Woodturning a yew with epoxy bowl

I made a bowl from a piece of yew and epoxy resin.
Because it was cold, I heated the epoxy resin, but a load of epoxy resin solidified during the casting and therefore did not end up in the mold.
After the epoxy resin had hardened, and I had sawed off the protruding epoxy resin, I turned it into a bowl.
I finished the bowl with two coats of sealer, sanded it to 600 grit and then used friction polish.
