For some reason people think Vought's claim that Homelander can't be harmed by any weapon known to mankind is sincere truth and not a propaganda. Because apparently, Vought never lies.
People tend to put more faith into that claim than others because if Vought had something to hurt Homelander, they wouldn't have put all their eggs into the psychological conditioning basket.

It even makes less sense when you think about it in the context of the show. We know for a fact that while vaught has a lot of power, they can't control the US government yet, and have been put in their place by the US multiple times, so there would be no way they could ever test a nuclear bomb without some kind of repercussion. And even if you want to say they could get approval to test a nuke, homelander wouldn be powerless, bc radiation is the weakness to supers and gets rids of their powers, this was stated by the showrunners, so it's canon, so there's no way homelander ever tanked a nuke, bc he wouldn't be homelander if he did.

Don’t forget that in Infinity War, Tony’s nanotech can “run out” if used too much or pushed to far offensively or defensively. He recognized and corrected this weakness and upgraded to a force-field shield in “Endgame”. So Tony’s actually slightly more powerful and his armor is slightly more advanced than what’s described here.

Yes yes. Except stones in MCU suck, and Thanos also sucks. Realistically a nuclear warhead would be enough to stop all of Thanos’s assault in the endgame. That is it. Comic book stones - one stone is enough to break the universe. Comic book Thanos - going into a black hole for a swim, and coming out with only scratches. But MCU Thanos is only slightly stronger than MCU Hulk, whereas MCU Hulk is just….. a joke power-wise. Also, do not downplay Queen Maeve. She can stop a full-speed armoured truck without flinching or losing hair. That already puts her along the level of Avengers 1 Thor and Hulk, if you do the math behind it. Her making Homelander ONLY bleed is a testament to how durable he is. People seem to be VERY bad at science or powerscaling here.

The entire scene on Titan just shows that Tony can fight people that are Thor and Hulk's level and not immediately getting killed which practically made him a God by The Boys standard. Homelander who runs away from Soldier Boy's big boom which only level building and can't lift an airplane because there's nothing to sit on isn't doing anything. And for anyone that says about his Laser or his strength, Tony took a brunt of the Power Stone for a about 5 seconds and only Thanos has shown to be strong enough to tear through the Armor, which the armor still repairs fast than he could land a killing blow on Tony's face. And of course throwing him to space ain't doing anything since Tony can just fly back to earth
The win goes to iron man. He has so many versatile and unique suits, powerful in their own right, and has taken it up with beings stronger than homelander, je has this hands down. Heck, he has the numbers on his side as well. He was able to control suits remotely and has drones. Homelander is by himself. The odds are so stacked against him, it's hilarious.

5:46 most Supes' outerskin is the tremendously durable part of their body. But Supes such as Soldier Boy have the durability level equally enhanced with skin and internal body parts. Killing Homelander with a weapon from inside would be a lot easier than trying to kill him with a nuke or anti-aircraft weaponary. Homelander's outer skin only has piercing resistance advantage mostly, when it comes to blunt force its more likely to look up to Soldier Boy since his whole body is equally durable at the level of Homelander's skin durability

