I've never been a big Superman fan, but him taking the kids gloves off and handling overconfident evil bad-guys after having enough of their shit is a level of raw dopamine I wish I could straight up drink. I can just imagine Vegeta standing over Superman, gloating like the dumbass he is and bragging about how he's going to kill Batman or something just to torment him only for The Man of Steel to take a nice deep breath, stand up, place his hand on Vegeta's shoulder and say "You're not doing that" before pile-driving him across the planet. So much fun.
And then Darkseid releases the agony matrix which immediately incapacitates Superman before he pulls out a kryptonite knife that he could have used at any point during the fight. Superman was screwed from the very start, and Darkseid was only toying with him.
It should be noted that Batman may not be able to actually fight Napa or Vagita, but his tactics ability will be able to help the other members to cope with the two. Once Batman is on the mind link the Martin Manhunter provides, the two are as good a defeated.
Kinda funny to think of John Stewart as being multi continental when he was almost killed by one of Joker’s bombs in Las Vegas. But putting that anti feat aside, really fun vid all around.
Easily explained by the fact that Green Lanterns need to focus on damage to neutralize it. If you catch them off guard, they're just what the regular durability of their specific species allows. Which isn't that big of a nerf considering Ki works the exact same way
Green lanterns don't have an always on passive no sell durability. Frankly it was more ridiculous for him and superman to be taken hostage by sleeping gas during the Imperium invasion. Even though green lantern has a literal force field that protect him from environmental hazard by design and Superman could have just held his breath.
The animated universe unironically has one of the strongest characters in a long time. Amazo in the show beat the entire league but only stopped at Solomon Grundy because he kept eating his power In the spinoff his counterpart wiped the universe, but he survived it all in one piece
Amazon could unironically destroy the saiyans, but I think the speed feats are a bit off here. Most are travel speed feats, not combat speed feats. Like, looking at Diana blocking a shower of maybe lightspeed attacks, whereas Raditz straight dodges them and is able to react to block them, and he's far weaker than the rest of the saiyans. Not 1/10th the power/speed of Vegeta I don't think it's necessarily 1 sided, but I think the Z warriors may have put up a better fight than the DCAU would be able to. J'onn may be able to pull some martial fuckery to win though, with his intangibility and psychic attacks hax. Depends on how well those work on the saiyans
This matchup reminds me of the S-Class heroes from OPM vs the Saiyans. The S-Class might take down Saibamen but Nappa is too much for them. Then Blast shows up and then slams them. In this instance, DCAU Superman is Blast.
They would kill everyone and then kill the villains after . The problem the league would also face , is that these guys are trying to kill them , not beat them . I really don’t think anyone but Superman could stand up to them
This has got me thinking of two questions. 1. If the league (and more specifically, Superman) could stop the Sayains, what about them versus the Frieza force at large 2. What about the Z fighters vs the Thanagarian invasion from the end of season 2 or the Apokolips invasion from the end of unlimited.

