Plus beeing cocky is 99% of Homelander's character, he never had a true figth or got hurt really badly before. Wolverine can get close to figth Cyclops. That in itself negates Homelander's heat vision, the moment he gets close or Homelander thinks "Fuck it i wil just kill him with my hands" he will be ripped limb from limb before he can do anything. Wolverine's claws can piercing the Hulk's skin, even thor in one story got stabbed by him. Not only that in a what if comic Wolverine managed to cut off one of Thor's arms.
Homelander has never seen adamantium before he would probably let Wolverine hit him assuming that he would not be cut that mistake would cost him his life.

I hate when a superhero randomly reacts to a laser and then all of a sudden they have lightspeed reactions even though the rest of the time they are on screen they have fairly normal reaction speed. Like wolverine does get hit in these movies, if he had lightspeed reactions he would literally be unhittable and wouldnt need a healing factor really. Like remove that one scene and his reactions are fairly slow. Not arguing that homelander wins but this is something that always annoyed me about power scaling.
His reaction speed is indeed light sped or close but his body is not that fast. So obviously even if he saw an attack coming he may not be able to stop it

Saying Wolverine has "town level" durability because he survived The Little Boy is wild cause youre ignoring the fact he was nowhere near the epicenter of the blast. Due to inverse square law, someone just 10 meters away from an explosion would take hundreds of less of the actual yield and he was much further than that. He has better durability feats than that like you said but that was a nitpick I had.
That's not how escape velocity works. Escape velocity is the speed you would need from the ground to overcome gravity and escape earths gravitational well. So to jump out of earths orbit I would need to jump at Mach 33; that would give me enough initial speed to overcome all the slowing down that gravity would do to me on the way out of earths gravity. Homelander can fly he doesn't need to have a high initial velocity he just needs to continue accelerating upwards faster than the downwards acceleration of gravity (9.8 m/s^2).

Okay let's be real, there's no way Wolverine could REALLY kill Jean Grey, especially Phoenix (her dark and ruthless side that's capable of utilizing her powers to their fullest extent) if she didn't allow it. That barrier wasn't even active during Wolverine's approach and he wouldn't even be capable of passing through it if it was. He can't do nothing to Magnetto and The Phoenix trumps him and Professor X combined. Jean Gray interfered which allowed Wolverine to kill her, which was the only way and is what Jean wanted, because the Phoenix could NOT be stopped otherwise.

I am tired of people saying that you need mach 33 to get into space. You don't. Escape velocity means going so fast you can escape earths gravity. Getting into space, or orbit, doesn't require those speeds. Weather balloons have made it to space. You can technically get into space moving very slowly. You just need to not stop. Homelander has constant thrust. He just has to keep flying up. Mach 33 is the speed if you were launching his corpse from a cannon.

This is a good video, but I think you highball Logan and lowball Homelander. First the bomb feat doesn’t get Logan to town level by itself. He wasn’t directly hit by the blast and it was far away, and thus he only took a small portion of that force. Second, HL is above city block. The statements have him at multi-city block+ at a bare minimum.
If you let loose the Wolverine in The Boys Universe, he could probably hunt down and kill every single supe that exists in it, Homelander included. It would play out like the first act of a Terminator movie, with everyone trying and failing to stop this unstopable force, then just doing their best to get the hell out its way.
I do think the scaling for Homelander's speed is quite generous here because the escape velocity is only really relevant if you're basically assuming freefall, but Homelander has shown that he can just hover wherever he wants. That means Homelander could just go up to space at a ridiculously slow 1 foot per second, if he had the patience, and he could easily escape Earth's gravity doing this. The thing I don't know is whether asphyxiation is a problem for Homelander because if it is, maybe he does actually need to have escape velocityish speeds or even faster to make it to space and back without dying.
Homelander has brutal laser eyes with fantastic precision and is fairly fast for a nerfed parody of Superman. I don't think he could take trading blows with Wolverine given his adamantium but if Homelander knew what he was getting himself into he may stand a chance. He'd have to grab Wolverine as quickly as possible, restrain his hands and fly him into space and then hurl him into the sun. I don't think Homelander would think about this form of strategy because he has way too big of an ego and narcissism to not underestimate Wolverine which would allow Logan the chance to slash away.