Tony's extremis powers replaced his suit's old control system with his own brain. He controls the suit completely by direct thought and it shows with how much faster he is!
To me, the biggest difference is battle IQ and battle experience. Like everyone says, Homelander is a big fish in a small pond, almost never being pushed to his limits, or even being threatened really, while Tony has plenty of experience fighting on his back foot, as the underdog, and having to remain calm in a losing situation, and strategize a way to defeat a strong opponent, whereas Homelander hasn't ever really been pushed to the point of having to strategize, just "laser vision goes brrrrr." And I think that's what will make this a no diff for Tony. He'll quickly be able to strategize and formulate a plan to take care of Homelander, even if somehow Homelander was able to do some damage, whereas, once Tony starts beating on Homelander, he'll most likely panic and start being careless with his attacks, trying to out strength Tony.
Homelander is pretty nerfed down in your video, you're not accurately describing his powers here. The C4 example Homelanders speed is so quick that at point blank range he takes Billy butcher AND the baby to a safe distance possibly one at a time or both making him already near as fast as the quicksilver moments from x-men Homelander seems to easily catch up to modern airliners like when one was hijacked he was able to be there within minutes after finding out about it possibly having scouted for the exact location beforehand, this means he can fly a lot faster than ironman. Plus he also keeps up to A-train with not much trouble when A-train can reach speeds of mach 3. Homelander obviously can tank anything as shown in the show, the only thing that truly hurt him was a metal straw into his ear. Again its clearly explained in the show that supes like transluscent cannot survive things when its inside of their body, their skin is a tank not the insides of his body. Not to mention, it was a member of the freaking 7 who rammed that metal straw into his ear full force you would not be able to achieve that result from any other normal human. Another example of yours is him being held down by other supes Why does this nerf the idea of his strength? It was a 3 against 1 by people similar to his level this is the same idea of requiring several people to keep down thanos in infinity war. Thanos would decimate them 1 on 1 but they took several people with their upsides to keep him down. Why does no one mention Homelander's speed feats with entering and exiting Butcher's apartment without Butcher noticing? Butcher is sitting right across from him and he can't even notice Homelander leave. He does the same to Neumann, who is a supe. Clearly, his CR and non-flying speed are being massively downplayed if he can move so fast people can't even perceive he's there. Or even a rush of wind and etc. Furthermore, the space feat. He mentions it casually. It's not as if it took him all his effort to get to space, he just threw it out there offhand he likes going to space. So exit velocity is him *not* exerting effort. This in mind he is obviously as fast as low-tier speedsters like Quicksilver. Easily. This is low-balling Homelander. The "anti-feats" with Maeve and Soldier Boy prove nothing. Maybe they are just much more powerful than anyone lets on. Furthermore, the show is hampered by lack of CGI fight budget. Clearly Maeve can do more than dent a file cabinet when she splits apart moving automobiles like tissue paper. I grant the show suffers from a huge lack of consistency but people downplay Homelander's feats and straight up ignore half of them. Tony got outmaneuevered and blitzed by Bucky and Cap lol. True, wasn't the nano suit but it's far from clear the suit upgrades make him react faster.
The baby was full of V and was the one to save himself and Butcher, that baby is the child that appears in season 3 whi teleports near Hughie. A-train isn't mach 3, we see in season 1 that he needs drug enhancement to reach the speed of sound, and Homelander doesn't fight that fast anyway, we see that in the show. As shown in the show he was having a hard time against Butcher and Soldier individually, and both couldn't break through a concrete wall together in that same fight. And Tony know has the nanosuit, which he literally has on him at all times, if he finds Homelander at random he would still be able to use it and win.

In case you completely overlooked my comment and just started typing, homelander caught up with a business Jet pretty easily whilst also catching an airliner thats going full speed within minutes of knowing where it approximately is, this confirms that homelander goes several mach's with ease as it would take incredible speeds (that even tony can't achieve in his suit) to catch up that fast. Butcher and soldier boy (soldier boy being the dudes literal father) are both on v in that moment, what you completely fking ignore is that they're both supes with their full on abilities fighting off homelander, they got him pinned down yet did pretty much no damage. Homelander just flew away after that, you can very clearly see homelander isn't using full strength in that fight and is just fending off both butcher and soldier boy. Homelanders laser eyes also tend to melt right through tony's suit so unless tony has the reaction time of a god and is able to use his wakanda shield (if that even would work on his laser eyes) against it homelander could still very easily speed up to several machs in the fight just to obliterate him. You could see A-train running straight through someone and be unharmed yet A-train wouldn't beat homelander. Obviously homelander could go straight through tony even with his suit and if not it would break tony in several places taking on such a hit. I truly love marvel but I don't let my own feelings change the fact that homelander wins from ironman even with his nanotech suit

I don't know about Maeve being able to stab Homelander being a huge strike against him. As mentioned, it's a more sensitive part of the body. It's possible that she generated enough force to where the object she was using didn't matter that much. It's like the stories you hear about tornadoes throwing things with such force that instead of breaking, they get embedded in concrete or a telephone pole
A good example from this is from the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer where DP manages to pierce through the TVA soldiers armor with just tree branches due to his force able to penetrate them

When homelander is flying, he is obviously not going his top speed as he is surveying the area. Now Mach 2 while surveying is crazy. While his top speed is more near 25k mph due to him being able to fly away from a point blank c4
Maeve is one of the stronger supes and that is why she can make Homelander bleed, and about the cabinet, that was mainly for dramatic effect. She demonstrates other feats that show she is much stronger than that.
Also I do believe he isn’t giving the lasers enough credit for one he doesn’t know what soldier boy’s shield is made of, but Ryan who is weaker than Homelander can just obliterate Stormfront. While at the same time he can heat up milk with the same lasers. Can he destroy Iron Man’s armor with it? Maybe not quickly as he said but given Homelander’s other feats it’s a definite win for Homelander