He could find ways to neutralize or absorb ki. He could use more esoteric and obscure techniques like the mafuba. He could find a way to negate the oozaru form. Yeah nah, heavily disagree. I think you vastly overwanked the DCAU league, they are nowhere near that strong. I do agree with their speed though, I do think at their high ends the top tiers are around relativistic to FTL with non-jobbing Flash slightly breaking into MFTL. However, The DCAU League is constantly damaged and hurt by building level attacks, and anything higher typically requires insane amps. Flash nearly destroyed himself when he fought Brainiac-Luthor and it's debatable if he was even going light speed, let alone FTL. The Flash also jobs heavily in the show, he and Superman are the two biggest jobbers. Like, I don't know how you can say Superman is even country level when going all out against Darkseid he just busted a few buildings. It's also pretty clear that the GL rings massively boost each other, considering none of them are normally capable of even country level attacks, and it took 14 of them (all of these GL were also top of the top of the GL power rankings) using all of their combined power just to destroy half a planet. That statement about 1000 lanterns is also either a nonsensical line from the writers who don't understand just how big the sun is, or the character who said it used 1000 as a random large number. Another thing is using that statement about how "nothing can kill Darkseid" and taking it literally is ridiculous. Then you use scans of a comic that came out DECADES after that episode aired and pretended it applied. Like, no, DCAU Darkseid cannot tank solar system destroying missiles. Did you forget how Darkseid died originally or? Hell, there IS a character in the DCAU that would effortlessly kill Darkseid, and it's Amazo. Amazo literally neg'd the entire Justice League Unlimited and the GL Corp while Darkseid got bullied by Superman. That's not even bringing up the recent comic where DCAU Amazo literally remade the multiverse. One final point I want to bring up is Doomsday. Did you forget about the DCAU Doomsday movie? Yeah, Doomsday nearly killed Superman in that movie and he didn't do it with star busting attacks. Hell, Superman killed Doomsday by flying into the stratosphere then turning around and slamming him down into the Earth. Doomsday is obviously comparable to Superman, so no, Superman is not a solar system level fighter. How this would actually go is that Nappa would raise his fingers and instantly vaporize 99% of the Justice League except for maybe Superman, Martian Manhunter, and Green Lantern. Then Nappa would just kill them afterwards. The only possible argument you could make for the DCAU Justice League to win is if they had Amazo, but he's not a member nor does he have any reason to help them.
Superman Doomsday is not in the same continuity as the DCAU; Lois, Lex, pretty much all of the cast look and sound different from their DCAU counterparts.

I watched a video quite recently in which they gave a power level to Superman, but it was that of the comic books and most likely of silver age (showing feats like Superboy, not Superman yet, dragging the weight of an entire galaxy to put all those planets and star on another section of the universe). The power level given was well above the trillions, if that is so there would be nothing that these three saiyans could do against the man of steel, including the fact that the saiyan cannot know that there's a substance named kryptonite that weaken him to the extreme.
And namek saga frieza was stated to be easy universal in second form although you want argue that version is overpowered dc caps at 6d and goku was able to lift a black hole later off of himself witch would be way more impressive or beerus being able to destroy stars and solar systems just with sneeze on accident or goku shaking a infinite sized realm just by power up or gotanks effecting reality just by existing or goku and beerus going to destroy the entire macrocosam just with punches and on accident so sorry burst your bubble but dbz is way more op

While you are already mentioning abilities that we see later on as they already progressed tremendously, starting with Frieza's levels as he transforms (into any of his forms), and therest that you mention is the progress some characters get in Dragonball Super, and when the series is already advanced enough.

I'm a fan of both and this is pretty true, DCAU Superman may often appear weak, but then you remember you only see him use his full power once to fight what is essentially a god. You'd need to put them up against the Z fighters during Super to even make this fair.
The wild part is that even radditz could be argued to be low planet level with how far beyond the moon busters from og dragon ball he was, and even nappa is at least twice as strong as him.

Considering these guys wash the saiyans, my main question is how they'd do vs noteworthy Frieza Force soldiers or Frieza himself. If they wash one arc, it makes sense that they may or may not be able to contend with the following one, even though the Namek arc has some WILD power level jumps. Ginyu Force might be where it's at honestly.
Always wondered why the DC characters never keeps their power ups after a massive DC event and always defaults back “normal” scaling. Shonen manga ALWAYS keeps the gained power ups.
Well, with more recent stories, those amped levels of power actually just become their new base over time. For example if the current Martian where to fight the same version of himself from the 2003 run of JLA where he became Furnace for a time, Manhunter would just blink and 2003 Furnace would just implode. There's been numerous stories that suggest DC Heroes and Villains just become considerably stronger with the passage of time and experience (which yes, includes Batman)
The problem is with the dc AU is that everyone gets electrified and hurt pretty much every episode even superman and especially Martian man-hunter. Flash may be 10s or maybe 100s or 1000s+ times faster than light speed if he goes all out but the problem is he's always making clumsy mistakes and ends up falling. The truth is that nappa and vegeta could just destroy the planet and kill them all and one tap all the justice league expect for maybe superman. I'm sure that vegeta master battle iq would be able to figure out that superman's power comes from the sun so vegeta and nappa could just destroy the sun then. I feel like batman with preparation and the lead of the justice league might give them a chance. The earthling had 1 year to train and prepare so if you give that to the justice league then they actually could have a good chance. But if the saiyans casually jumps the planet, I fail to see how the justice league won't become Canon fodder.