No he can't, Wolverine can dodge Cyclops in a true fight. Dodging homelander's heat vision would be child's play in comparrison and even if it hits him he will not die. If Homelander use this strategy it will be a stalemate. But since he is so arrogant he will try to kill Logan with his hands. The moment he does that he is dead or mortaly wounded.

No offense, man, but I notice a few inconsistent scaling in this video: 1. Homelander's Attack Potency actually got a decent upgrade. The chemical plant explosion feat was previously calc'ed to be 43 Tons of TNT, however, as of recently, it's been boosted to be around 289 Tons of TNT, which is Multi-City Block level. You can get him even higher than this, as due to being the strongest Supe, he is stronger than Nubia, who created a thunderstorm that was calc'ed to be in the Large Town level ranges. 2. Wolverine didn't tank the full blast of the Hiroshima bomb, he only got struck by a small amount of it. If here were any closer to the nuclear weapon, he would've been vaporized, since he didn't have his Adamantium claws and skeleton at the time. I understand that his healing factor is pretty strong, but I highly doubt he would've regenerated from being turned to ash from the bomb.

That scan of Wolverine regenerating from a drop of blood is not a common display of his healing factor. It was only temporarily enhanced by an alien crystal, and he hasn't healed like that since.
It’s always tricky with those super-man like “heroes”, we can’t be sure if adamantium claw’s combined with Logan’s *merely above average* human strength can penetrate HL’s skin, he is definitely more durable than HL, but HL has (at minimum) 5x more raw strength than Logan, if HL gets his first shot at Logan he could *at least* knock him out instantly (same with Hulk I reckon) and then do with him whatever while he’s out.. Though, even if Logan couldn’t penetrate the skin tissue of HL, I think he could shove his claw into his soft tissue like eye/ear/a-hole (lol), like queen meave did that one time, and end the fight that way.

Well the missile silo he was raised in had a nuke rigged to detonate as a failsafe in case he escaped containment before the could condition him for obiedience. So, at least as a child they were certain it'd kill him.
Homelander can fly. If for some reason Wolverine's first attack didn't kill him all he'd have to do is grab Wolverine by the forearms and throw him in space or the ocean. Also he'd just have to fly out of Wolverine's leaping range and drop a bus on him to knock him out and then throw him. Logan is still able to be knocked unconscious. This is all considering that Homelander is a smart fighter though, he'd probably just try to laser him and then get decapitated.
Homelander survived a nuke, like without a scratch on his skin.. it’s mentioned in the show. But then there’s scenes where he’s gets bloody noses just from being punched in the face, same as Wolverine though, they’re both very inconsistent
Homelander is stronger, but he's also arrogant enough to let Wolverine hit him, and Wolverines Adamantium claws would slice through Homelander like butter. Also there is the likelyhood Homelander could just break his hand if he hit Wolverine hard enough due to the indestructible Adamantium bones.
Only way people gonna realize that homelander would easily take this fight is if they make a movie where they can do more extreme stuff like lift cars in the air, casually flip them with one hand, tanking nukes, seeing him go into space etc. the show definitely make it hard to scale homelander when there being so grounded yet tell us the craziest stuff he's survived/how much strength he actually have Because apparently Mm state soldier boy casually tossed a damn car with one hand yet we don't feel that lvl of strength when he's fighting which is inconsistent but i guess the show still wanna stick to more grounded fights
His strength isn’t the problem…we’ve seen supes like Sam toss cars around like they are toys and homelander scales way above him. Homelander is much stronger and much more durable, the only problem is that wolverine can regenerate and keep coming back, and also just cut through honelander with his admantium claws (presumably)

