You should try to use one or two light brown/ocre pigments to use between the desert and the rocks to make them blend together and create different looking patches of sand. I do desert like you but i use 3 pigments instead of a wash. It creates some good looking gradients in the desert.
I have considered pigments however adding them in, setting agents etc is just another step and I really wanted these to be a quick process thus the wash/drybrush done theme
To add realism to the models dry brush the feet and legs with that lighter sandy colour, as then it should show the Dark Angels have trudged through the desert and not just been placed fir the asthetic.
This dish is a testimony to the chef's culinary mastery.
😂😂😂 thanks!
Bases look awesome ! Thicc mixture.
Really nice product to use, tá!

Hey great vid, ordered some already, but what did u use to attach the models to the base, super glue, pva etc..?
Just super glue - normally I use a gel but liquid will also work, just make sure to not overload it
Hail all
Thanks buddy

Thats what I use weathering powders for, gives a great effect
So is this like sand in pva or Elmer’s basically?
That would probably work