No he didn't, rewatch that episode. GL believed his attack was redirected and hit a volcanic fault line that caused a chain reaction. In truth, the planet wasn't destroyed at all and it was a ruse, but even if it did happen GL still wouldn't be a planet buster.
Having more AP does not equal more speed. Just look at ssj grade 3 more power but they’re slower so they don’t use it. Also Ozaru maintains the same speed as base but with more AP
That's because the body shape changes, which affects speed. When they keep a slim body shape their speed goes up with their power level. Not necessarily 1:1 since speed specialists exist but it's at least that their speed is generally higher to some degree when they raise their level without bulky muscles.

Its become so boring to power scale to anything DC related anymore because Superman is almost always an unstoppable cosmic force that moves faster than god and punches so hard it becomes meaningless. It was interesting to see the other league members scaling but in the back of my mind its always yea but Superman.

He need only become intangible and mind control the saiyans. He could reprogram them on the spot to be heroes if he even wanted. Even if you lowball them Animated Justice leagues have a good chance of stopping them due to just the sheer variety of abilities and options the entire team processes. Some that the saiyans don't really have a counter or resistance against.
"I couldn't use the comics version, they'd just win" well that tells you everything you need to know. The original and definitive versions of the characters would stomp the saiyans.

Honestly, I think there are a few things neglected in the speed calcs. For 1, Saiyans can reach their max speed almost instantly. They have virtually no acceleration time, and all of the league does have acceleration time that would hold them back. Their travel speed being light speed is 1 thing, but their combat speed is much slower. For instance, while Diana is able to block light speed attacks, the justice league members have all had trouble dodging lightspeed attacks, a feat that even OG dragonball characters can do. Darkside's eye beam attack with a name I'm forgetting (is it negative beam?) was dodged by Batman, but is a move virtually nobody else has ever been able to dodge, showing that combat speed is still more relative to the levels of human perception, even among the strongest persons in the DCAU. This isn't so for dragonball as early as the first tournament, where "Jackie Chun" and Krillin fought so fast, the battle was over in 1 second but the replay for the crowd lasted a few minutes. Granted, Dragonball had a lot of inconsistencies early on. Still, outside of quotes and distance travel, there are few real examples of power or speed feats on the saiyan level, where even Nappa can escape the perception, both visual and sensing, of characters like Tien, who were already nearly double the power of the light speed attack dodging Raditz. The potential for the JLU is there, but they just haven't shown off to really be capable of flipping a switch to go from 0 to 100 like they'd need for this. Even Superman's strongest punch on Darkside only created a shockwave that destroyed a couple city blocks, so I have to wonder if he's really stronger than Nappa, who destroyed a whole city with the flick of his wrist. That said, maybe the fact that he did that with a punches impact and punches in DragonBall rarely reverberate outward to destroy things around them shows that Superman is, physically, far stronger than the saiyans. But then again, that could also be because the saiyans control their energy a lot better and focus all their energy into the point of their impact. This said, hawk girl's feat for reflecting planet busters is pretty cool and seems well attributed to the attributes of her mace. Not necessarily a power feat, as it would be far too dangerous to use against mortal enemies if she was always swinging around a planet buster level weapon, but it seems more like a natural property to repel any force. Give that to Superman and then we'd have a fun match where saiyan ki attacks are useless. But, again, it may come down to acceleration time for combat speed being a weakness for DCAU-verse characters
The power inflation in the dragon ball ip is pure insanity. Supernova,Hypernova, entire solar systems being violently ripped and tossed out of the galactic plane. All because of random and unintentional sneezes and farts.

