Being a Psylocke main in Rivals is like being a Pokemon fan and saying your favourite Pokemon is either Vaporeon, Gardevoir or Lopunny. Doesn't matter how much you genuinely enjoy the character, EVERYONE is going to give you the meanest side-eye. Side note, as an Adam Warlock main, playing Adam feels more like that montage in Shazam where Billy is zapping people's phones to charge them.

Unrelated but I was playing as jeff and a venom on the enemy team was chasing me down relentlessly on the yggddrasil convergence gamemode. He hunted me so far away from the objective that I ended up stopping, I didnt attack, gave the sideways shuffle-shuffle. He stopped, he didn't attack. We just stared at eachother for a good few seconds... Then slowly just went back to the objective in unison like two besties, or the classic big guy little guy dynamic 😂 then we went back to brawling. Most wholesome moment I ever had. I wish I knew who that dude was.
Its these moments in PUGs and randoms that I always say they're not as bad as some people say. So many good and ridiculous moments to have. Nice thanks for sharing lol
As a Magneto main, I think we usually run in with no plan because we’re supposed to be front line and whatever the teams doing behind us better work out somehow 🤣 That and we play magneto in marvel vs capcom 3 and are going insane because of the huge lack of air mobility 😢
Fr Loki do be like that, his skillset is essentially a combination of TF2 Spy, TF2 Engineer and an ability to heal sprinkled on top. Hes such a hybrid its hard to classify him to a specific hero type

Destruction is a conduit for my being, I must indulge in the blood that spills from those I eradicate, 26-2-13 KDA, 11k healing, 19k damage, I need more, Jeff is who I will main. (I must also remember to always beg someone to play Luna Snow so I can get the hilariously large M2 aoe..)
Yes, join the shark side. Be adorable, get the best conversations between heroes, and inflict PTSD upon the enemy. If the other side is targetting you, USE IT. Lead them away. They will follow you anywhere. Go up walls, around corners, lead them on a merry chase while your team demolishes those who didn't follow you. You will always get at least 2 following you for way too long.
As a magik main, I can say that description is one of two things we are, the other is people who know exactly what she does and like pressing multiple buttons in quick succession
I consider myself a Venom main. You are 100% correct about how we play him. He gets even more rediculous if you have a good healer on your team. The only thing I do differently is that when I dive I yell "Imma plant me a dumbass tree!" Which is either my target or myself. It depends on if I hit them. XD
As a psylocke main i only have two things to add. 1. You thought being invisible would be way more useful then it actually is and you would seed the terror in every lobby. 2. You spent money in her alt costume because you couldn't wait to see her cheeks Even before getting good at her. And for some reason, you got better at her with said skin lmao
Seriously. She's probably my favorite character in all of fiction. Fell in love with her immediately when I read her backstory. The manipulation she had to go through as a child hit me way too close to home, and it's frightening how accurately they depicted the sort of thing I had to go through growing up. Whenever I hear anyone slander that character it ticks me off, but I'm glad she's appearing in more stuff now. New Mutants movie really frustrated me with their depiction, and I'm glad that the depiction didn't ruin the character's reputation.
As a Loki main, I agree but also I've gotten Lord on Loki and am a lot more comfortable with his kit, and all I can say is if more people knew how to play his kit properly, more people would be playing him he is absolutely insane. He's an MVP farm, while being able to put up the same or more heals as meta supports. If you have some tanks who trust you enough, matches are basically unlosable with a good Loki.
Correction: That psylocke analysis is correct half the time, the other half use the default skin and will kill the entire enemy team one by one until no one realizes they've taken point. This is all from me observing them. I am a proud Magneto / WS main

Yup, this exactly. Psylocke's shotgun basic attack is amazing on flyers too. Just get them in the circle and one of the 3 attacks that go out will ALWAYS hit their head.

As a Moon Knight main, I can confirm all I do is spam random bullshit with great effectiveness, we also tend to get on the most absurd place of the map you could think of to do it though
As a cloak & Dagger main you got them all wrong. We mostly struggle with the fact that we know what our abilities do but our incompetent teammates don’t. Even with voice chat on they still won’t listen to the fact that my cloak ability can save them from different ults.
Namor section is true up until the ult part. See, what we really do is pull the same strat we use with our octosquids. We let out team do 99% of the work in a team fight, then sweep in with the ult for a 3k. Works every time!

He is actually the closest match to a literal "Strategist" in the game, you need to be smart about how you place your doppelgangers, making sure they can serve as escape tools by swapping with them AND be able to provide volley fire like it's goddamn Waterloo, i may not be the best at him yet, but damn is he fun as hell.