The Russo brothers have stated in the commentary version of Infinity War that Thanos has infinite skin and obviously Toney made him bleed so take that as you will. Also in a tie in canon MARVEL Comic Toney's Nano Tech suit is able to react to light speeds and create protection for him in a test.
not to mention iron man is smarter. alot smarter. tactically, literally, every way shape and form. stamina wise, ironman could probably get hotdrops of different energy sources, fighting forever, he can also call forth more armour, and im assuming more nanotech for reinforcement not even considering drones. he could also probably come up with some kinda weakness on the fly, and pin him down easily

If iron man Can Make Thanos Bleed and stop a power stone beam then i am 100% sure that he can kill homelander... Also Iron Man's Lasers are As deadly as Homelander's... Remember He Blasted a Mutant extremist (they have Higher durability, strength and regeneration) then most supes in the boys... And iron man managed to one shot him with just one arc Reactor beam from an older suit. Now his MK85 has 6 Lasers...
Spider-Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain America, they wouldn't stand a chance against Homelander. But Marvels heavy hitter Supers would like, Hulk, Thor and Wolverine.

spiderman, captain america both severely outspeed homelander as they are both massively hypersonic+, both dodged supersonic gunshots with ease, spiderman kept up with cap who dodged lasers in age of ultron, then cap has mjolnir, even if you count that out, he threw hands with thanos and actually staggered him without mjolnir. now MCU spiderman is kinda weak as he does not have enough feats so he scales around building level, but with his tech and his much much much superior speed he would be able to get into you know, homelander's ear, eyes, other ways that connects with the inside. all this, MCU, i am not bringing in comics and games where spiderman fought the hulk pretty well, capable of stunning rhino with his punches who was able to tank a multi-city block level of attacks without much issue spiderman in one comic dogged the entire avengers and xmen squad solo, cap in one merged with pheonix force and became universal. wolverine in comics can regen from a cell, hulk... hes the hulk, and thor, they are the strongest for a reason. no homelander cant do anything unless its normal humans like hawkeye or black widow

The metal straw is a very misleading anti-feat as tubular shapes like that are very strong when compressed in their length. So it speaks less to Homelander's durability and more to Maeve's raw strength.
Side note: The reason Homelander bruised after fighting soldier boy, and got injured by queen maeve was because soldier boy’s radiation reduced some of his invulnerability. Also, his feats in the show are limited by the budget of the show

Iron Man got his ass handed to him by Captain America in 2016's Civil War. Granted, Cap did have some help from Bucky. But, Bucky spent most of that fight trying to get away. If Cap can beat Iron Man, then Homelander would own him.
Iron Man was holding his own and was even kicking Steve’s ass in that fight, he only lost because Bucky grabbed his leg which distracted him. If Bucky wasn’t there he would’ve won pretty easily.

Well it actually depends on what armor your having iron man on. If he's gonna be using the Mark 50 (Infinity War) Armor, he'd definitely break Homelander. Also, the Mark 85 (Endgame) Armor.
Anything above mark 45 can tank nuclear attacks + mark 45 was able to lift all of Sokovia while homelander can’t lift a plane + mark 50-85 can be scaled to multi-continental
Tony always loses solo fights, always. His win/loss rexord is atrocious. The only time he comes out on top is with an assist. The only "solo" fight he won was vs Hulk but even thats not technically all Tony because Bruce did help create the Veronica protocol. So judging by his win record, id say Tony loses, but it woukd be a good ffight for sure.
Also stood his own against Thanos and managed to make him bleed and Thanos is way more durable and powerful than Homie, Tony takes this, oh and let's not forget his fight against Thor, held his own there too, and again Thor is on another level compared to Homie.

A lot of people underestimate just how much Tony suit mark has come. It literally take multiple hits from continental beings, able to convert thunder from gods and channel infinite stone powers etc.
Iron Man is way faster than Homelander for sure. He has speed close to silver surfer who can move fast enough to go back in time. Homelander wouldn't be able to land a hit on Iron Man + Nanotech. Homelander got shanked in the ear so imagine what Iron Man would do to exploit that. Even Iron Man's reflexes would completely just counter most of what Homelander could possibly even do.

We know for a fact that while vaught has a lot of power, they can't control the US government yet, and have been put in their place by the US multiple times, so there would be no way they could ever test a nuclear bomb without some kind of repercussion. Don’t forget that in Infinity War, Tony’s nanotech can “run out” if used too much or pushed to far offensively or defensively. He recognized and corrected this weakness and upgraded to a force-field shield in “Endgame”. So Tony’s actually slightly more powerful and his armor is slightly more advanced than what’s described here.