Like how the metal could withstand that and how the torque would be fine for the bench itself to hold. He's got a housekey that's made of "dwarf star material" and so weighs half a ton.. in his back pocket. Putting aside if that could even keep its shape weighing that much, or even if it would be strong enough to turn a lock, he takes off HOW fast? and his back pocket is supposed to then tolerate HOW much acceleration against that? At least in DBZ when their fists collide and ground gives way, shockwaves sometimes cause long ranging destruction a lot of the time. I watched superman fighting someone and the guy was like "wow that's like 20 supernovas to the face" but it was just 2 dudes punching each other in a field visually. Not saying that DB never phones it in, but I hope you get what I mean

Well, in Dragon Ball, it's stated that a power level of 10,000 is the minimum to bust planets. Nappa's power level is 4,000, so he's getting dogwalked here. Vegeta's power level is 24,000 in base, with the Oozaru transformation being a 10× multiplier. But even if they couldn't handle Great Ape Vegeta's power of 240,000, I'm sure someone (probably Batman) could figure out that his tail is the key to the transformation.
A thing to note with that statement it that it likely referring to larger planets as stuff like planets earth in dragon ball are referred as “small” planet
@@johnss9114 A bunch of people have been saying the same thing, but I just don't get where that idea comes from. 10,000 is the stated minimum to destroy a planet; not a large planet, not an average planet, just _a_ planet. Reasonably, bigger planets would require you to scale up from there, instead of trying to scale down because Earth is a "small" planet.
You are aware it takes part of what 10 thousand destroy in average size planet. Earth is Small Planet. Which Nappa Could easily Destroy. Early Dragonball Roshi Could destroy the earth through Calcs
they possibly be even stronger if raditz gives the League a heads up batman would have some armor or inject himself with something to be on par with rest of league, even some backup plan that the league wouldn't agree on. Can't really count Batman out in this.
One of the things too that I think is overlooked is while Great Ape Vegeta is vastly more powerful than his base, his fight with a weakened and worn out Goku really showed that he's a giant walking weak spot. Anything a beat and battered Goku could do to Vegeta, a fresh and far more powerful Superman would exploit those same weaknesses and send him packing.
You cannot rely on some lines saying "faster than the speed of light" because they use it so much. Even in superhero comic books, Terrax was one time said that he stroke to ground at the speed of light, but then the Fantastic Four defeated him. So you could get to the wrong conclusion that the Fantastic Four move faster than the speed of light which is false. (It was just a very exagerated statement in a comics pannel).
The FF having FTL/MFTL+ speeds holds up when you have to consider Ben Grimm pretty regularly puts hands on the Surfer whose able to fight comparable to his own flight speeds given his few bouts with Thor. Reed has also demonstrated being able to wrap himself around Galactus faster than the Big G is able to perceive and even hold him, albeit briefly. and Sue straight up uses light-based abilities with Johnny also being able to tail Surfer in flight. That isn't even getting into the fact that certain characters the FF have been able to put hands on have beyond finite speed feats.

It would be super dumb from a writing perspective to have every character legitimately be able to move at MFTL speeds because that raises the floor of power scaling the fictional world in question such that even human bank robbers who land a hit on these supposedly MFTL characters would have to be scaled to MFTL level as well. It's just plot contrivance when dumb shit like low level jobbers tagging MFTL characters happens.
While interesting, discussions like this are always pointless. "Superman beats everyone" is ALWAYS the last factor. Everything else is entirely irrelevant.
In the original dragon ball , goku is complaining how slow he was moving, and yamcha says why he complained moves faster than speed of light. Tien vs. goku 2nd fight.
There are other factors I feel you are leaving out, if you are putting the Sayains/Freeza Force into the DC Universe. Being a space faring race... they would likely know of things like Kryptonians and Martians and their weakneesses. You only go strenth v strenght. You completely leave out weakenesses the characters have, limits they have; and most of all the intellgence of both sides. Vegeta is a master tacticain. He plans out every move he makes. There are a lot of factors that go into a fight that have nothing to do with power scaling.
Vegeta is very cocky and I really hesitate to call him a master tactician. As a sayian I find it extremely unlikely that vegeta especially sayian saga vegeta would ever try to weaken his opponent as he is so full of himself. Literally weaker characters than the JL were able to beat him because of his cockiness.

Easily explained by the fact that Green Lanterns need to focus on damage to neutralize it. If you catch them off guard, they're just what the regular durability of their specific species allows. Which isn't that big of a nerf considering Ki works the exact same way
Green lanterns don't have an always on passive no sell durability. Frankly it was more ridiculous for him and superman to be taken hostage by sleeping gas during the Imperium invasion. Even though green lantern has a literal force field that protect him from environmental hazard by design and Superman could have just held his breath.