Best support if u're pro with him. In the best scenario and with another support (Not totally necessary but defo good for the team ofc) he is unkillable.
Loki is incredible, does a bunch of damage and healing, is pretty hard to die as if you know what you're doing and copying the right people with his ult can change the whole direction of the match

Just because I main Squirrel Girl doesn't make me down bad...I just find that a girl with power to command squirrels has bodied Punisher, Deadpool, Wolverine, Venom, Thanos, Doom, MODOK, THE ONE BELLOW ALL, and many others to be really funny. Plus she's easy to play and the only fun grenadier in Hero Shooters.
As a Mantis main, yes I do indeed have to take up the mantle of Duelist myself sometimes whilst healing my entire team singlehandedly once I notice that my DPS/dive teammates aren’t good enough at their jobs. And once I do find myself on a coordinated team that knows how to work strategically with their team and has great synergy with everyone, we are truly UNDEFEATABLE!
As a punisher main, I picked him up because he reminded me of Doomguy. And then I ended up sniping better than Hawkeye mains sometimes seriously why is his aim so good
Luna's icicles do more damage than her primary though, unless you're talking about a hypothetical scenario where you only hit headshots per click but yeah, as a Mantis main I think your description is accurate, I genuinely love this character both because of GotG movies and how great her gameplay feels in this game

5:33 Black Panther’s ult places vibranium marks on anyone it hits. It basically serves as a massive AOE version of his spear. @@baconsir1159 A genuinely good Iron Fist is a menace, his Dragon Defense skill can parry just about anything so you can shrug off a lot of powerful bursts with is, and no other hero has the potential to chase a swinging Spiderman across the map and keep pace other than, well, another Spiderman. Bad Iron Fist players just get mileage out of crutch hero design that other bad players don't know how to shut down. Some heroes don't really have the tools unless your aim is godly, but if you're a hero without the tools you should have an ally in the backline with you that does and they should be helping you. The amount of games where I've watched a Mantis not save their Adam with a sedate on the Iron Fist is crazy.
Pop down the squids, hit the trident, pop the bubble. Wait for the squid to do all the work. Spider/Panther/Fist/Wolverine are dead by the time the bubble ends.

I also find it funny that my two other mains (peni and Jeff) are called some of the most try hard mains out there. Lil tip for peni, the net heals and has a large radius so on a defense hide it behind a wall and lay mines in the one path to the pay load and watch and laugh as the enemy tank ults, only to walk into 10 mines and die immediately
Loki main is here, idk really why but i started to play him immediately(without any Punishers) if you have mindset of actual Loki you can be unkillable, low on health? Shift or swap with long distance clone and vanish, someone ulting at you? Pffff, press F, enemy has good characters? Copy them and destroy😊. Also some facts about him for fellow Lokis, his vanish ability is healing you, while invisible you still can place clone without revealing yourself, using ult while transformed reset timer so you can stay said character longer and finally dont aim straight to body cause you can miss easily, aim at their feet Loki has aoe attack

I'm a strategist main but Squirrel Girl is my dps pick because she's Junkrat but better. And because NOTHING is more satisfying than plinking Iron Man out of the sky with acorns. It brings me incredible amounts of joy.
As a wolverine main, I only have one complaint: he does need a EVER so slight healing factor (just to be more character accurate, so make it to where if you get out of danger you start healing slowly or something like that) and give him a slight speed boost. Let me explain the speed boost: he needs to be able to close in on enemies instead of constantly running at them while they run backwards at the same speed as you and just kill you effortlessly. I get his dash ability, but you can’t control how far you go with it which makes it pretty useless in most situations
APPARENTLY the healing factor has its 90 second cooldown reduced by 10 seconds per elimination, but the problem is he's a melee duelist that can get gunned down fast even with it, so it's either wasted immediately or never gets used. If they traded that out with a reduction of 1 second per max-rage hit, he'd probably feel like he's regenerating way faster and reward aggressive playstyles. That and, y'know, fixing his feral leap to make it more reliable. Maybe an increased cooldown on his Rampage and add a second charge to get those enemies that just leave or get placed on weird geometry.

Our ults either get fucked because as soon as you trigger it a teammate kills the person you were gunning for, or you teamwipe. There is no inbetween

If the other side is targetting you, USE IT. Lead them away. They will follow you anywhere. Go up walls, around corners, lead them on a merry chase while your team demolishes those who didn't follow you. You will always get at least 2 following you for way too long.
As a magik main, I can say that description is one of two things we are, the other is people who know exactly what she does and like pressing multiple buttons in quick succession

Seriously. She's probably my favorite character in all of fiction. Fell in love with her immediately when I read her backstory. The manipulation she had to go through as a child hit me way too close to home, and it's frightening how accurately they depicted the sort of thing I had to go through growing up. Whenever I hear anyone slander that character it ticks me off, but I'm glad she's appearing in more stuff now. New Mutants movie really frustrated me with their depiction, and I'm glad that the depiction didn't ruin the character's reputation.

