Hulk would make an utter joke out of anyone who tries to fight him. Hulk at his absolute weakest can do things like lift continental plates and shatter whole planets. He can also keep up with people like Thor, who is fast enough to time travel through pure speed. That's not even counting the astronomically massive power buffs he's gotten.
As much of a fanboy of Thor and Hulk I am, Thor isn't that fast. Instead, Thor is loaded with hax that nobody really realizes. Like being able to manipulate time and matter to a certain degree. Hulk is probably the most varied character in terms of strength and power, but at least he has a reason for it. But yeah, no one in the boys could ever even hurt Hulk, let alone keep him down. Homelander's lasers wouldn't even break his skin. Hell, Soldier Boy's explosion wouldn't really hurt him.
I don't even know if Homelander could beat even the og Hulk (that one is the weakest TO MY KNOWLEDGE) and isn't capable of anything even remotely like that.
The most frightening possibility is also a pretty likely one: Banner and Hulk are in agreement with each other that there's a LOT of stuff on this world that needs "Smashed" and a lot of Science that Banner needs to undo. It would be as close to Professor Hulk as you can get, while still having both being separate entities.

I've always wondered if they put a character like Hulk or Doomsday in the boys. Imagine what they did to Bizzoro in the Superman and alous show where, like Butcher finds a guy who gets stronger by every injury he gets, he could make a Doomsday for Homelander. Someone who could destroy Homelander.
Bruce Banner would be the major factor in this scenario. As he can sometimes focus the Hulk’s rage on a certain target. So he sees Homelander hurting innocent people, I can see Bruce Banner’s rage focusing the Hulk’s anger towards Homelander and other Supes.
Hulk is my favorite character and his weakness is the greatest because hs weakness is literally "He has to calm down eventually. Hulk is unbeatable and basically immortal, Banner is mortal. The only catch is it better be a One Tap because if he isn't immediately taken out the Hulk comes out to play. Don't even give him a second to be upset

In fact, Spiderman also shares a resemblance with the immortal Hulk, both are impossible experiments that were possible thanks to divine forces. They are still mainly genetically modified beings, but divine interventions were what made them possible.
Although I think that's more for Spiderman. Hulk is simply a biological being created from an energy that apparently pleases the antithesis of Marvel's absolute god. His immortality remains his own power and not granted by the green hell.
There would be one Hulk version that would come in an basically take over. This was interesting. this gives me 2 ideas. 1) they do what you said with a shock collar on Bruce, but they put his lab under a school or orphanage, or something. it would be why Bruce wouldn't want to turn. 2) He could be in the universe, as a character like them. He would use it to exploit people. in a long line at the coffee shop? just let everyone know who you are. "Don't make me angry. you won't like me when I'm angry." Don't want to pay at a restaurant? "Don't make me angry, you won't like it when I'm angry." He would almost never turn into the hulk, but he could be as corrupt and perverted as they are.

Taking characters exactly as is and throwing them into settings with completely different power-levels, is by far the most dull and boring way of approaching these sorts of hypotheticals. It’d be far more interesting to adapt characters into their new setting. Speculate on what origin they would have, what sort of power level they’d have, where they’d be in the pecking order, whilst retaining as much of the “essence” of the character as possible. Comic characters like Hulk don’t have static/fixed power levels. They get adapted to the settings they are written into all the time. That’s why we have movie universes, cartoon universes, and comic universes in which Hulk’s power levels are portrayed entirely differently, whilst his position within the universe and power relative to those around him typically stays the same. And it’s not even just alternate universes either. Even different comic runs within the 616 will have completely different power levels, with high tiers being building level in some, or planet shaking in another. As for Hulk existing within The Boys universe. I think he’d be significantly stronger than Homelander, but would likely lack speed and not be entirely invulnerable to Homelander’s strikes. A Hulk style character would be the perfect “Good Guy Doomsday” to Homelander’s “Bad Guy Superman”.
What's funny is that most original Avengers would get wrecked by Homelander or other powerful supes, but Hulk and Thor would dominate. The nano suit version of Iron Man would be an even match gor Homelander IMO. Spidey would also be an even match with his nano suit for durability.
We actually know roughly how strong Homelander is. In one of the final issues, it's said that Black Noir(who is his more powerful clone in the comics) can lift a dozen mach trucks. That's 180 tons if the trucks are empty and 540 tons full. So Homelander should also be around as strong, if not slightly weaker. Hulk has lifted a mountain range that was 100s of billions of tons. He's held continental plates together. That's trillions, if not quadrillion of tons. Also, I don't think Bruce would want to cure compound V. There would be no one left in the world to keep him in check. And honestly, the things he'd learn about the supes would make him mad enough to Hulk out on the spot, I think.
I didnt see how the the hulk would work either,but i love your ideas. Some of my own would be. 1. Definitely have more butcher involved,like if we going the bruce/hulk route. Maybe after he literally crash lands into the world. Old billy has some of the boys track him down. Witness him revert back to banner. Than either go your idea instead of vought. It's lady that calls the shots on butcher team and govt. Either threatening him or pretending to be a ally,while butcher waits in the wings to try to kill Bruce. Or 2. Lean into the grittiness of the world and have it be Mr fixit version of Bruce,and him basically building a criminal empire lol. 3. Or to go in more no hope for that universe it's the Mastero coming and dominating. Except with both 2 and 3 would intersect. That they try to make abomination V with either being butch or homelander. Which causes even more chaos. They would be evenly match with fixit. But the mastero destroys abomination V.
Hulk has met three gods and smashed all three in the face. Yeah no. Just don't bother telling me Homelander can survive an attack that Thor got knocked off by.
They'd build up to him hulking out for an entire season then butcher would say "Oi gov, I got a jpeg of you flashing ye jolly green giant at a Christmas party on me blackberry ya cheeky bugger" and then hulk would just walk away. But there'd be a scene of hulk about to really hulk out next season for real this time! Rinse, repeat until season 15.
Whats more dangerous than professor Hulk, is Dr. Hulk, basically hulk with bruce's genius intelligence, but dosent lead dow the Mistro path, he got his ass handed to him by red hulk. I would approach this by writing a Bruce variant that lives in The Boys universe. A bioscientist who works for Vought, perhaps secretly infected by a scrapped project from the past. Super strong with anger issues stemming from the "incident", a little more vulnerable than the MCU's Hulk physically speaking and hiding his identity should be of the utmost importance.
Remember when Banner said he put a bullet in his head and the other guy spit it out meaning the hulk... Homelander couldn't kill Banner if he wanted to because the Hulk wouldn't allow it
The problem i see with the idea of banner being a prisoner in the boys world is that it would be a ticking time bomb hulk would eventually come out and would not be contained because the boys universe struggles with homelander who us much weaker. The more interesting idea is how does the hul affects the boys' world culturally, would the public become too scared of meta humans, would they double down on sketchy organizations or would the hulk have enough intelligence to both eliminate the heros and expose them
They do have a Hulk supe in the boys. he was mentioned Once by Mallory when she was trying to recruit Frenchie. He was a Supe that got stronger the angrier he was. I believe he was called Rampage.