Amazon could unironically destroy the saiyans, but I think the speed feats are a bit off here. Most are travel speed feats, not combat speed feats. Like, looking at Diana blocking a shower of maybe lightspeed attacks, whereas Raditz straight dodges them and is able to react to block them, and he's far weaker than the rest of the saiyans. Not 1/10th the power/speed of Vegeta
I don't think it's necessarily 1 sided, but I think the Z warriors may have put up a better fight than the DCAU would be able to.

This matchup reminds me of the S-Class heroes from OPM vs the Saiyans. The S-Class might take down Saibamen but Nappa is too much for them. Then Blast shows up and then slams them.

I think you vastly overwanked the DCAU league, they are nowhere near that strong. I do agree with their speed though, I do think at their high ends the top tiers are around relativistic to FTL with non-jobbing Flash slightly breaking into MFTL. However, The DCAU League is constantly damaged and hurt by building level attacks, and anything higher typically requires insane amps. Flash nearly destroyed himself when he fought Brainiac-Luthor and it's debatable if he was even going light speed, let alone FTL. The Flash also jobs heavily in the show, he and Superman are the two biggest jobbers. Like, I don't know how you can say Superman is even country level when going all out against Darkseid he just busted a few buildings.
It's also pretty clear that the GL rings massively boost each other, considering none of them are normally capable of even country level attacks, and it took 14 of them (all of these GL were also top of the top of the GL power rankings) using all of their combined power just to destroy half a planet. That statement about 1000 lanterns is also either a nonsensical line from the writers who don't understand just how big the sun is, or the character who said it used 1000 as a random large number.
Another thing is using that statement about how "nothing can kill Darkseid" and taking it literally is ridiculous. Then you use scans of a comic that came out DECADES after that episode aired and pretended it applied. Like, no, DCAU Darkseid cannot tank solar system destroying missiles. Did you forget how Darkseid died originally or? Hell, there IS a character in the DCAU that would effortlessly kill Darkseid, and it's Amazo. Amazo literally neg'd the entire Justice League Unlimited and the GL Corp while Darkseid got bullied by Superman. That's not even bringing up the recent comic where DCAU Amazo literally remade the multiverse.
One final point I want to bring up is Doomsday. Did you forget about the DCAU Doomsday movie? Yeah, Doomsday nearly killed Superman in that movie and he didn't do it with star busting attacks. Hell, Superman killed Doomsday by flying into the stratosphere then turning around and slamming him down into the Earth. Doomsday is obviously comparable to Superman, so no, Superman is not a solar system level fighter.
How this would actually go is that Nappa would raise his fingers and instantly vaporize 99% of the Justice League except for maybe Superman, Martian Manhunter, and Green Lantern. Then Nappa would just kill them afterwards. The only possible argument you could make for the DCAU Justice League to win is if they had Amazo, but he's not a member nor does he have any reason to help them.
Superman Doomsday is not in the same continuity as the DCAU; Lois, Lex, pretty much all of the cast look and sound different from their DCAU counterparts.

Reminds me of VSBW for insane wanking and using vague, exaggerated statements to make characters look more powerful than they are. I’ve seen the JL and JLU cartoons many times and they are nowhere near the strength they’re getting wanked to in this video.
I watched a video quite recently in which they gave a power level to Superman, but it was that of the comic books and most likely of silver age (showing feats like Superboy, not Superman yet, dragging the weight of an entire galaxy to put all those planets and star on another section of the universe). The power level given was well above the trillions, if that is so there would be nothing that these three saiyans could do against the man of steel, including the fact that the saiyan cannot know that there's a substance named kryptonite that weaken him to the extreme.

And namek saga frieza was stated to be easy universal in second form although you want argue that version is overpowered dc caps at 6d and goku was able to lift a black hole later off of himself witch would be way more impressive or beerus being able to destroy stars and solar systems just with sneeze on accident or goku shaking a infinite sized realm just by power up or gotanks effecting reality just by existing or goku and beerus going to destroy the entire macrocosam just with punches and on accident so sorry burst your bubble but dbz is way more op

While you are already mentioning abilities that we see later on as they already progressed tremendously, starting with Frieza's levels as he transforms (into any of his forms), and therest that you mention is the progress some characters get in Dragonball Super, and when the series is already advanced enough.

