@@jemaselite8076 yeah... no, i have a full main party (Vaan as Shi-bushi, Basch as Knight-bushi, Ashe WHM-knight) that could dish out around 9k - 20k, and even WHM could hit harder than Balthier. As for the 2nd party, (Penelo as WHM-Uhlan, Fran as Red-archer, Balthier as Knight-Monk) they could dish out the same damage, Balthier however only deals 8k - 14k dmg, ironically Fran is the DPS in here despite of her ranged weapon All of my party members are at lvl 99 btw.
He became a "GOD" of damage if you get all the element shots, he's in level 45 and with oil in a lvl50 enemy (Lhusu Mines) with fire weakness and deals like 11k

This was in the original too. It just sounds a little fancier. He was not easy to fight when I fought him. ; ; FF12's gil was my first encounter with him and his theme. :D
I'm currently on my first and blind playthrough of this game, having a good time... I just met Reddas. Went Esper hunting and doing some marks, you know, sidequesting... And I stumble upon this guy. Quite the character and a pretty good fight. And then he runs off, deeper into the Mines. I'm about level 40/41 on my party across the board. I went into the deeper part like 30 mins ago, so I knew I could handle the monsters with some effort, and obtaining Scathe and the Masamune helped a ton, for sure. So I go into the last room for the obvious round 2, and not really expecting to win because everything is like level 60, so a boss? Surely that'd be too much... And lemme tell ya, with how the fight started and ended, it sure looked like I wasn't gonna make it, but I somehow barely made it through. Couldn't get the gloves stolen from him, that I happened to read about, but I did get the Armour! Bubble, Haste, Protect, the moment this fell away in the last phase, all hell broke loose, as I messed up my first Mist combo, too... Party wipe, doing everything I can to hold out with party B and get my A-team for the fight back up, where I had my last Mist charged. And that barely clutched it out. I didn't keep track of the time, but... I think the fight lasted almost an hour. I'm not writing this to brag (maybe a little), but this was definitely an experience that'll stay with me when after I'm done with this game, I can tell you that! *Wew!*
I was facing the hell wyrm when most my party was that level. You can do quite a lot with an underleveled party if you know what you are doing. Gear spells class ect are far more important. A permanently berserked hasted bravery Balthier can do mad damage with a ninja sword even when heavily underleveled. And someone with decoy and reverse on themselves can tank even at level 1 while butt naked.
Damn, I thought this game was incredibly tedious and dull with a couple good ideas and moments sprinkled here and there. Beat it a couple of weeks ago and it was easily my least fav FF that I've bothered to finish. Played VI immediately afterwards and it was a much better experience in almost every way (even though its still not my fav). I didn't hate XII but I didn't really like it either.

When he pulls out brotherhood I nearly crapped myself it's weird how gilga wasn't in 10 so that means after the events of x or x-2 gilga traveled to spira 😳

@@antonironstag5085 yes you fight him on the bridge and in the cave. I was playing on the Zodiac edition and was playing on 4x speed. I also had 3 black mages and 2 Kumbas. I finished the second fight in less than 2 minutes.
@@aeroga2383 not really the fight would have been over pretty quickly regardless. Gilgamesh isn't that hard of a fight. That same party got to level 100 trial mode.

Late comment but yes, this was in the original. HOWEVER! There is a bit more emphasis on some of the instruments that used to be moreso in the background. the 'dundundahdun' at the 0:11 mark in particular was barely above the background music in the og 12 release for example, and similarly I don't recall as many major beats during the buildup of 0:29, this version makes it a far closer emulation of the FFV backbeats (particularly with the strings in that part, which I don't think were in the original release) while keeping 12's more laid-back instrument style of trumpets as the main instruments. TL;DR they deepened it up a bit with some added tweaks but it's mostly the same banger.
That's mostly because the original was all synthesized sound whereas the zodiac age ost is live orchestra. The quality difference is especially noticeable on this song i find.

The original FF12 probably had my favorite version of this song just for how bombastic it was, and this has now replaced it by somehow being even more bombastic. Haha
@@TheUndyingCrystal No quite. Even though Stop and Slow aren't buffs the two of them are affected by dispel. Thus having a character slow or stop an enemy then dispel them is a waste of MP. There are similar Dispel interactions in other FF games, normally with Slow and Stop as well.
Guns have piercing and ignore most stats and styff. However, some enemies just don't really get affected by bullets. Guns are really good you just have to use them against the correct enemies
@@tjc3644 it's rather and better be used as a no-mp Debuffer. As for attacking, even it can be replaced by Staff, rod, or pole for aerial enemies. It's better to use Bow for long range attacker, or at least that's in my case (Fran deals more damage in the secondary party which contains Balthier & penelo too)

Why would you be bugged? Dispel doesn't remove status debuffs, only buffs.