The entire scene on Titan just shows that Tony can fight people that are Thor and Hulk's level and not immediately getting killed which practically made him a God by The Boys standard. Homelander who runs away from Soldier Boy's big boom which only level building and can't lift an airplane because there's nothing to sit on isn't doing anything. And for anyone that says about his Laser or his strength, Tony took a brunt of the Power Stone for a about 5 seconds and only Thanos has shown to be strong enough to tear through the Armor, which the armor still repairs fast than he could land a killing blow on Tony's face. And of course throwing him to space ain't doing anything since Tony can just fly back to earth

The win goes to iron man. He has so many versatile and unique suits, powerful in their own right, and has taken it up with beings stronger than homelander, je has this hands down. Heck, he has the numbers on his side as well. He was able to control suits remotely and has drones. Homelander is by himself. The odds are so stacked against him, it's hilarious.

Even then, speed means fuck all if your opponent can just tank all your hits. On a related note, I'd love to see Homelander try to beat extremis Iron Man. Tony's extremis powers replaced his suit's old control system with his own brain. He controls the suit completely by direct thought and it shows with how much faster he is!
To me, the biggest difference is battle IQ and battle experience. Like everyone says, Homelander is a big fish in a small pond, almost never being pushed to his limits, or even being threatened really, while Tony has plenty of experience fighting on his back foot, as the underdog, and having to remain calm in a losing situation, and strategize a way to defeat a strong opponent, whereas Homelander hasn't ever really been pushed to the point of having to strategize, just "laser vision goes brrrrr." And I think that's what will make this a no diff for Tony. He'll quickly be able to strategize and formulate a plan to take care of Homelander, even if somehow Homelander was able to do some damage, whereas, once Tony starts beating on Homelander, he'll most likely panic and start being careless with his attacks, trying to out strength Tony.
Homelander is pretty nerfed down in your video, you're not accurately describing his powers here.

Homelanders speed is so quick that at point blank range he takes Billy butcher AND the baby to a safe distance possibly one at a time or both making him already near as fast as the quicksilver moments from x-men
Homelander seems to easily catch up to modern airliners like when one was hijacked he was able to be there within minutes after finding out about it possibly having scouted for the exact location beforehand, this means he can fly a lot faster than ironman. Plus he also keeps up to A-train with not much trouble when A-train can reach speeds of mach 3.
Homelander obviously can tank anything as shown in the show, the only thing that truly hurt him was a metal straw into his ear. Again its clearly explained in the show that supes like transluscent cannot survive things when its inside of their body, their skin is a tank not the insides of his body. Not to mention, it was a member of the freaking 7 who rammed that metal straw into his ear full force you would not be able to achieve that result from any other normal human.

Why does this nerf the idea of his strength? It was a 3 against 1 by people similar to his level this is the same idea of requiring several people to keep down thanos in infinity war. Thanos would decimate them 1 on 1 but they took several people with their upsides to keep him down.

Why does no one mention Homelander's speed feats with entering and exiting Butcher's apartment without Butcher noticing? Butcher is sitting right across from him and he can't even notice Homelander leave. He does the same to Neumann, who is a supe. Clearly, his CR and non-flying speed are being massively downplayed if he can move so fast people can't even perceive he's there. Or even a rush of wind and etc.
Furthermore, the space feat. He mentions it casually. It's not as if it took him all his effort to get to space, he just threw it out there offhand he likes going to space. So exit velocity is him *not* exerting effort.
This in mind he is obviously as fast as low-tier speedsters like Quicksilver. Easily. This is low-balling Homelander.
The "anti-feats" with Maeve and Soldier Boy prove nothing. Maybe they are just much more powerful than anyone lets on. Furthermore, the show is hampered by lack of CGI fight budget. Clearly Maeve can do more than dent a file cabinet when she splits apart moving automobiles like tissue paper. I grant the show suffers from a huge lack of consistency but people downplay Homelander's feats and straight up ignore half of them. Tony got outmaneuevered and blitzed by Bucky and Cap lol. True, wasn't the nano suit but it's far from clear the suit upgrades make him react faster.

The baby was full of V and was the one to save himself and Butcher, that baby is the child that appears in season 3 whi teleports near Hughie.
A-train isn't mach 3, we see in season 1 that he needs drug enhancement to reach the speed of sound, and Homelander doesn't fight that fast anyway, we see that in the show.
As shown in the show he was having a hard time against Butcher and Soldier individually, and both couldn't break through a concrete wall together in that same fight.
And Tony know has the nanosuit, which he literally has on him at all times, if he finds Homelander at random he would still be able to use it and win.