I'm a fan of both and this is pretty true, DCAU Superman may often appear weak, but then you remember you only see him use his full power once to fight what is essentially a god. You'd need to put them up against the Z fighters during Super to even make this fair.
The wild part is that even radditz could be argued to be low planet level with how far beyond the moon busters from og dragon ball he was, and even nappa is at least twice as strong as him.

Considering these guys wash the saiyans, my main question is how they'd do vs noteworthy Frieza Force soldiers or Frieza himself. If they wash one arc, it makes sense that they may or may not be able to contend with the following one, even though the Namek arc has some WILD power level jumps. Ginyu Force might be where it's at honestly.

The problem is with the dc AU is that everyone gets electrified and hurt pretty much every episode even superman and especially Martian man-hunter.
Flash may be 10s or maybe 100s or 1000s+ times faster than light speed if he goes all out but the problem is he's always making clumsy mistakes and ends up falling. The truth is that nappa and vegeta could just destroy the planet and kill them all and one tap all the justice league expect for maybe superman.
I'm sure that vegeta master battle iq would be able to figure out that superman's power comes from the sun so vegeta and nappa could just destroy the sun then.
I feel like batman with preparation and the lead of the justice league might give them a chance.

No he didn't, rewatch that episode. GL believed his attack was redirected and hit a volcanic fault line that caused a chain reaction. In truth, the planet wasn't destroyed at all and it was a ruse, but even if it did happen GL still wouldn't be a planet buster.

That's because the body shape changes, which affects speed. When they keep a slim body shape their speed goes up with their power level. Not necessarily 1:1 since speed specialists exist but it's at least that their speed is generally higher to some degree when they raise their level without bulky muscles.

Moon level scaling for Saiyan Saga characters like the Saiyans themselves is blatantly ignoring writers intent. If the King Vegeta feat is calced at dwarf star level, then at the very least Vegeta upscale from there.
Raditz and Nappa take out the garbage, Vegeta shoots the fair one with Supes, loses, then they realize the have to jump. supes prevails with an astonishing reverse jump.

Ya this is a fun fight! Super man is definitely ending the fight, because after Vegeta and Nappa most likely takes the rest of the league out. It’s reasonable to believe that they will be exhausted and honestly Superman won’t have to do much.
Its become so boring to power scale to anything DC related anymore because Superman is almost always an unstoppable cosmic force that moves faster than god and punches so hard it becomes meaningless. Even if you lowball them Animated Justice leagues have a good chance of stopping them due to just the sheer variety of abilities and options the entire team processes. Some that the saiyans don't really have a counter or resistance against.
"I couldn't use the comics version, they'd just win" well that tells you everything you need to know. The original and definitive versions of the characters would stomp the saiyans.

Honestly, I think there are a few things neglected in the speed calcs. For 1, Saiyans can reach their max speed almost instantly. They have virtually no acceleration time, and all of the league does have acceleration time that would hold them back. Their travel speed being light speed is 1 thing, but their combat speed is much slower. For instance, while Diana is able to block light speed attacks, the justice league members have all had trouble dodging lightspeed attacks, a feat that even OG dragonball characters can do. Darkside's eye beam attack with a name I'm forgetting (is it negative beam?) was dodged by Batman, but is a move virtually nobody else has ever been able to dodge, showing that combat speed is still more relative to the levels of human perception, even among the strongest persons in the DCAU. This isn't so for dragonball as early as the first tournament, where "Jackie Chun" and Krillin fought so fast, the battle was over in 1 second but the replay for the crowd lasted a few minutes. Granted, Dragonball had a lot of inconsistencies early on. Still, outside of quotes and distance travel, there are few real examples of power or speed feats on the saiyan level, where even Nappa can escape the perception, both visual and sensing, of characters like Tien, who were already nearly double the power of the light speed attack dodging Raditz.
The potential for the JLU is there, but they just haven't shown off to really be capable of flipping a switch to go from 0 to 100 like they'd need for this. Even Superman's strongest punch on Darkside only created a shockwave that destroyed a couple city blocks, so I have to wonder if he's really stronger than Nappa, who destroyed a whole city with the flick of his wrist. That said, maybe the fact that he did that with a punches impact and punches in DragonBall rarely reverberate outward to destroy things around them shows that Superman is, physically, far stronger than the saiyans. But then again, that could also be because the saiyans control their energy a lot better and focus all their energy into the point of their impact.
This said, hawk girl's feat for reflecting planet busters is pretty cool and seems well attributed to the attributes of her mace. Not necessarily a power feat, as it would be far too dangerous to use against mortal enemies if she was always swinging around a planet buster level weapon, but it seems more like a natural property to repel any force. Give that to Superman and then we'd have a fun match where saiyan ki attacks are useless. But, again, it may come down to acceleration time for combat speed being a weakness for DCAU-verse characters