As a Loki main, I agree but also I've gotten Lord on Loki and am a lot more comfortable with his kit, and all I can say is if more people knew how to play his kit properly, more people would be playing him he is absolutely insane. He's an MVP farm, while being able to put up the same or more heals as meta supports. If you have some tanks who trust you enough, matches are basically unlosable with a good Loki.
Correction: That psylocke analysis is correct half the time, the other half use the default skin and will kill the entire enemy team one by one until no one realizes they've taken point. This is all from me observing them. I am a proud Magneto / WS main
Half of them are down bad, the other half are Genji refugees. There is also a smaller subsection of Psylocke players that are just both horny and genji players.
Yup, this exactly. Psylocke's shotgun basic attack is amazing on flyers too. Just get them in the circle and one of the 3 attacks that go out will ALWAYS hit their head.

@@adorableright If I am being dived as a Jeff, i will use that against the other team and take them for a very long walk away from the objective using the walls and such. It works so very often as typically one or two dpsers AND a healer is chasing me while I am just laughing and vibing to music and enjoying the game. Just hilarious to me. Jeff players be vibing and unconcerned about most things, there to have fun.

Namor section is true up until the ult part. See, what we really do is pull the same strat we use with our octosquids. We let out team do 99% of the work in a team fight, then sweep in with the ult for a 3k. Works every time!

Loki really is a slept on Healer
He is actually the closest match to a literal "Strategist" in the game, you need to be smart about how you place your doppelgangers, making sure they can serve as escape tools by swapping with them AND be able to provide volley fire like it's goddamn Waterloo, i may not be the best at him yet, but damn is he fun as hell.

Everyone manages to suck as him but if yk how to play him u can solo wipe a team or solo support ur own team with ease. there's a reason for the 4/5 difficulty rating but it's so worth knowing how to be a good Loki. Best support if u're pro with him. In the best scenario and with another support (Not totally necessary but defo good for the team ofc) he is unkillable.
Loki is incredible, does a bunch of damage and healing, is pretty hard to die as if you know what you're doing and copying the right people with his ult can change the whole direction of the match

As a Mantis main, yes I do indeed have to take up the mantle of Duelist myself sometimes whilst healing my entire team singlehandedly once I notice that my DPS/dive teammates aren’t good enough at their jobs.
And once I do find myself on a coordinated team that knows how to work strategically with their team and has great synergy with everyone, we are truly UNDEFEATABLE!
Mantis is fun when you have 4 duelists in your team that do damage, just damage boost them! Don't need healing if the enemy is dead!

5:33 Black Panther’s ult places vibranium marks on anyone it hits. It basically serves as a massive AOE version of his spear.
It’s best used as a setup for a massive barrage of dashes so rapid that it would give Genji from Overwatch whiplash.

@@baconsir1159 A genuinely good Iron Fist is a menace, his Dragon Defense skill can parry just about anything so you can shrug off a lot of powerful bursts with is, and no other hero has the potential to chase a swinging Spiderman across the map and keep pace other than, well, another Spiderman. Bad Iron Fist players just get mileage out of crutch hero design that other bad players don't know how to shut down. Some heroes don't really have the tools unless your aim is godly, but if you're a hero without the tools you should have an ally in the backline with you that does and they should be helping you. The amount of games where I've watched a Mantis not save their Adam with a sedate on the Iron Fist is crazy.

It seems to you that it’s random bullshit, but the voices all call a vote on our moves, it all happens very fast. I also find it funny that my two other mains (peni and Jeff) are called some of the most try hard mains out there. Lil tip for peni, the net heals and has a large radius so on a defense hide it behind a wall and lay mines in the one path to the pay load and watch and laugh as the enemy tank ults, only to walk into 10 mines and die immediately

Loki main is here, idk really why but i started to play him immediately(without any Punishers) if you have mindset of actual Loki you can be unkillable, low on health? Shift or swap with long distance clone and vanish, someone ulting at you? Pffff, press F, enemy has good characters? Copy them and destroy😊. Also some facts about him for fellow Lokis, his vanish ability is healing you, while invisible you still can place clone without revealing yourself, using ult while transformed reset timer so you can stay said character longer and finally dont aim straight to body cause you can miss easily, aim at their feet Loki has aoe attack

As a wolverine main, I only have one complaint: he does need a EVER so slight healing factor (just to be more character accurate, so make it to where if you get out of danger you start healing slowly or something like that) and give him a slight speed boost. Let me explain the speed boost: he needs to be able to close in on enemies instead of constantly running at them while they run backwards at the same speed as you and just kill you effortlessly. I get his dash ability, but you can’t control how far you go with it which makes it pretty useless in most situations
APPARENTLY the healing factor has its 90 second cooldown reduced by 10 seconds per elimination, but the problem is he's a melee duelist that can get gunned down fast even with it, so it's either wasted immediately or never gets used. If they traded that out with a reduction of 1 second per max-rage hit, he'd probably feel like he's regenerating way faster and reward aggressive playstyles.
That and, y'know, fixing his feral leap to make it more reliable. Maybe an increased cooldown on his Rampage and add a second charge to get those enemies that just leave or get placed on weird geometry.