@@starbirds2464 Hulk was always vulnerable to piercing attacks and slashing, the movie Hulk showed hulk get cut on the shoulder by shrapnel or injured by military weapons problem was it never puts him down. These things supposedly don't effect homelander which should scale his durability pass base Hulk. Are theoretical Homelander already is scaling above base Hulk in terms of durability. we can't use Hulk as a stepping stone to determine whether wolverine can cut through him because Homelander is more durable then base Hulk, by how much? 🤷♂️ but wolverine would need more strength behind attacks to cut homelander. The guy in the video is half right about wolverine attack power but he misses key factors which is Wolverine need more strength but then again he is scaling homelander to the show which in that case Wolverine will solo the boys universe if we're scaling based of the grounded version of homelander that is shown for entertainment and drama. It's hard to scale characters when there forced to be grounded for budget or plot but at least the show has enough curticy to tell us how strong he's supposed to be.
How does everyone get this wrong?! Escape velocity is for an object where its deccelerating under earth's gravity and no further accelerating force is acting on it. For a body like homelander that can accelerate mid air at will as long as he is producing above "g" acceleration he can reach any height he wants, his speed is a non factor.
you know homelander can fly, right? mach 33 is what's needed for an object, without additional propulsion, to not only reach 100 kilometers above the surface-space-but to go an infinite distance from earth; to escape its gravity well altogether. that's why it's called _"escape_ velocity," and not "just above the karman line velocity."
The amount of people here thinking that Wolverin could beat Homelander is preposterous. Homelander can resist nuclear blasts without his skin beeing even slighty excoriated. The fact that Wolvy has adamantium claws doen't mean he has the force necessary to pierce Homelander's skin (as does Mave). Also, Homelander can easily immobilise Wolvy, restrain him, fly him in the atmosfere and kick him out in space.
Remember that in the "Days of future past" comics. Every single cell on Wolverines body was vaporised by a sentinel laser, instantly killing him...if homelanders laser is strong enough, it could do the same.

Just so everybody knows, at least in the comics. Wolverine tried to fight rune King Thor. Wolverine chopped off rune King Thor's arm. Rural King Thor then picked his arm back up. Then put it back on his body and melted Wolverine with an Odin Force plasma beam from his eyes putting Wolverine down and neutralizing him.
The problem is Wolverine faced Hulk and Juggernaut and lived to tell about it , Homelander gets ONE stab in the chest or head at one point and its over. Homelander isnt very strong in the boys despite the "nuke" claim , he hasnt shown anything close to it and we see this in the Butcher and Hughie or the tower , they havent even leveled the bulding so its BS and has been hurt by other characters . I hate when a superhero randomly reacts to a laser and then all of a sudden they have lightspeed reactions even though the rest of the time they are on screen they have fairly normal reaction speed. Like wolverine does get hit in these movies, if he had lightspeed reactions he would literally be unhittable and wouldnt need a healing factor really. That's not how escape velocity works. Escape velocity is the speed you would need from the ground to overcome gravity and escape earths gravitational well. So to jump out of earths orbit I would need to jump at Mach 33; that would give me enough initial speed to overcome all the slowing down that gravity would do to me on the way out of earths gravity. Homelander can fly he doesn't need to have a high initial velocity he just needs to continue accelerating upwards faster than the downwards acceleration of gravity (9.8 m/s^2).
nobody who scales the boys actually watched the show. they just yoink their scaling from others without fact checking anything. the mach 33 thing has been debunked for years, yet it's still being passed around in video after video.
If you can only fly 1 ft per minute upwards, you will eventually reach space, no acceleration needed.