Like how the metal could withstand that and how the torque would be fine for the bench itself to hold. He's got a housekey that's made of "dwarf star material" and so weighs half a ton.. in his back pocket. Putting aside if that could even keep its shape weighing that much, or even if it would be strong enough to turn a lock, he takes off HOW fast? and his back pocket is supposed to then tolerate HOW much acceleration against that? At least in DBZ when their fists collide and ground gives way, shockwaves sometimes cause long ranging destruction a lot of the time. I watched superman fighting someone and the guy was like "wow that's like 20 supernovas to the face" but it was just 2 dudes punching each other in a field visually. Not saying that DB never phones it in, but I hope you get what I mean

Well, in Dragon Ball, it's stated that a power level of 10,000 is the minimum to bust planets. Nappa's power level is 4,000, so he's getting dogwalked here.
Vegeta's power level is 24,000 in base, with the Oozaru transformation being a 10× multiplier. But even if they couldn't handle Great Ape Vegeta's power of 240,000, I'm sure someone (probably Batman) could figure out that his tail is the key to the transformation.

Reasonably, bigger planets would require you to scale up from there, instead of trying to scale down because Earth is a "small" planet.

One of the things too that I think is overlooked is while Great Ape Vegeta is vastly more powerful than his base, his fight with a weakened and worn out Goku really showed that he's a giant walking weak spot. Anything a beat and battered Goku could do to Vegeta, a fresh and far more powerful Superman would exploit those same weaknesses and send him packing.
You cannot rely on some lines saying "faster than the speed of light" because they use it so much. Even in superhero comic books, Terrax was one time said that he stroke to ground at the speed of light, but then the Fantastic Four defeated him. So you could get to the wrong conclusion that the Fantastic Four move faster than the speed of light which is false. (It was just a very exagerated statement in a comics pannel).
The FF having FTL/MFTL+ speeds holds up when you have to consider Ben Grimm pretty regularly puts hands on the Surfer whose able to fight comparable to his own flight speeds given his few bouts with Thor. Reed has also demonstrated being able to wrap himself around Galactus faster than the Big G is able to perceive and even hold him, albeit briefly. and Sue straight up uses light-based abilities with Johnny also being able to tail Surfer in flight. That isn't even getting into the fact that certain characters the FF have been able to put hands on have beyond finite speed feats.

It would be super dumb from a writing perspective to have every character legitimately be able to move at MFTL speeds because that raises the floor of power scaling the fictional world in question such that even human bank robbers who land a hit on these supposedly MFTL characters would have to be scaled to MFTL level as well. It's just plot contrivance when dumb shit like low level jobbers tagging MFTL characters happens.

There are other factors I feel you are leaving out, if you are putting the Sayains/Freeza Force into the DC Universe. Being a space faring race... they would likely know of things like Kryptonians and Martians and their weakneesses. You only go strenth v strenght. You completely leave out weakenesses the characters have, limits they have; and most of all the intellgence of both sides. Vegeta is a master tacticain. He plans out every move he makes. There are a lot of factors that go into a fight that have nothing to do with power scaling.
Vegeta is very cocky and I really hesitate to call him a master tactician. As a sayian I find it extremely unlikely that vegeta especially sayian saga vegeta would ever try to weaken his opponent as he is so full of himself. Literally weaker characters than the JL were able to beat him because of his cockiness.
