This dlc is difficult, i suck at blocking with gladiolus vs parrying with noctis, which is much easier. I keep dying at enkidu. Any suggestions?
I'll never forget when this was used for Garou vs Orochi
Dark souls 4 doesn’t look bad at all!
I suppose when you've lived for thousands of years with no way to get back home and lost 5 of your 6 arms, that achieves enough of a depressing dark souls backstory to get this sort of track.
This is now Gladio's BT theme
🆒
this song has a power it self, this is mad xd
So that's the Gilgamesh of Episode Ardyn
yes gilgamesh is the shield of somnus
@@playaz7777 then why didn’t he help him in episode ardyn, or be a boss itself, or be one of the guardians you fight in those sector you have to take over?
@@zeeepicyoutuber8971 Because #1. Somnus was long dead. What is the point of acting as his shield when he's got the blessing of the crystal in death?
And #2. Gilgamesh wasn't immortalized as a *past king* like the other guardians.
Final Fantasy XV is underrated. Some people expected too much from the game.
how is expecting a good game, expecting too much? games from the 90s were better using less money. now a days they cost more and we have dialog like "my face is tired" day 1 patches and other stuff. :/
I will admit that the story could have been better but there are a lot of good points about the game and story.
What story are you talking about
It is in fact good game so ther you have it
Good point. I'm glad some people feel that way about the game.
0:39 Resembles "clash on the big bridge" from FFV! I didn't notice when hearing in the game
That's because it is the same battle theme of Gilgamesh in FFV. It's a remix.
It's the same theme in literally every official FF Gilgamesh fight. The music is so good they used the same each single time.
I loved the fight. But my PlayStation 4 was very loud During it
Lmao
Brrrrrrrrrr!!!
That feel when you develop a crush on Greg
Who wouldn't ?
To this day he still wants to beat Bartz
*Meanwhile, in Dissidia NT*
Bartz: Finally, I can rest.
I really like final fantasy 15 I watch it a lot
Hyper Reaper from survive the disasters 2
I understand previous gilgamesh was goofy and aloof at times, but this gilgamesh was strict like he literally tests you and i feel like he only accepts those who are mentally and physically strong to serve as the shield for the king, idk i actually liked ff15 gilgamesh more.
Epic theme
Battle at the Big Bridge NieR edition
The music, the boss, the game, the dlc, all slap. Idgaf what anyone says.
To be honest, this world’s Gilgamesh resembles Odin more than the Sword Hunter.
2000 years, the same dimension. A dimension he would like because it’s full of swords, has a sword god and he served under a king who could summon swords. Of course he stuck around
Not to mention after Stormblood in ff14 he lost a lot of weight to become Yojimbo
Sekiro prepared me for this fight!
Not sure why, but this boss fight plays like something out of Dark Souls.
Ah... Crimson Reaper.. my arch-nemesis since i've fought him in the past...
Anyone know who did this version of Battle on the Big Bridge?
Parts of it feel very Nier-esque!
Same composer
Wow I first discovered Keiicho Okabe through Yuuki Yuuna Was Yusha De Aru and his style is so recognizable! This song is a great and modern take on the Gilgamesh theme
BotBB: FF3 - a fun, jaunty action theme 😸
BotBB: FF15 - Your doom awaits, would-be adventurer...💀
Have anyone the lycris?
People get angry that this is Gilgamesh and that he doesn’t look anything like the classic design.
The thing about that is; sometimes it’s best to deviate from the classic. This version of Gilgamesh looks fucking amazing., and I’d be angrier if it was classic bright red screw-up Gilgamesh.
2000 years, the same dimension. A dimension he would like because it’s full of swords, has a sword god and he served under a king who could summon swords. Of course he stuck around

his posture and movement reminds me of Black Knights from dark souls
Darksouls called they want their fight back
And Marvel sewed the old Gilgamesh. So DS and FF are at an impasse.
Girugamesh! #TheUndyingMeme #WontLetItDie
I like Greg's new look here but it seems that he lost his identity. He looks more like Sephiroth, Yojimbo, or Archer from Fate series rather than the greg we all know and love. Though I must say that his spectral arm is a cool twist from the usual 6 handed greg.
Have you played Type-0? It's his origin story, the Gilgamesh here behaves like Type-0's Gilgamesh
KoreWaStandoTsukai thats actually the game I haven't play. Interesting... so in type-0 he is more of stoic and honourble fighter. On the other hand, I still get more greg fibe in type-0 then here though.
Marshall S Thats becouse this isn't Gregg
Some theorize that as far as timelines go, Type-0 is one of Gilgi's original showings-off. Maybe as far as 'chronological' with a riftwalker goes, this could still be his earlier events of his life before he got suckered into Exdeath's work?
Gratuitous Lurking I think this Gilgamesh is separate from all other versions of Gilgamesh. So theoretically Greg could travel through the void to Eos and duke it out with the blade master of ffxv
So...... Gilgamesh had a brother also named Gilgamesh? I like this idea better than this somehow being the Sword Hunting Gil we all know and love.
Btw this guy's design is badass.