Jean has a higher power set than both magneto and charles, yes. However, in the movie, she was lost to her power. I.e. she wasn't thinking, just acting. And that action was to destroy everything around her. She didn't "let" Wolverine do anything. It just so happens that his powers were able to withstand that particular destructive force she was unleashing. She had a brief moment of lucidity before he killed her, but prior to she was going all out. In this circumstance, much like the circumstance of the confined space, Wolverine beats Jean, just as the bull beats a tiger. The point was to highlight how flawed the logic of "A beats B, and B beats C, so A must beat C" is when considering a multitude of variables and factors that can alter the results.

I am tired of people saying that you need mach 33 to get into space. You don't. Escape velocity means going so fast you can escape earths gravity. Getting into space, or orbit, doesn't require those speeds. Weather balloons have made it to space. You can technically get into space moving very slowly. You just need to not stop. Homelander has constant thrust. He just has to keep flying up. Mach 33 is the speed if you were launching his corpse from a cannon.

This is a good video, but I think you highball Logan and lowball Homelander.
First the bomb feat doesn’t get Logan to town level by itself. He wasn’t directly hit by the blast and it was far away, and thus he only took a small portion of that force.
Second, HL is above city block. The statements have him at multi-city block+ at a bare minimum.
If you let loose the Wolverine in The Boys Universe, he could probably hunt down and kill every single supe that exists in it, Homelander included. It would play out like the first act of a Terminator movie, with everyone trying and failing to stop this unstopable force, then just doing their best to get the hell out its way.

I do think the scaling for Homelander's speed is quite generous here because the escape velocity is only really relevant if you're basically assuming freefall, but Homelander has shown that he can just hover wherever he wants. That means Homelander could just go up to space at a ridiculously slow 1 foot per second, if he had the patience, and he could easily escape Earth's gravity doing this. The thing I don't know is whether asphyxiation is a problem for Homelander because if it is, maybe he does actually need to have escape velocityish speeds or even faster to make it to space and back without dying.
Homelander has brutal laser eyes with fantastic precision and is fairly fast for a nerfed parody of Superman. I don't think he could take trading blows with Wolverine given his adamantium but if Homelander knew what he was getting himself into he may stand a chance. He'd have to grab Wolverine as quickly as possible, restrain his hands and fly him into space and then hurl him into the sun. I don't think Homelander would think about this form of strategy because he has way too big of an ego and narcissism to not underestimate Wolverine which would allow Logan the chance to slash away.

No offense, man, but I notice a few inconsistent scaling in this video:
1. Homelander's Attack Potency actually got a decent upgrade. The chemical plant explosion feat was previously calc'ed to be 43 Tons of TNT, however, as of recently, it's been boosted to be around 289 Tons of TNT, which is Multi-City Block level. You can get him even higher than this, as due to being the strongest Supe, he is stronger than Nubia, who created a thunderstorm that was calc'ed to be in the Large Town level ranges.
2. Wolverine didn't tank the full blast of the Hiroshima bomb, he only got struck by a small amount of it. If here were any closer to the nuclear weapon, he would've been vaporized, since he didn't have his Adamantium claws and skeleton at the time. I understand that his healing factor is pretty strong, but I highly doubt he would've regenerated from being turned to ash from the bomb.

It’s always tricky with those super-man like “heroes”, we can’t be sure if adamantium claw’s combined with Logan’s *merely above average* human strength can penetrate HL’s skin, he is definitely more durable than HL, but HL has (at minimum) 5x more raw strength than Logan, if HL gets his first shot at Logan he could *at least* knock him out instantly (same with Hulk I reckon) and then do with him whatever while he’s out..
Though, even if Logan couldn’t penetrate the skin tissue of HL, I think he could shove his claw into his soft tissue like eye/ear/a-hole (lol), like queen meave did that one time, and end the fight that way.
ITS NOT MERELY ABOVE AVERAGE, OMG, adamantium its supeeeeer heavy, the simple fact that he can walk proves that he is super strong, with the adamantium he can withstand at least 10 tons without his bones and muscles hurting

Well the missile silo he was raised in had a nuke rigged to detonate as a failsafe in case he escaped containment before the could condition him for obiedience. So, at least as a child they were certain it'd kill him.

