I love that the Power Rangers joke has persisted with Gilgamesh ever since the GBA remake of Final Fantasy 5. Also, for those who don’t know, the “morbin’ time” joke was originally a joke based on the “morphin’ time” catch phrase from Power Rangers.

This game has decidedly set my expectations of Gilgamesh representation way too high. The incorporation of "Let the Battles Begin" into the phase transition is too fucking good, and I demand all future versions of BotBB include a subtle motif from the host game's battle theme.
It's so damn good, I can't stop listening to it. Also the stabs at 0:08, even though they go with the original version of the song, are also technically from "Let the Battles Begin" too and that is just masterclass work.
BotBB is one of those FF tracks where, no matter how many times they remix it and rearrange it, every single one gives me goosebumps. I hope Square never lets you go, Greg.
Fun fact is during NHK Final Fantasy poll back in 2020, Uematsu Nobuo said "Battle on the Big Bridge", was a *filler song* and he had no fond memories when composing it. But he didn't expect it becomes one of his most popular tracks and most requested song in the project he was in such orchestra, brass and even his band.

I was under leveled and on the hardest difficulty when I fought him. Legit one of the fun fights of the game. I had 14 HP left when I delivered the final blow 🤣 I was about to yell if I lost after fighting for almost 20 mins.
Just took him on last night. Long battle but first tried. The trials were more tricky but they helped set up my items and inventory to take the fight on. It wasnt easy
Never fought a boss that took ages to defeat but throughout never once got frustrated, loved it and nodded my head to the epic remastered remix of the FF V version of the battle theme, this game is truly a master piece

The game actually doesn’t let you, even if you restart the chapter. You would have to backup a save or delete all your data

This goes way too hard, did the fight earlier today took me like 20 mins at level 49 and did it on my first try surprisingly (cloud, yuffie, barrett) but what a fucking goated soundtrack to a goated fight
man same, i was 46 with the same team, man best team ever took me like 30 min cloud was the healer awesome fight
@@estebancorrales9879 ikr! Barely used any items all game had to use so many for this fight lol, having to parry to pressure was also v interesting as I wasnt doing it all that often more of a dodger 😂
@@NexusofNuance HAHAHAHA i was just dodging, it was so hard to parry gilgamesh that i left my teamates do it while i used potions breeze to heal them, they got rid of some gilgamesh weapons while i was shooting from another angle, it was funny
when i got to this fight today. i had to pause the game a soak in the track not realizing it was going to continuously evolver with the fight.
The way the original ff7 boss theme is mixed within this is just……..HEAVENLY!!!
When I heard the Gilgamesh Clash on the Big Bridge beginning at the start of the Gilgamesh boss fight, I was so hyped!! That boss fight was truly legendary! Only Gilgamesh can make Excalipoor look so deadly