What if Shadow The Hedgehog was in the boys universe, maybe have Soldier Boy be the one who shot Maria on the Ark since he was sort of doing missions for the government at the time.

If this was MCU Hulk before Endgame against Amazon Prime's Homelander, then it wpuld be a nice fight. But Hulk would still win.

What if the SCP Foundation was in the Boys and they tried exposing Vought so they can contain or neutralize supes?
There wouldn’t be a Vought in a universe already with SCP foundation, they have spies everywhere when compound V was discovered everyone would end up in an SCP lab as soon as someone from a government heard about it.
SCP from another dimension may just give homelander a certain photo and let a cranky reptile loose in Vought headquarters.

With the amount of dangerous scp's I think one scp is all that is needed to defeat the boys universe and it is the unkillable reptile. (I don't know it's numbers.)

I've always wondered if they put a character like Hulk or Doomsday in the boys. Imagine what they did to Bizzoro in the Superman and alous show where, like Butcher finds a guy who gets stronger by every injury he gets, he could make a Doomsday for Homelander. Someone who could destroy Homelander.
Um...any iteration of Bruce Banner/Hulk would obliterate The Boys universe. Even the grey Hulk would dominate. Not even close.

Bruce Banner would be the major factor in this scenario. As he can sometimes focus the Hulk’s rage on a certain target.
So he sees Homelander hurting innocent people, I can see Bruce Banner’s rage focusing the Hulk’s anger towards Homelander and other Supes.

Hulk is my favorite character and his weakness is the greatest because hs weakness is literally "He has to calm down eventually. Hulk is unbeatable and basically immortal, Banner is mortal. The only catch is it better be a One Tap because if he isn't immediately taken out the Hulk comes out to play. Don't even give him a second to be upset
Banner can die but he won’t stay dead at least according to immortal hulk. That version of the hulk is terrifying and seems to enjoy hurting the people who hurt banner.

@Broomer52 That's the explanation they give for an impossible experiment working. In fact, Spiderman also shares a resemblance with the immortal Hulk, both are impossible experiments that were possible thanks to divine forces.
They are still mainly genetically modified beings, but divine interventions were what made them possible.
Although I think that's more for Spiderman. Hulk is simply a biological being created from an energy that apparently pleases the antithesis of Marvel's absolute god. His immortality remains his own power and not granted by the green hell.

There would be one Hulk version that would come in an basically take over. The Maestro, which is one of the Hulk versions that wiped out the Avengers, wiped out Banner inside of himself, and just rules with 'Might is Right' mentality..the Strongest rules..and no one is stronger than Hulk..or in this case, Maestro.

Orrr Imagine Bruce became the Hulk through working for vought experimenting on compound v with gamma radiation, the story could involve Bruce seeking redemption for helping to develop compound v n he seeks to develop a cure to strip all supes of there powers, whether they die from it or not is up in the air bcz comic Bruce can get a little unhinged n crazy sometimes
The only problem with keeping the Hulk out for extended periods is he becomes capable of forming plans after a bit.