Homelander can fly. If for some reason Wolverine's first attack didn't kill him all he'd have to do is grab Wolverine by the forearms and throw him in space or the ocean. Also he'd just have to fly out of Wolverine's leaping range and drop a bus on him to knock him out and then throw him. Logan is still able to be knocked unconscious. This is all considering that Homelander is a smart fighter though, he'd probably just try to laser him and then get decapitated.
So can lots of mutants it's never been a problem before and Adamantium protects from bus hits.

Homelander survived a nuke, like without a scratch on his skin.. it’s mentioned in the show. But then there’s scenes where he’s gets bloody noses just from being punched in the face, same as Wolverine though, they’re both very inconsistent
Homelander is stronger, but he's also arrogant enough to let Wolverine hit him, and Wolverines Adamantium claws would slice through Homelander like butter. Also there is the likelyhood Homelander could just break his hand if he hit Wolverine hard enough due to the indestructible Adamantium bones.
Homelander is durable against blunt attacks. Piercing and cutting attacks from 3 Adamantium claws is a different thing.
Only way people gonna realize that homelander would easily take this fight is if they make a movie where they can do more extreme stuff like lift cars in the air, casually flip them with one hand, tanking nukes, seeing him go into space etc. the show definitely make it hard to scale homelander when there being so grounded yet tell us the craziest stuff he's survived/how much strength he actually have

Homelander is much stronger and much more durable, the only problem is that wolverine can regenerate and keep coming back, and also just cut through honelander with his admantium claws (presumably)

I can definitely see homelander using his x ray vision once he notice him not dying, seeing the metal over his bones in probably will eventually toss him in the ocean just to see if he can even swim with all that metal covering his bones. but that's only if he gets tired/curious of his abilities which definitely wont happen from the start. but yeah too me wolverine is not a threat to homelander.

These things supposedly don't effect homelander which should scale his durability pass base Hulk. Are theoretical Homelander already is scaling above base Hulk in terms of durability. we can't use Hulk as a stepping stone to determine whether wolverine can cut through him because Homelander is more durable then base Hulk, by how much? 🤷♂️ but wolverine would need more strength behind attacks to cut homelander. The guy in the video is half right about wolverine attack power but he misses key factors which is Wolverine need more strength but then again he is scaling homelander to the show which in that case Wolverine will solo the boys universe if we're scaling based of the grounded version of homelander that is shown for entertainment and drama. It's hard to scale characters when there forced to be grounded for budget or plot but at least the show has enough curticy to tell us how strong he's supposed to be.

How does everyone get this wrong?! Escape velocity is for an object where its deccelerating under earth's gravity and no further accelerating force is acting on it. For a body like homelander that can accelerate mid air at will as long as he is producing above "g" acceleration he can reach any height he wants, his speed is a non factor.

The amount of people here thinking that Wolverin could beat Homelander is preposterous. Homelander can resist nuclear blasts without his skin beeing even slighty excoriated. The fact that Wolvy has adamantium claws doen't mean he has the force necessary to pierce Homelander's skin (as does Mave). Also, Homelander can easily immobilise Wolvy, restrain him, fly him in the atmosfere and kick him out in space.

Just so everybody knows, at least in the comics. Wolverine tried to fight rune King Thor. Wolverine chopped off rune King Thor's arm. Rural King Thor then picked his arm back up. Then put it back on his body and melted Wolverine with an Odin Force plasma beam from his eyes putting Wolverine down and neutralizing him.
The problem is Wolverine faced Hulk and Juggernaut and lived to tell about it , Homelander gets ONE stab in the chest or head at one point and its over.

So, all he has to do to defeat the Wolverine is to go into space, fly towards the Wolwerine very quickly and throw a solid punch at him, as a result, the Wolwerine will probably be shattered to pieces. a single punch of Homelander has a force of 100 tons, so yes he can do this, then he throws him into space from the remaining parts to prevent him from healing again.
