took me in said call your company tell them you getting arrested the truck is swcure at the scale youll be out in afew hours not only that but after i bonded myself out he gave me a ride back to the scale to get in my truck and leave

Twice this week I have seen truck drivers covering the names and numbers on side of there trucks and replacing with new name and numbers what’s the deal.
Yes cops do call my friend got a dui and cops call my other friend which owned the company/truck and let him know what happened
People need to learn to be rebellious in a positive way. Then they wouldn’t get scammed. Not saying don’t do the right thing but don’t make it convenient by being too nice. Too many people being nice in this industry and not coming together to end all the bullshit.

There's a Pilot down there and it's the only place to Park, I Found the Hotel down the road and I met the One in Charge, His Name was Hercules,(Real Name) Born in Panama, I call him and He takes care of me and The Truck, I've never had a Trailer There, it's done that road behind the Pilot