use the correct play speed: x1.25
This made me fanboy so hard
5:11 ....oh you mother....youve BEEN GOING EASY?!!!!!
Best Gilgamesh ever.
like this greg version ost
this is Gilgamesh when he is serious.
2000 years, the same dimension. A dimension he would like because it’s full of swords, has a sword god and he served under a king who could summon swords. Of course he stuck around

Crimson reaper (Super boss)
sounds like an Automata soundtrack
Is this the same Gilgamesh who's popped up in other Final Fantasy games?
Yeah. The same blade-master.
In my opinion, nope.
@@максимдмитриев-ы6сno this one isn’t
Golgamesh is always the same character expect for in 9, 11 and 15
hyper reaper
YES
what happened to my boi gilga?? from lots of hands to one hand?
2000 years, the same dimension. A dimension he would like because it’s full of swords, has a sword god and he served under a king who liked sword. Of course he stuck around
It’s just a different Gilgamesh
That beatiful music remind me Nier Automata and i want cry:(
Gilgamesh (Ultimate)
Alt. title: Swordseeker's Trial (Ultimate).
some lyrics:
what the fk
what even
what the fk
what even, is all this c**p
*_Reaper_*
*_HYPER_** BOSS BATTLE*
Still prefer FF5 ver just because original but this one comes close
Reaper.
Hyper Reaper
the best ever boss
2 hits and you are almost dead... monster hunter?
What are you on about?
not to be this guy. but I favor his Classic design.
Zero Hunter Don't blame ya. I don't even know why they bothered to call him Gilgamesh lmao
I've read somewhere that it's FFXV version of gilgamesh and not the version gilgamesh we all know lol XD
so this is not the same guy as the dimension hopper who we know well all this time....
if the True Red Gilgamesh know about this impostor, he must be mad and come for duel with him... lol
doubt Gilgamesh would because he may see a bit of his old self in this Gilgamesh. After everything that happened to Gilgamesh in his origin story, which is Type-0, Greg would probably show his more serious side he keep hidden behind that Comedy Personality to FFXV Gilgamesh due to how he can relate to this Gilgamesh in a certain way.
After all the reason why Gilgamesh take weapons from people he defeat is because he believes only the strong should wield these "legendary" Weapons due to how he saw Ace and his friend die before they could complete their missing to end the War in Type-0.
So let me get this straight. You want super funny guy 'greg' Gilgamesh.....to have a super serious duel to the death and be legit terror.......yeah okay, your nostalgia blinds, Sir.
00:00 WHAT THE F*CK, WHAT EVEN, WHAT THE F*CK, WHAT EVEN! IT’S ALL CRAP
What are you on about?
No no no, this isn't Greg. This is Siegfried from FFVI.

Game sucks but I found myself a new ringtone
This game is amazing
That's not Gilgamesh. That's a generic Dark Souls NPC. Tell me I'm wrong.
You’re wrong.

"Remember Gilgamesh? The boss everyone loved for his whimsical antics?"
"Yeah! Always a fan favorite!"
"What if we shoehorned him into this dogshit game, but made him the exact opposite of what he's supposed to be. You know, just real edgy and generic, an absolute middle finger of a character, proof of our contempt for the very *concept* of Final Fantasy."
"Ooh, nice! Maybe give him only *one* arm too, you know, to really hammer home just how much we hate them and the entire concept of fantastical whimsy."
"Should we have him piss on a picture of a fat chocobo or make him stab a moogle in a lovingly rendered CG cutscene?"
"I love the sound of that, but we'd need to make another DLC, because apparently it's too much trouble to just make a game and be done with it."
Different version of him, plus, if you knew anything about the game you're calling "dog shit" (I'm also gonna assume you yell at people who did love it) the goofy version of him wouldn't fit against gladio. Especially since this whole dlc was him training after a loss. But ya know, we also gotta make sure characters stay the same at all times, even if it's not in the same universe, or even if it is as, decades after the first game he showed up in.
Also this became dlc because the game was in development hell. But I'm glad you think making a game is easy, and that development hell doesn't exist.
I'm also gonna assume you yell at people who do enjoy this game.