This was interesting. this gives me 2 ideas. 1) they do what you said with a shock collar on Bruce, but they put his lab under a school or orphanage, or something. it would be why Bruce wouldn't want to turn. 2) He could be in the universe, as a character like them. He would use it to exploit people. in a long line at the coffee shop? just let everyone know who you are. "Don't make me angry. you won't like me when I'm angry." Don't want to pay at a restaurant? "Don't make me angry, you won't like it when I'm angry." He would almost never turn into the hulk, but he could be as corrupt and perverted as they are.
well even if they catch Bruce when hes vulnerable. It has been shown that as soon as Banner dies, the hulk immediately tags in and essentially saves Banner. After that everyones pretty much mince meat.
Hulk would tag Bob (Sentry) in an IG livestream, of him dogging homelander, then say something like, "You bet Hulk that cape man last 30 second fighting hulk, cape man last 20. You owe Hulk now, lol!"
Honestly, at this point, it's harder to find someone who wouldn't beat the Boys universe.
Taking characters exactly as is and throwing them into settings with completely different power-levels, is by far the most dull and boring way of approaching these sorts of hypotheticals.
It’d be far more interesting to adapt characters into their new setting. Speculate on what origin they would have, what sort of power level they’d have, where they’d be in the pecking order, whilst retaining as much of the “essence” of the character as possible.
Comic characters like Hulk don’t have static/fixed power levels. They get adapted to the settings they are written into all the time. That’s why we have movie universes, cartoon universes, and comic universes in which Hulk’s power levels are portrayed entirely differently, whilst his position within the universe and power relative to those around him typically stays the same.
And it’s not even just alternate universes either. Even different comic runs within the 616 will have completely different power levels, with high tiers being building level in some, or planet shaking in another.
As for Hulk existing within The Boys universe. I think he’d be significantly stronger than Homelander, but would likely lack speed and not be entirely invulnerable to Homelander’s strikes. A Hulk style character would be the perfect “Good Guy Doomsday” to Homelander’s “Bad Guy Superman”.

What's funny is that most original Avengers would get wrecked by Homelander or other powerful supes, but Hulk and Thor would dominate. The nano suit version of Iron Man would be an even match gor Homelander IMO. Spidey would also be an even match with his nano suit for durability.
Vought would definitely try to pay Bruce to have the Hulk rage in certain places so that Homelander could save people.

We actually know roughly how strong Homelander is. In one of the final issues, it's said that Black Noir(who is his more powerful clone in the comics) can lift a dozen mach trucks. That's 180 tons if the trucks are empty and 540 tons full. So Homelander should also be around as strong, if not slightly weaker. Hulk has lifted a mountain range that was 100s of billions of tons. He's held continental plates together. That's trillions, if not quadrillion of tons. Also, I don't think Bruce would want to cure compound V. There would be no one left in the world to keep him in check. And honestly, the things he'd learn about the supes would make him mad enough to Hulk out on the spot, I think.
The creator said Homelander can lift 480 tons max. A fart from Hulk would destroy Homelander.

I didnt see how the the hulk would work either,but i love your ideas. Some of my own would be. 1. Definitely have more butcher involved,like if we going the bruce/hulk route. Maybe after he literally crash lands into the world. Old billy has some of the boys track him down. Witness him revert back to banner. Than either go your idea instead of vought. It's lady that calls the shots on butcher team and govt. Either threatening him or pretending to be a ally,while butcher waits in the wings to try to kill Bruce. Or 2. Lean into the grittiness of the world and have it be Mr fixit version of Bruce,and him basically building a criminal empire lol. 3. Or to go in more no hope for that universe it's the Mastero coming and dominating. Except with both 2 and 3 would intersect. That they try to make abomination V with either being butch or homelander. Which causes even more chaos. They would be evenly match with fixit. But the mastero destroys abomination V.

Marvel movies did Hulk dirty by not giving him a renatch with Thanos. World War Hulk would wreck that purple gauntlet enthusiast.
They'd build up to him hulking out for an entire season then butcher would say "Oi gov, I got a jpeg of you flashing ye jolly green giant at a Christmas party on me blackberry ya cheeky bugger" and then hulk would just walk away. But there'd be a scene of hulk about to really hulk out next season for real this time! Rinse, repeat until season 15.

I would approach this by writing a Bruce variant that lives in The Boys universe.
A bioscientist who works for Vought, perhaps secretly infected by a scrapped project from the past. Super strong with anger issues stemming from the "incident", a little more vulnerable than the MCU's Hulk physically speaking and hiding his identity should be of the utmost importance.

The problem i see with the idea of banner being a prisoner in the boys world is that it would be a ticking time bomb hulk would eventually come out and would not be contained because the boys universe struggles with homelander who us much weaker. The more interesting idea is how does the hul affects the boys' world culturally, would the public become too scared of meta humans, would they double down on sketchy organizations or would the hulk have enough intelligence to both eliminate the heros and expose them
They do have a Hulk supe in the boys. he was mentioned Once by Mallory when she was trying to recruit Frenchie. He was a Supe that got stronger the angrier he was. I believe he was called Rampage.