You must not have watched the boys properly, homelander is shown saving butcher after which he put butcher at his wife's hidden home which he magically found.
In case you completely overlooked my comment and just started typing, homelander caught up with a business Jet pretty easily whilst also catching an airliner thats going full speed within minutes of knowing where it approximately is, this confirms that homelander goes several mach's with ease as it would take incredible speeds (that even tony can't achieve in his suit) to catch up that fast.
Butcher and soldier boy (soldier boy being the dudes literal father) are both on v in that moment, what you completely fking ignore is that they're both supes with their full on abilities fighting off homelander, they got him pinned down yet did pretty much no damage. Homelander just flew away after that, you can very clearly see homelander isn't using full strength in that fight and is just fending off both butcher and soldier boy.
Homelanders laser eyes also tend to melt right through tony's suit so unless tony has the reaction time of a god and is able to use his wakanda shield (if that even would work on his laser eyes) against it homelander could still very easily speed up to several machs in the fight just to obliterate him. You could see A-train running straight through someone and be unharmed yet A-train wouldn't beat homelander. Obviously homelander could go straight through tony even with his suit and if not it would break tony in several places taking on such a hit. I truly love marvel but I don't let my own feelings change the fact that homelander wins from ironman even with his nanotech suit
Beside that you forgot to mention that tony have tech that could just find a way to remove homelander's power.

I don't know about Maeve being able to stab Homelander being a huge strike against him. As mentioned, it's a more sensitive part of the body. It's possible that she generated enough force to where the object she was using didn't matter that much. It's like the stories you hear about tornadoes throwing things with such force that instead of breaking, they get embedded in concrete or a telephone pole

Maeve is one of the stronger supes and that is why she can make Homelander bleed, and about the cabinet, that was mainly for dramatic effect. She demonstrates other feats that show she is much stronger than that.
Also I do believe he isn’t giving the lasers enough credit for one he doesn’t know what soldier boy’s shield is made of, but Ryan who is weaker than Homelander can just obliterate Stormfront. While at the same time he can heat up milk with the same lasers. Can he destroy Iron Man’s armor with it? Maybe not quickly as he said but given Homelander’s other feats it’s a definite win for Homelander

The Russo brothers have stated in the commentary version of Infinity War that Thanos has infinite skin and obviously Toney made him bleed so take that as you will.
Also in a tie in canon MARVEL Comic Toney's Nano Tech suit is able to react to light speeds and create protection for him in a test.

spiderman, captain america both severely outspeed homelander as they are both massively hypersonic+, both dodged supersonic gunshots with ease, spiderman kept up with cap who dodged lasers in age of ultron, then cap has mjolnir, even if you count that out, he threw hands with thanos and actually staggered him without mjolnir. now MCU spiderman is kinda weak as he does not have enough feats so he scales around building level, but with his tech and his much much much superior speed he would be able to get into you know, homelander's ear, eyes, other ways that connects with the inside. all this, MCU, i am not bringing in comics and games where spiderman fought the hulk pretty well, capable of stunning rhino with his punches who was able to tank a multi-city block level of attacks without much issue spiderman in one comic dogged the entire avengers and xmen squad solo, cap in one merged with pheonix force and became universal. wolverine in comics can regen from a cell, hulk... hes the hulk, and thor, they are the strongest for a reason. no homelander cant do anything unless its normal humans like hawkeye or black widow

The metal straw is a very misleading anti-feat as tubular shapes like that are very strong when compressed in their length. So it speaks less to Homelander's durability and more to Maeve's raw strength.

Iron Man got his ass handed to him by Captain America in 2016's Civil War. Granted, Cap did have some help from Bucky. But, Bucky spent most of that fight trying to get away. If Cap can beat Iron Man, then Homelander would own him.
Iron Man was holding his own and was even kicking Steve’s ass in that fight, he only lost because Bucky grabbed his leg which distracted him. If Bucky wasn’t there he would’ve won pretty easily.

But, it took his most powerful attack to do it and Bucky still walked away, and while Tony may not have wanted to kill Steve, he absolutely wanted to kill Bucky and was willing to do whatever it took to neutralize Cap to achieve that goal. Well it actually depends on what armor your having iron man on. If he's gonna be using the Mark 50 (Infinity War) Armor, he'd definitely break Homelander. Also, the Mark 85 (Endgame) Armor.

Tony always loses solo fights, always. His win/loss rexord is atrocious. The only time he comes out on top is with an assist. The only "solo" fight he won was vs Hulk but even thats not technically all Tony because Bruce did help create the Veronica protocol. A lot of people underestimate just how much Tony suit mark has come. It literally take multiple hits from continental beings, able to convert thunder from gods and channel infinite stone powers etc.
